The front doors of the estate burst open at exactly three-fifteen as two small tornadoes in school uniforms shot through the entrance hall. They would have jumped out of the car while it was still moving if Marco hadn't activated the child lock.
"Slow down!" Gerald called after them, but Dante and Dario were already gone, shoes half kicked off, bags flying just so they could run faster.
They took the stairs two at a time, nearly crashed into a maid carrying fresh towels, and skidded into their bedroom.
Bags hit the floor and their uniform jackets followed.
"Let's go find out Nanny first!" Dario yelled.
They bolted out again and ran straight to Elias's old room... the small one he used when he was still just the nanny.
Without knocking, the door slammed open.
"NANNY!"
They froze.
