Mary Geoise.
The sacred land that stood above the world.
Even the air here carried an oppressive sense of superiority.
Beneath the enormous shadows of the Celestial Dragon palaces, armed Holy Knights patrolled silently.
Yet today—
The atmosphere throughout the Holy Land felt unusually heavy.
Inside the highest chamber of authority.
The Five Elders sat in silence.
The newspaper reporting Kaido's defeat remained spread across the table.
Hawk's image stared back at them like a challenge.
Saint Warcury finally broke the silence.
"He's gone too far."
His deep voice echoed coldly through the chamber.
"A Marine defeating Kaido is one thing."
"But publicly declaring the end of Celestial Dragon rule?"
"That cannot be tolerated."
Saint Nusjuro slowly adjusted the sword resting at his side.
"The problem isn't only his strength."
"It's influence."
"He now has the support of the Marines… and the common people."
"He's becoming a second symbol of justice."
Saint Ju Peter narrowed his eyes.
"And symbols are dangerous."
The room fell silent again.
Then—
The massive chamber doors opened slowly.
Tap.
Tap.
Tap.
A figure walked inside calmly.
Long white hair.
A scar crossing one side of his face.
The overwhelming aura of someone who stood above countless lives.
Supreme Commander of the Holy Knights.
Figarland Garling.
The moment he entered—
The killing intent in the room intensified instantly.
Garling's gaze slowly fell upon the newspaper.
Specifically—
On Hawk.
Then he spoke coldly.
"My son died because of him."
No one answered.
Because everyone understood which son he meant.
Shamrock.
The heir of the Figarland family.
Killed during the conflict with the Marines.
Garling's eyes gradually darkened.
"And now…"
"He defeated Kaido."
"This man cannot be left alive."
Saint Saturn finally raised his head.
"What do you propose?"
Garling's lips curved slightly.
A smile completely devoid of warmth.
"We erase him."
"Before he becomes uncontrollable."
Saint Mars frowned slightly.
"That won't be easy."
"The Marines currently worship him."
"If he dies openly, the entire organization could fracture."
Garling snorted coldly.
"Then we won't kill him openly."
He stepped toward the massive world map hanging within the chamber.
Then pointed directly toward the New World.
"G-5."
"Hawk's newly established headquarters."
"He's currently reorganizing Marine influence there."
A dangerous gleam appeared in Garling's eyes.
"So…"
"We destroy it."
The atmosphere instantly became colder.
Saint Warcury slowly understood.
"You want to start a war inside the New World itself."
"Correct."
Garling folded his arms behind his back.
"The remaining Emperors."
"The underground brokers."
"The kingdoms that fear Marine expansion."
"Even pirates hiding in the shadows."
"As long as someone pushes them…"
"They'll all target Hawk simultaneously."
Saint Ju Peter nodded slowly.
"A battlefield where everyone benefits from Hawk's death…"
"…interesting."
"But what if he survives?"
Garling's gaze became terrifyingly sharp.
"Then I'll personally cut off his head."
Silence.
No one doubted those words.
Because Garling himself was a monster from the previous era.
A man feared even among the Celestial Dragons.
At that moment—
A masked agent suddenly appeared inside the chamber and knelt immediately.
"Report."
"The Revolutionary Army has begun moving as well."
Dragon.
The name alone caused the atmosphere to shift slightly.
Saint Saturn's eyes darkened.
"So even that criminal senses the change in the world…"
The agent lowered his head further.
"There's more."
"Several kingdoms have recently begun refusing excessive Heavenly Tribute payments."
"And…"
He hesitated briefly.
"Public support for the Marines is rapidly surpassing support for the World Government itself."
Boom.
The room's killing intent exploded instantly.
A government feared for eight hundred years…
Was beginning to lose control of public faith.
Saint Mars slammed his cane against the ground.
"Those insects dare question the gods?!"
Garling remained calm.
But his voice became colder than ice.
"Then we remind the world…"
"Who truly rules it."
Meanwhile—
Far away in the New World.
G-5 Marine Base.
Unlike the old chaotic fortress it once was, the current base had become almost unrecognizable.
Warships filled the harbor.
Elite Marines patrolled every district.
Countless civilians and merchants moved through newly established trade zones.
The symbol of justice now stood firmly within pirate territory itself.
Inside the highest office.
Hawk quietly read intelligence reports one after another.
Outside the window—
Rain slowly began falling over the sea.
Knock.
The office door opened.
Hibari walked inside carrying fresh documents.
"You haven't rested since yesterday."
Hawk glanced up briefly.
"You should rest too."
Hibari smiled softly.
"Fleet Commander works harder than anyone else."
She placed the reports onto the table.
Then her expression became more serious.
"Cipher Pol activity has increased recently."
"And several pirate groups are secretly forming alliances."
Hawk leaned back slightly.
"As expected."
Hibari looked toward him.
"You already knew?"
Hawk's gaze turned toward the dark sea outside the window.
"The World Government won't stay quiet after Kaido's defeat."
"They're afraid."
"Afraid the Marines will become stronger than their control."
Lightning flashed across the horizon.
For a brief moment—
The coldness in Hawk's eyes became terrifying.
"Which means…"
"They're finally preparing to kill me."
Instead of concern—
A faint smile slowly appeared on his face.
"Good."
"I was getting tired of waiting."
