The four abstract entities of the Universe: Eternity represents the concretization of the sum of the entire Universe's space and dimensions.
Oblivion is the concretization of nothingness and the unknowable; Eternity is the concretization of time, life, and the Universe itself.
The last one, Death, is the concretization of Death, the Master of souls, and the manipulator and source of all souls."
Ron pondered the possibilities.
In the comics, Thanos was a madman, madly in love with the goddess Death.
He could kill all his women and descendants for the goddess Death, just to prove his love for the goddess Death.
He could slaughter half the people in the Universe without batting an eye, just to please the goddess Death.
However, in the CU Universe, Thanos became a peculiar and obsessive madman; slaughtering half the people in the Universe was, in his eyes, saving the Universe.
It had nothing to do with Death; he didn't even know Death.
"He ultimately succeeded in collecting all six Infinity Stones, and a snap of his fingers turned half the life in the Universe into dust."
Logically, such a massive impact on the Universe should not have been approved by the four abstract entities, yet Thanos succeeded.
Clearly, someone helped him.
But who could change the minds of the four abstract entities? Undoubtedly, only the abstract entities themselves.
Death, she controls the Death of all life and enjoys the passing of life.
"In the CU Universe, Thanos doesn't know Death, but what he does, constantly slaughtering life, is undoubtedly what Death likes.
The idea of slaughtering half the life in the Universe would probably excite Death even more."
Ron speculated that Death, as in the comics, likely helped Thanos succeed in slaughtering half the life in the Universe.
Life and Death, these two aspects have nothing to do with Eternity and Oblivion; they only involve Death and Eternity.
Life is only a part of the authority that Eternity controls; it is not impossible for him to yield in the face of Death, who is happy to see this happen.
"Because the four entity lives are siblings, and Death is Eternity's elder sister."
As for later, Hulk snapped his fingers to bring back half the people in the Universe, and Iron Man snapped his fingers to turn Thanos and his army into dust.
Presumably, even the elder sister could not be so strong-willed repeatedly, disregarding the opinions of others, coldly refusing to let half the life in the Universe return, and personally intervening merely to protect a crazy Eternal.
In the chair, a deep red gem was revealed on Ron's silver metal gauntlet, as a section of the metal on the back of his hand flowed away like liquid, gleaming with a profound radiance, as if an entire World was contained within it.
"Reality Stone"
Odin couldn't tolerate every thought being monitored and having to seek approval to use the power of the gem; he was the same.
Moreover, he had a huge secret that could not be known, more important than the gem.
For this reason, Ron gave up the idea of collecting all six gems.
However, there was no need to abandon the benefit of the gems to his strength.
"As long as it doesn't exceed two."
His eyes flickered, and he whispered softly.
Among the six gems, he possessed the Mind and Space Stones, but these were not his ideal choices.
Although the Mind Stone was still somewhat useful in his hands.
But compared to that, if he could only choose two, Ron preferred the Reality Stone and the Power Stone among the six gems.
"One can modify reality, almost like a miniature Infinity Gauntlet.
The other is the easiest to unleash immense power."
Compared to other gems, which require a thorough understanding of ancient cosmic mysteries to unleash their power, the Power Stone can be used as long as one can withstand its energy impact.
Ron clenched his hand, and the liquid on the thin, simple metal gauntlet flowed again, concealing the Reality Stone's presence and making it appear seamless.
He was not like Thanos, who built an Infinity Gauntlet but deliberately placed the gems on the outside, like a parvenu; it was pure luck they weren't seized by enemies.
And Iron Man.
"If Stark, during the final battle, had added a simple palm print recognition or authorization requirement to the gauntlet he made, otherwise the nano-gauntlet would self-destruct.
He wouldn't have ended up having to sacrifice his life."
Ron shook his head slightly.
At his request, the Dwarf King Eitri made him this Infinity Gauntlet that could conceal the gems and recognize his palm print.
The technology of the Nine Realms surpassed that of Earth by thousands of years; they just preferred a retro style.
Nano-metal technology was no problem for them at all.
Although his goal was only two, even the Space Stone and Mind Stone, just in case, he put them in a Vibranium box without a keyhole and sent them to different underground locations in the Nine Realms, far apart.
But just in case, he still had Eitri leave six inlay slots.
It wasn't that he couldn't make it; even if he didn't use it, considering more possibilities was always better.
"I still need the Power Stone."
The spaceship jumped and shuttled through the starry sky, and Ron sighed as he looked at the scenery outside.
