Valerie was beaming with excitement when Heaven announced the birth of what's yet to be the strongest angel that has lived, or atleast that's what they said, that was The Big G's plan, for Lucifer..
For a week or two no one was allowed to enter the chamber which Lucifer was held in, no one was allowed to enter expect the working angels of the heaven embassy who would enter to feed him or take care of him, otherwise no one would enter.
After those two agonizing weeks were over, Angels were allowed to meet baby Lucifer, visits had to be short though.
The Big G was very strict about not giving Lucifer too much affection or cuddling him like angels normally do with baby's.
He said that in order for him to grow up heavens strongest angel he mustn't be spoiled.
Little 4 year old Valerie had sneaked her way into Lucifer's chamber. She was the smallest angel in heaven embassy for a long time and had never had the chance to meet another baby until now.
She makes her way to his crib, he was asleep. She could barely see anything however because she was too short and couldn't reach, she finds a small stool and manages to push it to the crib and hop up on it.
When Lucifer hears that noise he stirs awake making whining sounds, I guess he doesn't like being woken up from his nap.
When he opens his eyes the first thing he sees is Valerie, staring down at him, not a bad view.
He coos and props his arms up clearly wanting to be held or for Valerie to interact with him.
Valerie continues staring down at him however with her wide curious eyes, like a Siamese cat or something.
She doesn't know how to interact with a baby, she had never seen a creature this small before.
She intertwines her hand with the baby's, not knowing what he wanted or why he was holding his hands up like that.
She's interrupted by the sound of the door suddenly opening, she immediately lets go of Lucifer's hand and jumps off the stool.
One of the angels who was taking care of Lucifer enters.
She was probably one of the nicest angels in the heaven embassy, and she was really pretty and kind too, a big reason why alot of the smaller angels loved her.
Her eyes widen slightly when she sees Valerie. She speaks up with a soft voice, she almost never raises her tone.
"Valerie, what are you doing? You're not supposed to be in here."
Valerie steps away from the crib and responds in an apologetic tone, she knows very well how strict The Big G is about Lucifer's visits, if he knew that Valerie had sneaked in here he would probably cut her wings off or something.
"I'm sorry...I just wanted to- meet the baby, I never even got a glimpse of him until now!"
The angel, her name is Clara by the way, sighs. She has a soft spot for kids and their curiousities and she knows it's not Valerie's fault, everyone has indeed been pretty harsh and strict when it came to Lucifer.
"It's okay Valerie...I won't tell anyone about this if you pinky swear to never enter this chamber without permission again, хорошо?"
Valerie's eyes sparkle with determination, she would never wanna upset Clara (Клара) again.
"хорошо! I-I pinky swear!"
Клара smiles at the way Valerie pronounced the russian word, she's getting pretty good.
"What do we say when we've made a mistake Valerie?"
Valerie thinks for a moment, unsure about how it's pronounced.
Her eyes suddenly light up as she remembers
"Uhh.. Простите меня!"
Клара chuckles, proud of Valerie for remembering what she had told her.
"Good job Val! You'll be a pro in no time. Now go on to your chamber before someone sees you here, we could get in real trouble"
Valerie nods, her eyes have a bit of fear in them at the thought of being caught. The Big G or the other archangels are not people you can just play with, they're incredibly strict and scary. Valerie runs off to her room in a hurry.
