SWWW Chapter 228: A Godly Body Beyond Odin

Boom!!

From beyond the Rainbow Bridge—

Black smoke curled upward, fire roared fiercely.

Several blade-shaped assault ships were struck down by Asgard's defense turrets, crashing into the golden city's buildings. But even more dark warships and vessels forced their way through the skies, blotting out the heavens as they invaded the divine realm above the Nine Realms!

The first to suffer a direct strike of invasion—was Asgard's prison.

At this moment, inside the divine prison—

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The Asgardian guards stationed here were blasted away one after another, collapsing like wheat before a scythe. And the enemy responsible for this massacre… was just one being.

A hulking, three-meter-tall Dark Elf warrior, with grotesquely swollen muscles encased in sinister black armor, moving like a humanoid beast.

Charging through the prison corridors like a living tank, no Asgardian soldier could withstand him. He smashed his way into the deepest sector of the prison!

Here, reinforced cells lined with glowing energy shields held prisoners—villains captured during Asgard's campaigns to pacify the borders of the Nine Realms.

The Dark Elf warrior began destroying the cell locks, releasing the captives one by one. Soon, the prison echoed with the cheers of newly freed criminals.

In one of the cells—

A black-haired youth with sharp, sinister charm lounged lazily on his cot. Locked alone in his cell, he ignored the chaos around him and cast only a sideways glance at the Dark Elf.

"Fools rushing to die."

Loki, god of mischief, smirked coldly at the rejoicing prisoners.

To him, it was obvious—the Dark Elf wasn't rescuing them out of kindness. The freed criminals were nothing but cannon fodder to stall Asgard's guards.

"Still… this may be an opportunity."

Loki murmured, his handsome face curling into a mysterious grin. None could guess what thoughts brewed in his mind.

…

Meanwhile—

Inside Asgard's great hall.

The floating Cloak of Levitation stood guard at the door, gently holding a small orange kitten.

Outside, thunder roared and cannons blasted, screams echoing closer and closer.

"Don't worry. With me here, there's nothing to fear." Diana spoke calmly, letting Wanda remain lying on the stone bed.

"I believe in you, Miss Diana…"

Wanda closed her eyes obediently.

For some reason—

From Diana at this moment, Wanda felt a warmth almost identical to Xi Nian's.

Like her young master.

Diana placed her finger once more on Wanda's smooth forehead. But this time, no energy flared from her fingertip.

It wasn't like before, when she had stirred Wanda's body with external force.

This time—

Her touch carried no defense at all, almost like an invitation.

Hiss—!!

The scarlet energy inside Wanda instantly stirred restlessly.

Diana's eyes gleamed as she watched.

As Odin had explained earlier—

The Aether particles would naturally parasitize a host, devouring their energy until it fully converted the host's essence into dark matter.

But—when guided by a second, stronger energy source, the Aether would instinctively transfer into the more powerful host!

Hiss—

Wanda's pale skin took on a translucent glow. Scarlet energy surged like living blood, flowing along her veins and even seeping through her skin, streaming toward Diana's waiting hand.

This was the simplest and most effective method of extraction.

But it was a method even witches, even Odin, dared not attempt.

For good reason—

The stronger host would inherit the Aether's endless corrosion, a cycle without end.

Yet—

As the scarlet mist of Aether entered Diana's right hand, it vanished instantly upon contact!

Swish, swish.

More and more Aether particles poured out of Wanda, disappearing into Diana's slender hand.

At that very moment, inside Xi Nian's Devouring Dimension—

A vast, lifeless space stirred as the scarlet mist of Aether appeared out of thin air. It swirled violently, condensing into a liquid crimson orb. At its core, faintly… a gemstone revealed itself.

A red gem.

…

"So that's it. Scarlet… of course."

Diana understood everything now.

Why Xi Nian's perception had been disrupted, why the Aether could manipulate matter, distort space itself—

Because it was an Infinity Stone.

…

"Wanda, how do you feel?"

Diana released her hand and asked softly.

"I feel… great. My head isn't spinning anymore."

Wanda touched her forehead, sitting up happily.

"Try it. See if you can open a portal back to Earth." Diana reminded.

"Alright!"

Wanda hopped down from the bed, pulling a strange ring from her red dress pocket. Slipping it onto her finger, she began tracing circles in the air with practiced motions.

Like a true little witch.

Sparks burst forth, whirling into a ring of fire. Within moments, a round portal opened, showing the grassy park they had used as their rendezvous point.

"Come on, let's go back. Jarro is still waiting there." Diana smiled.

"Okay!"

Excited at the thought of seeing Xi Nian again, Wanda skipped forward, her black boots clicking as she crossed the portal—cloak and kitten following after.

Diana was about to step through as well, but suddenly paused, sensing something.

At the same time—

Bang!!

The great hall doors slammed open. Surrounded by alien soldiers wielding strange weapons, a dark figure in black armor and a pale mask strode in.

"I smell the Aether…"

His voice was hoarse and sharp. Malekith fixed his cold gaze on Diana, standing before the portal.

"It's in you, isn't it? Return the Aether to me."

"And if I refuse?" Diana asked calmly.

"Then die."

Malekith's words fell like a death sentence.

The next instant—

A section of the hall wall exploded inward as a massive Dark Elf warrior smashed through, charging directly at Diana with unstoppable momentum!

"Miss Diana!"

From the grassy park beyond the portal, Wanda cried out in alarm.

But before her voice finished—

The giant Dark Elf loomed over Diana, his three-meter form casting a shadow across the portal. His massive fist swung down toward her head.

"Be crushed into paste!"

Bang—!!

The impact thundered even louder than the wall's collapse.

The Dark Elf warrior convulsed like a broken puppet, his black armor shattering into pieces as he was sent hurtling backwards!
