Chapter 2109 - Ch: 48-55

Chapter 48: Thanos, Weren't You So Arrogant Just Now?!

Crack...

The tyrants blade that had accompanied Thanos through countless campaigns was effortlessly caught in Thor's hand. With the appearance of a crack, the entire weapon rapidly shattered and crumbled, turning into dust.

Thor waved his hand, smoothing out the Law of Space that had previously given him some trouble. The surrounding space instantly became his to command, transforming into one after another pale blue spatial blades that shot towards Thanos.

Thanos did not dare to underestimate this. He once again activated the Reality Stone to heal his injuries. Clenching his left fist, he threw a punch, and a pale purple energy beam swiftly collided with the spatial blades, the two forces rapidly canceling each other out in annihilation.

Thor casually hurled countless spatial blades and Law of Power energy spheres towards Thanos, forcing him to continuously retreat and defend hastily.

The three-stone Thanos was indeed powerful, but now Thor had mastered a full four complete Laws. A mere Thanos could be easily annihilated!

Thor gave Thanos no chance to catch his breath. The Law of Reality instantly materialized into a blade. In a blink, he appeared beside Thanos, raised the blade in his hand, and slashed fiercely at the other's left hand!

Thanos's reaction was incredibly swift. He immediately prepared to activate the Space Stone; the blue light on the Infinity Gauntlet's Space Stone had already lit up. However, an emerald-green Law of Time emanated from Thor, instantly enveloping Thanos's entire body.

Thanos was directly immobilized for two seconds. It wasn't long, but it wasn't short either—just enough time for Thorto effortlessly sever the opponent's hand.

Squelch...

Empowered by the Law of Power, the blade pierced through Thanos's supposedly indestructible body without any effort. The left hand wearing the Infinity Gauntletseparated from Thanos's body, floating in the cosmic void.

"Ugh... Aah..."

Thanos truly lived up to his ruthless reputation. The pain of having his hand severed only elicited a single groan. Seeing the battle was lost, he hurriedly operated his hover throne, retreating frantically backward.

Thor casually clenched his fist in the direction of Thanos's escape. A pale blue spatial cage directly trapped Thanosand his hover throne within it.

He then picked up Thanos's severed hand with some distaste, pried off the three Infinity Stones, and pocketed them.

He then slowly flew towards the Thanos who had caused him some minor trouble earlier, even finding the mood to taunt, "Hey! Thanos! Weren't you so arrogant before? Didn't you keep saying you were going to bury me? Why are you so pathetic now? Prisoner Thanos?"

Thanos ignored Thor's taunts. He lowered his head to look at his severed wrist. His purple face showed no fear, only a cold calmness. His voice was low and hoarse:

"I have witnessed the ends of countless Planets, yet I never calculated I would fall at the hands of a God of Thunder who commands multiple Laws."

"You are strong, Thor. Stronger than Odin, closer to the Truth than any deity I have ever seen."

"But remember—balance will not end with my death."

"One day, the Universe will return to desolation. All you protect will ultimately return to nothingness."

"You have won the present, but you cannot win Eternity."

Swish—!

Thor granted this cosmic overlord his final dignity, waiting until he had finished his last words before beheading him.

"Sigh, I'm still too kind-hearted. I can't bear to see suffering."

Thor sighed. Even the cosmic overlord Thanos's final curtain had to be so ceremonious.

With a gentle wave of his hand, the Law of Powerwrapped around the Law of Annihilation, rapidly annihilating the massive, three-meter-tall body, returning it to nothingness.

The Thanoses he would face in the future would only increase, not decrease. This was the first, but it wouldn't be the last. Most people hold some special memory or sentiment for their 'first time.' He reckoned this first time killing Thanos probably counted as one.

Thor looked at the hover throne quietly floating in the Universe, his eyes lighting up. If he remembered correctly, Thanos's throne was also a treasure.

Tsk tsk tsk... Is this throne really that precious? It even has its own ownership-binding mechanism, tied to Thanos's Titan bloodline. But it doesn't matter; who told him he's the one with cheats?

The omnipotent Law of Reality intervened once again, forcibly altering the hover throne's ownership-binding mechanism.

Excellent. Thanos's former private vehicle was now his exclusive property. Wait... that description doesn't seem quite right?

