Chapter 225 - SWWW Chapter 226: Online Soul Summoning? Wanda’s Return!

SWWW Chapter 226: Online Soul Summoning? Wanda's Return!

As soon as Prince stepped into the Asgardian hall, a red carpet—or rather, a cloak—flew straight toward her.

Because a small orange cat was lying on top of it, the whole thing looked almost like a magic carpet.

Prince caught the floating cloak and cat in her arms, then looked ahead. Several robed elf-witches were gathered around the center of the hall.

On a stone bed lay Wanda, quiet and still, her body and the bed both enveloped in a scarlet protective barrier.

"How is she?" Prince asked as she stepped forward.

The leading witch, an older woman in a black robe, shook her head. She didn't seem to care whether Prince was of Asgard or not—her focus never left Wanda's red-dressed body, her expression complicated. "Too strange. Inside her… there is an unimaginably powerful energy."

"Stranger still—her soul is missing…"

"Wait a minute!"

Prince froze. "You mean, she has no soul inside her?"

"That's right. Her soul is no longer within this body."

The black-robed witch frowned, half explaining, half musing. "Normally, a soul cannot be separated from the body for long. If the separation lasts too long, the body begins to reject the soul until it loses all vitality. And once the body decays, the soul can no longer linger in the world."

"So body and soul must remain bound. Even if they separate, it can only be temporary."

"But this girl… a body without its soul, yet still sustaining life indefinitely. I have never seen such a case."

The witch's tone revealed genuine bewilderment—this was beyond her understanding.

"Wanda's soul isn't inside her body?"

Xi Nian thought back on what had happened earlier and suddenly realized—maybe this was his fault!

Sharing one body with Diana, she instantly sensed his thoughts and sighed silently. "You really are something…"

The space necklace's daily uses were already exhausted. It couldn't be activated again today.

Prince suddenly asked, "You said the soul and body are bound, and even if separated, it's only temporary. So does that mean—even if they're far apart, if her body is stimulated enough, her soul might return?"

"That is true."

The black-robed witch nodded. "But I already tried. I used magic to stimulate her body. Not only was I repelled by the energy inside her, there was no effective response at all."

"I suspect she has been lost for too long. The stimulus was not strong enough."

The witch analyzed, "If there were a force stronger than the energy within her, combined with calling her name, or reminding her of something she deeply cares about—then perhaps her soul could be drawn back."

"I'll try."

Prince approached the stone bed.

Earlier, Wanda had resembled Little Red Riding Hood. Now, she was more like a miniature Sleeping Beauty.

Her delicate little face was expressionless, her red dress perfectly still, making her look like a life-sized porcelain doll.

With Xi Nian in control and Diana supporting him, Prince gently brushed aside Wanda's crimson hair. At his fingertip, a point of white light bloomed, burning like a flame.

The elf-witches paled, instinctively retreating away from the bed.

The black-robed witch stared in shock.

That wasn't just light—it was divine power itself.

Vastly greater than Thor's divine energy, yet perfectly condensed into a single point. A force she had only ever seen from Odin himself!

Prince pressed that blazing fingertip against Wanda's forehead.

Instantly, the scarlet energy that bound Wanda's body resisted, clashing fiercely against Prince's divine power.

He couldn't even get close, let alone stimulate her body.

As expected.

Prince realized—even this fused divine power wasn't stronger than the scarlet energy within Wanda.

Understandable.

After all, that energy might well be tied to an Infinity Stone. Its strength was the ceiling of the universe.

"Fortunately, I also have a stone."

Prince's other hand slipped into the floating cloak, gripping the pendant around Xiao Huang's neck. Though the space necklace itself couldn't be used again today, its true power was never the necklace…

It was the gem inside it.

Guided by Prince's divine power, a trace of blue light flickered from the pendant, distorting the surrounding space—but it didn't harm his hand.

Prince drew out a sliver of the Space Stone's energy, merging it with his divine power, and carefully channeled it into Wanda's forehead.

The burning white flame around his fingertip shifted—blue-white, with rainbow-hued inner fire.

This time—

The scarlet energy's defenses were pierced. His power touched Wanda's body, stimulating her flesh with gentle heat.

Wanda's tightly shut eyes fluttered. Her eyelashes trembled faintly.

It worked.

Prince focused and whispered, "Wanda! Can you hear me?"

…

Elsewhere in the universe, aboard a black warship in mid-warp.

Alien soldiers in armored suits, holding strange weapons, patrolled the sleek metal corridors. After they passed, the hallway was empty again.

In one corner, shadows flickered. A girl's form faintly appeared—wearing a dress, her scarlet hair flowing like mist.

The ship's alarms stayed silent. On its cameras, she didn't exist.

Wanda's soul blinked and murmured, "So, everyone on this ship is bad…"

Just moments ago, she had glimpsed the secrets of this fleet.

"And… I feel like I'm getting closer to my body."

She frowned in surprise. The ship's course wasn't headed for Earth.

Then—

She froze. A shimmering rainbow flame appeared before her, and in her ears came a familiar, gentle voice calling her name.

"That's Miss Diana!"

Wanda's soul brightened with joy. She spun around eagerly. "Where are you?"

…

Back in the Asgardian hall.

Wanda's body twitched at the combined energy and her name being called. But she still couldn't wake. The scarlet energy's defenses only grew more violent, spilling out in crimson sparks.

The black-robed witch cried, "Not strong enough! Tell her more things she cares about!"

"Pietro!" Xi Nian quickly called out through Prince. A name Wanda would never ignore.

Her fingers stirred slightly—but her eyes stayed shut.

"Auntie, what do I say now?!"

Even Pietro's name wasn't enough. What else could reach Wanda's soul?

"Fool, let me handle this."

Diana took control of Prince's body. She leaned close to Wanda's ear and whispered something—something that stunned even Xi Nian.

The next instant—

A phantom was yanked across the universe, dragged back through space itself, and forced into the scarlet girl's body.

On the stone bed, Wanda's eyes snapped open—clear and radiant like gemstones.
