"Hold on!"
Just as Jethro Houseman was being handcuffed, ready to be escorted into the police car.
Dirk Carter suddenly shouted.
The heavily armed police officers stopped in their tracks.
Jethro Houseman turned around, looking at Dirk Carter without the slightest fear, but rather with a hint of condescension.
"You don't seem to regret what you did at all."
Dirk Carter said to Jethro Houseman.
Jethro Houseman looked relaxed.
He said, "Dirk Carter, oh Dirk Carter, you're too young, do you think this is the first time something like this has happened? Of course not, haven't all those in power come to the top in such ways? I just happened to fail, do you expect to see me crying and begging for mercy from you? Don't be ridiculous."
"You truly are a madman."
Dirk Carter said.
Jethro Houseman laughed heartily.
He said calmly, "Let me tell you how this is going to play out, shall I?"
