Yushiro's demeanor shifted subtly at the sudden rise in speed of the opponent. This was no longer a curiosity... it was a threat that demanded full attention. He shaped his blood into a massive gauntlet around his arm, reinforcing it with chakra, while a slick layer of blood formed beneath his feet, allowing him to glide and maneuver freely.
He closed the distance in an instant, delivering a relentless series of strikes that battered Guy from every angle. Each blow landed with surgical precision, shattering bone and tearing flesh. Guy fought back with everything he had, landing counters fueled by desperation and indomitable spirit, but each exchange left him bleeding more heavily.
For Yushiro, the blood was an advantage. Every drop that spilled became another weapon. The battlefield turned slick and red beneath their feet, the air thick with metallic scent.
Guy felt his strength fading rapidly. He knew, with absolute certainty, that he could not win even after opening Seventh Gate. But winning was no longer the goal. Buying time was, so Kakashi could escape.
He drew a ragged breath and prepared to cross the final threshold. His muscles tore as chakra surged beyond safe limits.
"Eighth Gate," he began, voice hoarse but resolute. "Gate of Dea—"
"Not today, kid," Yushiro interrupted coldly as he sensed the same aura he witnessed which was chasing after his clan head. He understood the dangers if he allowed the opponent to unlock it any further, it would only take more time to put him down.
The blood at his feet surged upward, forming a razor-edged blade in a heartbeat. With a single, decisive motion, Yushiro slashed. Guy's words cut off mid-breath as his body was hurled backward, crashing into the shattered ground.
Silence followed, interrupted by the fading hiss of dissipating chakra.
Yushiro stood over the fallen monkey masked boy, blood slowly retracting back into controlled forms hovering around him. He looked down at Might Guy's broken body, expression unreadable.
"You were strong," he said quietly, voice carrying neither mockery nor pity. "No. You were the strongest I have fought."
The battle was over.

Kaien reached Darui just as the clash reached its brutal crescendo. He arrived only in time to witness the end. The moment burned itself into his memory that made his chest feel at ease. Might Guy, the embodiment of effort and relentless will, fell beneath Yushiro before he could use his ultimate skill, maybe it is for the best.
Kaien sighed and was grateful that Yushiro didn't play around. "Darui-san… do you have any of my sealed kunai's left?"
Darui did not look away from the battlefield when he answered. His shoulders sagged slightly. "No. I burned through everything keeping them separated and distracted." He exhaled slowly. "There's nothing left."
Then Darui continued, his tone pragmatic. "We don't have to worry anymore. One of them has fallen. It's only a matter of time before the other one follows. Samui, Mabui, Sayami, and Yushiro together… even that kitsune masked boy won't last."
Kaien nodded. Even if Kakashi awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, he would be outmatched. Chakra reserves depleted, body battered, unfamiliar with the new power of the opponents. Against the two elite opponents who specialized in blood manipulation and genjutsu, survival alone would be a miracle. Mabui and Yushiro would soon arrive and reinforce Sayami and Samui. Everything pointed toward victory.
And yet.
A knot twisted in Kaien's stomach, he could not explain it. It was instinct screaming that something was going wrong.
He shook his head sharply, as if to dislodge the thought. No. He could not afford to spiral now. He had already interfered enough overthinking would only paralyze him.

At the same time that Yushiro had clashed Might Guy, Sayami's battle had also started. She had been ordered by kaien specifically to capture the kitsune-masked boy's left eye if possible, not to kill him outright unless necessary. For Sayami, Information was more valuable for clan.
So, she had engaged Kakashi methodically, activating her Ketsuryūgan to pull him into genjutsu to get the information on konoha just like Yushiro. A horizontal crimson line glowed faintly across her pupils, blood trickling from the corners of her eyes as the genjutsu took hold. Unlike Guy, Kakashi did not immediately collapse. He resisted, gritting his teeth, chakra flaring unevenly as he fought to keep his consciousness anchored with his Sharingan.
Sayami noted this with mild interest, her Genjutsu skills were superior to Yushiro. "You're resisting quite well," she observed calmly.
Kakashi did not answer. His breathing was ragged, every inhale scraping his lungs raw. The pressure in his head was unbearable. He focused on one thing, then another, cycling through memories and sensations to prevent his mind from locking onto the illusion entirely.
Then he saw Guy.
Even through the haze of genjutsu, Kakashi caught sight of his teammate pulled into Genjutsu as he stood still infront of his opponent, his movements slowing, his stance faltering. Panic surged through him. Without thinking, he wrenched his arm free just long enough to throw a kunai, not at his opponent, but at his friend.
The kunai struck Guy from behind, drawing blood and jolting him back to reality.
Sayami's eyes narrowed. "You are quite arrogant," she said coolly, "to break your gaze away from your opponent when you are in no better position yourself."
Before Kakashi could respond, a shout echoed across the battlefield. A violent surge of aura erupted from Guy, thick and oppressive as he opened Fifth Gate: Gate of closing.
"I would worry about your teammate," Kakashi rasped, forcing the words past clenched teeth.
Sayami's expression shifted, irritation flickering across her face. She had intended to extract information slowly, through genjutsu but the situation was changing too quickly. She could no longer afford patience.
She abandoned subtlety.
Blood burst from the bottles hidden beneath her legs, forming a long, thorned whip that snapped through the air with lethal speed. Kakashi raised his lightning-coated tantō to block, sparks flying as metal met hardened blood. But the whip did not behave like a normal weapon. It split, curved, and reformed mid-motion, striking from blind angles, wrapping around his limbs, piercing his sides and shoulders in sharp, sudden bursts of pain.
