Yep, guys, I've personified a natural disaster.
Welcome to Into the Eye of Erin, a short story inspired by current events and a quote in Jurassic World Rebirth: "When the Earth gets tired of us, believe me, it will shake us off like a summer cold." Erin is the Hurricane Erin, the first hurricane of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season, personified. I found her so fascinating that I had to do something with it!
I've always loved learning about hurricanes, even though they're so destructive and deadly, and I definitely am not sticking around for one. At the end of the day, though, looking past the death and destruction, they are incredible natural disasters. Trust me, guys—this was bound to happen one day, and it seems like today is that day!
I hope you guys enjoy Erin's story! This has Literary Fiction written all over it, and I feel it is something rarely seen in the literary world. That was why I wanted to try it.
With that said, let's join the Hurricane Hunters and dive into the eye of Hurricane Erin!