Forget it, forget it... Might as well give it to that kid Valeriato study. This thing isn't of much use to him now. Its flight speed is near light-speed and it can perform short-distance spatial jumps. Unfortunately, he has the Law of Space. The offensive and defensive mechanisms on it are even more dispensable to him.

Thor used the Law of Space to create a portable pocket dimension and stuffed the massive hover throne inside.

"Alright, now I'm also a man with a fourth-dimensional pocket. Hmm... Did I forget something?"

Thor floated quietly in the Universe, then suddenly remembered with a start.

Oh no!

Old Loki and Betsy were still on the Planet! He turned and looked at the planetary debris flying everywhere, falling silent for a moment.

With Old Loki there, they shouldn't be in trouble, right?!

Hmm?!

How did they get onto that donut-shaped ship?

Thor instantly amplified his perception, then his brow furrowed in surprise. Old Loki truly was Old Loki, never dropping the ball!

He silently praised The First Magician of the Nine Realms, Old Loki, in his heart, then used the Law of Space to vanish from the spot.

Meanwhile, on Thanos's donut-shaped ship, Rocket Raccoon was chasing Chitauri soldiers everywhere with his energy gun.

"Don't run, you sour radish-eating jerks! Take this blast!"

"I am Groot!"

Little Groot not only had a bamboo-copter on his head but also a small pair of wings on his back. Wielding a hammer several times his size, he followed behind Rocket, smashing one Chitauri soldier after another.

Star-Lord Peter, Gamora, and Nebula stood quietly in place, ignoring the antics of Rocket and his partner. They watched as Betsy single-handedly dominated Corvus Glaive and his partner, and Old Loki who was still sipping tea nearby.

Supergiant had been mentally counter-attacked at some point and was now hanging in the air by a thick divine shackle. Black Dwarf, whose mental resistance was zero, had long since fallen asleep. Even the Black King, who previously wore a mental shielding helmet, had been easily subdued by Old Loki, let alone this big oaf.

Ebony Maw was struggling to hold on. His pride—telekinesis, mental manipulation, and black magic—was child's play before this Loki. The opponent was even attacking him while sipping tea.

The other party simply didn't take him seriously!

He was always the one elegantly handling enemies. This was the first time he had been elegantly crushed by an enemy.

Ebony Maw, accustomed to elegance, felt such helplessness and anger for the first time. This Old Lokifrom another Universe was far too powerful, completely different from the Loki Thanos had sent to attack Earthbefore!

"Losing focus on the battlefield is not a good habit, Ebony Maw."

Old Loki's figure had somehow appeared behind Ebony Maw.

When?!

Squelch...

The sound of a blade entering flesh echoed. Ebony Mawlooked incredulously at the long blade protruding from his chest. With his dying breath, he asked unwillingly,

"Aren't you a mage?"

Hearing this, Old Loki seemed to recall some unpleasant memories and replied faintly,

"Don't forget, I was once the Nine Realms' foremost assassin."

Chapter 49: Departure! Planet Vormir

As soon as Thor boarded Thanos's doughnut-shaped ship, he saw Rocket Raccoon and Groot toying with a Chitaurisoldier.

First, Groot swung a hammer bigger than itself, sending the terrified Chitauri soldier flying with a loud 'thwack'. The soldier's body traced a perfect arc through the ship's interior before crashing toward Rocket Raccoon.

Rocket aimed its big gun at the unfortunate airborne target and pulled the trigger. One after another, pale blue energy bullets streaked toward the Chitauri soldier, riddling him with holes in the blink of an eye. The corpse slammed heavily to the floor, emitting a strange, burnt odor.

"Nice one, Groot!"

Rocket Raccoon high-fived the flying Groot, who then retracted its weapon, landed on Rocket's head, sat down, and looked toward Thor, who had just appeared.

"I am Groot!"

(Thank you, you jerk Thor!)

"Hey! You little twerp, who saved your life? Who brought you here to rescue your teammates?"

Thor immediately knew this Groot had been corrupted by Rocket Raccoon. He stepped forward and gave the little creature who had just insulted him a flick of his finger, effortlessly sending it flying.

Groot's small body tumbled through the air, only stopping when it hit a wall and slid down.

"Ahem... that... I never taught it to say stuff like that... must have been Quill..."

Seeing Thor, Rocket Raccoon instinctively backed down and immediately shifted the blame onto Star-Lord Peter. What else could it do? Facing a powerhouse capable of destroying Planets, if you didn't feel intimidated, you'd be the real powerhouse.