The Reality Stone, theoretically, can turn all imagination and fantasy in one's mind into true reality, disregarding all real-World logic, natural laws, and scientific principles.
It is undoubtedly the most powerful of the six gems, but also the most difficult to control.
Even with the Infinity Gauntlet's assistance, he couldn't change reality however he wanted.
Thanos's Infinity Gauntlet was the same; if he could freely modify reality after obtaining the Reality Stone, he wouldn't have bothered collecting the other gems.
He could have simply modified reality to make the other gems appear before him, or snapped his fingers to turn those who hindered him into dust.
"The Power Stone is still the most brutal and simple; the Reality Stone still requires a certain amount of practice and control."
Morag, a desolate Planet with three natural satellites.
Once, its surface had a prosperous and developed civilization, glorious for a time; the Power Stone was kept and collected in a temple they built.
But at some unknown time and for unknown reasons, the once-developed civilization was destroyed, and the Planet became desolate.
A small spaceship quickly landed on Morag.
Stepping off the spaceship, Star-Lord, wearing a red leather jacket and a helmet, looked at the rocky, foggy surface of the Planet, where hot springs occasionally sprayed into the sky, and felt a slight sense of melancholy.
There were some architectural ruins, signifying the rise, development, and eventual demise of a glorious civilization here.
However, the next moment, he stopped sighing and raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not here to look at these broken rocks.
Let me see where its central temple is."
Some time ago, The Collector suddenly offered an unimaginably astronomical sum in the Universe for something called the Cosmic Orb.
He searched for a long time before getting a clue: the Cosmic Orb, which could make him carefree for the rest of his life, was hidden on this abandoned Planet, untouched by anyone in the Universe.
Confirming that there was no toxic gas on the Planet's surface, Star-Lord removed his helmet, turned on the Walkman his mother left him, and let loose on this uninhabited Planet.
He sang and danced along to the upbeat music in his ears, heading towards the magnificent, ruined temple not far away.
"Someone got here before us."
A spaceship, in stealth mode, silently descended and hovered in the atmosphere, and Gamora, with green skin and long hair, frowned.
Nebula's face showed an expression of disgust as she watched Star-Lord on the surface, singing and dancing with a lizard-like creature from Morag as a microphone.
"Is this guy an idiot?"
"We'll follow him. He can scout ahead for us." The unknown temple might be full of dangers, and Gamora wanted to use Star-Lord as a trailblazer.
"Don't try to command me."
Nebula, with blue skin and most of her body mechanically modified, showed a ferocious expression on her face.
Like Gamora, she was Thanos's adopted daughter. From a young age, Thanos trained them, making them compete with each other. The loser, the weaker one, had to undergo mechanical modification.
And from childhood to adulthood, facing the merciless Gamora, she never won once, and the price was becoming a half-machine, neither human nor ghost, as she was now.
"Suit yourself. You can stay here too."
Gamora folded her arms and sneered.
"If it weren't for us messing up with Ronan and being looked down upon by Father, who doubted our respective abilities.
I wouldn't have been ordered to act with you."
"Ronan."
Nebula's eyes showed hatred: "That fool, went to a remote galaxy and lost his life."
And he harmed her, because of her inefficiency, another part of her body was replaced with machinery.
In contrast, Gamora only received some reprimands and extra training.
This was another reason for her hatred of Gamora: Thanos's undisguised favoritism towards Gamora.
Click!
Star-Lord activated mechanisms all the way, successfully reaching the depths of the temple.
Above a platform, a silver, hollow spherical object was protected by a plasma energy shield.
As a pirate who had been mixing in the Universe since childhood, Star-Lord skillfully avoided touching the shield that could turn him to dust, took out a magnetic attractor, and placed it on the ground.
The Cosmic Orb was attracted and spontaneously broke through the shield, falling into the magnetic attractor.
He chuckled, took out the Orb, and weighed it in his hand.
Star-Lord seemed to see boundless wealth beckoning to him.
But suddenly, a cold female voice broke his fantasy.
"Don't move."
The green-skinned woman walked in, holding two laser pistols, and a blue-skinned half-machine person, holding two short daggers, with fierce eyes, like looking at an object to be dissected.
"Hey, ladies.
Being too fierce won't make anyone like you."
"Put it down immediately!"
Gamora fired a shot at his feet and coldly shouted.
"Okay, okay, don't get excited."
Star-Lord dared not move, bending down to put it down.
