Chapter 115 - [114] Search for Sayami

The elders exchanged uneasy glances after Killer Bee asked about blood-based curses. The Chinoike clan guarded their forbidden techniques carefully, not because outsiders could easily steal them, but because the techniques themselves carried terrible requirements and consequences on themselves. Their bloodline allowed manipulation of blood through the Ketsuryūgan, yet some arts within their tradition took to many lives and such were branded as Forbidden Techniques.

One of the elders finally cleared his throat. "There is a technique," he said cautiously. "A forbidden one."

Bee's sunglasses tilted slightly as he focused. "What technique?" he asked.

The elder hesitated for another moment before answering.

"Curse Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood."

The second elder continued the explanation.

"One of our clan members, En Sayami, can use the technique. However, her mastery is incomplete as she didn't attain a very important requirement to utilize it properly, that is the user must possess immortality."

Bee remained silent and listened.

The elder continued. "En Sayami left roughly an hour and a half ago. A boy who was with Chief Advisor Renga came here asking for assistance. Our clan head carried him, accompanied by Sayami and another elite shinobi. We have not received word from them since."

Bee's mind immediately replayed the battlefield he had just left.

The ground had been marked by strange blood-based attacks. At the time, his attention had been entirely focused on Kaien's disappearance. He could not investigated the details completely as Minato has already come and taken up his attention.

Renga shifted weakly on the bed, his voice barely above a whisper... who wanted to help. "I never met them," he said slowly. "I only encountered the clan head."

Bee rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

He did not know Sayami's chakra signature, so tracking her directly would be difficult. But she had gone to assist Kumo shinobi. Which meant he could track those shinobi instead if there is someone on the mission he knows.

Bee turned toward Renga. "Tell me quick, who was in your battle crew?" he asked.

Renga answered. "Me. Samui. Mabui. Darui. And Kaien."

Bee nodded slowly.

He scratched his chin again, running through the names mentally. He had never personally met Samui. Mabui he recognized her from her occasional visits to the Raikage's office with Renga as he would sometimes bring along his Daughter. Darui he knew well and met when he was training under the Raikage.

Those chakra signatures he could track.

Across the room, Hidan's eyes had begun to shine with excitement. The moment the elders mentioned a cursed blood technique, something inside him had sparked violently. He had never awakened the Ketsuryūgan like the others in his clan, yet his control over blood techniques had always been exceptional.

The idea of a curse that could bind life and death fascinated him.

Bee rose from his seated position.

"Elder-san," he said in a bit of his style, "Yo', listen up, this border ain't safe anymore, That snake sannin slitherin', he'll be knockin' at your door. This valley's exposed, time to move, no delay,If Orochimaru finds this spot, you'll all be prey." [it is not safe for you to remain near the border anymore. Now that this location has been exposed, that snake sannin will come.]

Renga blinked weakly. "What does one of the Sannin have to do with this?" he asked.

Bee shook his head. "We ain't got time to explain the scene, Run this message straight to my bro Ay the fake Raikage king. Tell Aya-san quick, let the thunder roll mean, And Benihime-sensei gotta know what this all means." [We do not have time for explanations, You must deliver information to my brother, Aya-san, and to Benihime-sensei."]

Without waiting for a response, Bee pulled out a brush and scroll. He quickly formed several ink constructs that shaped themselves into small birds.

Each bird carried a fragment of the message. They launched upward, flying rapidly toward the Kumo. Those messages contained only the essentials: Kaien captured, arrival of chinioke clan, border exposure, prepare elite units to secure.

Bee turned to the Chinoike elders. "Yo, listen close, no deception in the tone, Your clan head and me already spoke on the throne. From this day forward, hear the protection flow... Chinoike clan now rides with Kumo, yo." ["I have already spoken with your clan leader, As of today, the Chinoike clan is under Kumo protection."]

The elders stiffened slightly at the news. "Pack what you need, don't waste no time, Dress like civilians, stay low, stay in line. Grab what is precious, leave the rest behind, Head for Kumo fast, keep danger off your mind." ["Gather everything important, Prepare to travel disguised as civilians. Move toward Kumo immediately."]

Then he looked at Renga again. "Once you can move, head west, don't stall or delay, Guide the clan to Lightning lands, that's the safer way. En Oyashiro already rolled out to meet my brother Ay, So gather up your people now and start that getaway." ["Once you can travel, lead them west into Lightning territory, En Oyashiro has already gone ahead to meet my brother Ay."]

With that, Bee turned and left the underground city. He returned to the devastated battlefield and began tracing the chakra signatures left behind.

Back at the village near Land of Hot water, before Kaien was captured.

Darui lay collapsed several meters away, his body twisted awkwardly against the ground. His breathing came in ragged, uneven bursts that barely lifted his chest. The deep wound carved across his torso stretched from shoulder to abdomen, and every slow heartbeat forced more blood to seep through the torn fabric of his clothing.

Kaien crouched behind him, his small body trembling uncontrollably as he tried to process everything that had just happened. His fingers dug into the dirt beneath him, gripping the ground as though it could somehow anchor him to life.

When Minato's blade had first flashed forward, Kaien had not even understood what he was seeing. The strike had been too fast for him to perceive. One moment Darui had stepped forward to speak, calling himself the strategist and grandson of the Raikage, and the next moment his body had split open under a single merciless slash.

Kaien's eyes widened as he watched Darui's blood spill onto the ground.

For a brief moment, something ugly and selfish had ensnared his mind. A thought he hated himself for.

'At least it was not me.' He thought
