Chapter 162: Squirrel

Inside the taxi, although Hawkeye hadn't yet found a suitable location to send the signal, Colin instantly saw everything happening on Governors Island by combining his Super Vision and Super X-Ray Vision.

Ignoring the ceaseless alarms, Natasha pulled a USB drive from her pocket and inserted it into the computer.
"Run decryption."
"Understood."
At her command, the decryption program's code began to run on the computer.

Drawing his bowstring, he fired an Arrow, destroying the surveillance camera overhead.
Clint turned his head to look at the person who had been stealthily following him. He couldn't help but frown and whisper, "Why are you following me?"

She stepped out from around the corner, pointed at the Squirrel on her shoulder, and replied, "Because Tippy-Toe told me it would be safe to follow you."

Hearing Doreen Green's words, the Squirrel on her shoulder named Tippy-Toe nodded its head seriously, then pulled a nut out of nowhere and began to gnaw on it.
"Tippy-Toe, where did you get a nut?"
Seeing the nut the Squirrel was eating, Doreen Green's expression immediately turned to surprise.
"Squeak squeak..."
"What do you mean you hid it? I even gave you half of my bread, and you were hiding nuts behind my back!"
*Squeak squeak!*
"How is this my fault? How was I supposed to know being a Superhero was so dangerous and that we'd get captured..."
"Besides, if we're being honest, you were the one who encouraged me to use my Super Strength to help more people."
"Squeak, squeak..."
"What do you mean you're just a squirrel..."
Well, judging from the exchange between Doreen Green and the Squirrel on her shoulder, it was clear she had the ability to converse with squirrels.
Taking in the sight of the girl and the Squirrel arguing, Hawkeye took a deep breath, trying his best to ignore the absurdity of the situation, and continued to remind them.
"I don't care why you're following me, but this isn't a child's game. I have my own mission, and I don't have time to babysit you."
"I don't need you to babysit me."
Hearing Clint's words, Doreen Green stopped her argument with the Squirrel, Tippy-Toe, and declared confidently.

Following Tippy-Toe's call, countless squirrels emerged from every corner and corridor of the prison. Obeying the command of the squirrel on Doreen Green's shoulder, they scurried along the electrical wires on the walls and destroyed all the nearby surveillance camera lines.
"Lost the feed in Sector B..."
"Sector C, some of the cameras in Sector C have also been damaged..."
"Dammit, who did this?!"
"I don't know. Judging from the last frame of the surveillance footage, it looked like rats."
"Rats? You expect me to believe that a swarm of rats just appeared out of nowhere and destroyed all the surveillance lines!"
"Good job, Tippy-Toe."
Watching the army of squirrels summoned by Tippy-Toe chew through all the nearby surveillance camera wires, Doreen Green praised the squirrel on her shoulder while casting an expectant gaze at Clint.
Hawkeye clearly hadn't expected that a girl like Doreen Green, who seemed a bit quirky, would possess such an incredible power.

Looking at the squirrel legion that appeared at her call, Clint's fingers instinctively tightened on his bow. Hearing a noise from the end of the corridor, he drew his bowstring and fired an Arrow, accurately striking a guard, while saying, "I need to find a place with a view outside the prison."
From his words, it was clear Clint had accepted Doreen Green's help.
"No problem, leave it to me!"

In mid-air, a sharp boomerang sliced through the thigh of a fleeing 'inmate'. A man in a black suit with a white boomerang symbol on his chest reached out and caught the returning weapon.
Shaking the blood from the boomerang, Boomerang shrugged and replied.
"Heard the commotion started in Prison Area A."
Boomerang's real name was Fred Myers. He was a former professional baseball player who was kicked out of the major leagues for taking bribes.
Later, with the help of Hydra, he obtained special, high-powered boomerangs. Combining them with his pinpoint accuracy, he became a member of the Thunderbolts.
"Area A?"
Hearing Boomerang's words, Crossbones flexed his modified arm.
His arm had been completely shattered during his previous fight with Colin. Fortunately, thanks to modifications by Hydra, it had not only been repaired but also made much stronger.