Nebula picked up the Orb with burning eyes, slowly walked behind him step by step, and pressed the short dagger against his neck: "Now, I ask, you answer."
"Do you know what's inside this thing?"
"I don't know, I'm just an explorer, rummaging through junk here and there."
Star-Lord laughed, not wanting anyone to know that this was the Cosmic Orb, which The Collector had put a high bounty on.
"You're lying."
But Nebula saw through him at a glance and cut a bloodstain on his neck with the dagger.
"What do you want to ask, Nebula?"
Gamora asked, puzzled. What was there to ask?
They didn't not know what this thing was; the so-called bounty was actually issued by their Black Order.
"I want to know if My Lord's secret has been leaked."
Nebula sneered.
The suggestion to issue a bounty in the Universe through The Collector, who likes to collect all sorts of strange things, was proposed by Gamora and approved by Thanos.
But doing so would also draw many eyes to the Cosmic Orb.
She wondered if anyone would find out that the Cosmic Orb was the Power Stone.
Now that the Cosmic Orb had been found, Gamora would undoubtedly be credited with a great achievement. She wanted to find a fault in Gamora to prevent her from being so smug.
"Boring."
Gamora rolled her eyes: "If you have this energy, you might as well save it for the next competition outside."
These words undoubtedly stung Nebula; her face darkened, and she stared intently at Gamora.
She began to consider whether to try to kill Gamora right here and then frame this man.
The two sisters, engrossed in their verbal spat, did not notice Star-Lord's hand slowly reaching for the gun behind his waist.
Tap, tap.
A series of footsteps approached.
"Someone got here before us.
Ron, are they also after what you want?"
A woman's voice came, it was Ron and the two women who had arrived at Morag by spaceship, entering the temple.
Behind them followed a group of Wakandan female guards who had undergone the improved Extremis virus modification.
"Unsurprisingly, yes."
Ron scanned the three familiar figures.
As a psychic, it was very easy to clearly recall a name like Morag from his past memories.
Coupled with Asgard's star map, they had arrived here.
But he didn't expect someone to have arrived before him.
Daisy and Jane curiously looked at the two aliens they had never seen before.
As for Star-Lord, "This guy, how does he look no different from us Earthlings?" Daisy asked.
"Who are you?"
Gamora immediately tensed up, pulling out a gun and aiming it at Ron and the others.
Looking at the laser gun, Ron chuckled without speaking; only Jane and Daisy were slightly nervous. Even though they had gained supernatural powers, they were still not quite used to such scenes.
The Wakandan female guards raised their Vibranium spears.
Whoosh!
Suddenly.
Star-Lord moved. He pulled out two guns from behind his waist, elbowed Nebula, whose attention was on Ron, quickly retreated, and aimed at Gamora and the other woman.
As for Ron, he didn't see any firearms or weapons on Ron and Jane, so he immediately judged them as no threat.
"Ladies, I'll let you know what happens when you provoke the legendary outlaw Star-Lord."
Having perfectly escaped the predicament, Star-Lord was slightly smug, deliberately emphasizing the syllables as he spoke his famous name.
"Legendary outlaw?" "Star-Lord?"
The two looked at each other, their faces full of question marks: "Who's that?"
"You haven't heard of me?" Star-Lord's face stiffened.
Whoosh!
"Enough, I'm not interested in your farce."
In the tall, divine temple, Ron spoke softly.
He stretched out his hand, and with the pull of the light of fear, the Cosmic Orb flew out and landed in his hand before Nebula could react.
Originally, it was Ronan's subordinates who were fighting Star-Lord here, but now it was Gamora and Nebula, though this made no difference to him.
"Hey!"
The next second, the three now had a common enemy and aimed their guns at Ron.
Gamora and the other woman wanted to retrieve the Orb, while Star-Lord wanted the bounty.
"Take them down."
Ron looked at the Cosmic Orb in his hand and waved his hand without even looking.
A team of Wakandan guards rushed forward. They held Vibranium spears, and having been modified by the Extremis virus, the three guys were no match for them.
But the three guys weren't taken down that quickly; they started fighting in the temple.
Crack! Crack!
The Power Stone was protected by the indestructible shell of the Cosmic Orb; it couldn't be removed without proper and tedious disassembly.
He didn't care about that; he pressed his palms together without emotion and squeezed.
The Cosmic Orb was crushed like a fragile biscuit, and a gem shimmering with a strong purple light was revealed, glowing in the temple and illuminating Ron's face.
"The Power Stone is mine."
