when he look in his spirit and the condition of sect, it make him sure that he is replace Tang Ya's.
there's two path way that can be consider
1. Plant sequence spirit ring: enchant characteristic of Plant type martial soul. If he chose more thoughtful about ring's combination, it can lead another mutation or evolution in several ways.
2. Darkness's set ring: consider his natural element is darkness, make it as focus won't be bad. Since his essence spirit is plant, somehow poison can appear in darkness relate spirit ring too. If he is luck enough, it can be ultimate darkness. (since there's concept of child of destiny, luck factor have the biggest role in cultivation read)
Tang Sect was famous of it's hidden weapon and poison art. MC will chose to focus is poison art. The objective is learning about spiritual plant and running some clinic later. Knowing about medicine is also more benefit for his cultivation instead hidden weapon art.
Fighting style: I think take Deku from My Hero Academia as reference is better.
Plot:
He will has a simple life in earlier. Once his parent death (let set it when he is 10 years old), he knows that he won't get any help from anyone. Even his house will be taken later.
That's way think instead ask the help, ask an audience with some bargain will get a better reach. He will send the later to Clear Sky Sect, Sherk Academy, and Royal Family that he will sell Tang Sect's residence.
Clear Sky Sect and Sherk Academy will react, thought they're not help him with anything. They judge that MC don't have respect to the ancestor. In other side, Heaven Dou's royal family find this is amusing. So there's hold the meeting about this.
Clear Sky Sect send some elder and Sherk Academy send Xuan Zi.
Once when they meet MC, they'll a little bit angry and yell to him. Then MC will shut them with a word with a cold voice about once chose to be outsider, just stand with it.
After it's sold, he use Tang Sect's quote to relocated himself. At first, Xuan Zi don't agree with it since he think that MC chose to destroy Tang Sect himself and it make the quote's recommendation not valid anymore.
This thing go to Sea God Pavillion. And in the end, Mu Lao chose to accept MC's application and give him a full scholarship as his regret about his situation. Tang Sect's recommendation will be valid as long as he is alive, it is for give Tang Sect time to breath and for it's reconstruction.
So he can recruit someone starting to the next year, in that next year can be original character that interest in Soul Guide Device. Two years later, he will invite Jiang Nannan. She is one of main character in the canon, having her in his side will give him some advantage. Moreover that he has deep understanding in medical knowledge, he can give a hand for her mother so her traumatic event won't be happen.
Academy's life: later he will be the best in control system. In that generation, there's will be famous of The Big Three

First year, he will be classmate with Nannan. First year exam will be similar with the canon. Their member team will be join to Tang Sect after they're be champion. In the final, the enemy will be Xu Shansi, Beibei, and one of support system.
Second to third year, MC will be quite famous and be able to recruit a few talent. One of them is Ye Guyi, She is someone who he invite through Tang Sect's recomendation.
Later will be similar with Canon.
New Seven Sherk Devil: MC, Beibei, Xu Shanshi, Jiang Nannan, Huo Yuhao, Xiao Xiao, Wang Dong.
If Ye Guyi be included, the one that's not be choice either Shanshi or Xiao Xiao. Though I think that team is already solid.
Or when the last eight, he make it as if it is stalemate. So there's Eight Devil. MC can try to persuade Xuan Zi to accept it. He will bring the fact that once Original Sherk's Devil take one more person in their epic journey to Sea God Island (Bai Chenxiang)