Before Thor could speak, Rocket scooted away, grabbed the dazed Groot, and began a long-overdue lecture.

"Groot! You little troublemaker, keep your mouth clean from now on, got it?"

"I am Groot..."

(Stop shaking me, I'm getting dizzy...)

Thor ignored the pragmatic Rocket and turned to look at Old Loki and Betsy, only then noticing the familiar-looking figures at their feet.

Well, well! If it isn't the ever-so-elegant Squidward and his teammates?

The guys who couldn't stop yapping about the will of Lord Thanos, why aren't they smiling now?

Don't they like to smile anymore?

Thor glanced at Ebony Maw's corpse and the other four members of the Black Order, who were tied up like zongzi.

Being a benevolent god, he very humanely used the Law of Annihilation to send them to meet their beloved Titanlord.

"Thor, aren't you going to kill these four?"

Betsy, seeing Thor standing still, spoke up.

Could these guys have some special use?

"No, I'm pondering a question. Should I acquire the laws of all six Infinity Stones in this Universe, or go to the Main Universe to get them? Loki, any good suggestions?"

"Thor, you're on the very cusp of reaching that level. What's there to be indecisive about?"

Old Loki glanced at Thor, enlightening him.

"Oh right, I'm about to reach single-Universe level. Does it really matter where I gain enlightenment?"

Thor smacked his forehead, waved his hand, and used the Law of Annihilation to erase the remaining four of Thanos's followers, along with their weapons.

Corvus Glaive's ability to resurrect relied entirely on his peerless blade. Without the weapon, he was truly dead.

He didn't have the good habit of sparing enemies.

"Gamora, I know you know where the Soul Stone is. Take me there, or give me the coordinates."

Thor turned to face Gamora, and as he did, he used the Law of Life to awaken Mantis and Drax.

"No." Gamora instinctively took a step back, her voice turning cold. "The Soul Stone cannot be given to anyone."

Thor simply stared at her silently.

Star-Lord Peter quickly stepped in front of her, offering an awkward smile to smooth things over. "Uh... Thor, just a moment, please."

He pulled Gamora aside and lowered his voice. "Gamora, are you crazy? He just killed Thanos! The whole Planet is gone! Do you think you can stop him?"

Gamora gritted her teeth. "But he's collecting the Infinity Stones, just like Thanos—"

"That doesn't matter, Gamora!" Star-Lord interrupted her. "Didn't you see? Thanos with three Infinity Stones was no match for him. How could we possibly stop him?"

Gamora fell silent.

Star-Lord continued, "Besides, Thanos is already dead. You don't want that damn stone to hurt anyone else, right? Give him the coordinates. He takes it, and we never have to worry about it again."

Gamora remained silent for a long time.

Then she raised her head and looked at Thor.

"Planet Vormir. I'll give you the coordinates."

Thor wasn't the least bit surprised by her choice. He nodded. "Thanks."

"Thanos!"

Drax sprang up like a carp leaping from water, holding two short daggers, his face radiating killing intent as he scanned the surroundings.

"Stop! Drax, Thanos is dead! Thor killed him!"

Seeing Drax wake up, Star-Lord Peter rushed over and blocked his path, fearing the big guy might suddenly have a brain lapse and attack Thor.

"Thanos is dead?!"

Hearing the news, Drax first froze in place. Then his gaze slowly swept over Gamora, Nebula, and Rocket. After receiving their confirming nods, his weapons clattered to the ship's floor.

His wife and child had died by Thanos's hand, and now, after he wakes up from being knocked out, Thanos has already been taken care of?!

"Who?!" Drax suddenly grabbed Peter's shoulders, his grip so strong it made Peter grimace. "Who killed Thanos?! Why didn't they wait for me?!"

"Let go, let go!" Peter slapped his hands. "It was Thor! The God of Thunder! He did it while you were out!"

Drax released his grip and turned to look at Thor.

His eyes held no gratitude, only an indescribable emotion—something like anger, yet also like grievance.

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but nothing came out.

In the end, he just turned away sullenly, picked up his weapons from the floor, walked to a corner, and sat down.

He didn't utter another word.

"Sorry, Thor. Drax is just like that. His wife and child died by Thanos's hand. He always wanted to take revenge himself, but..."

Star-Lord Peter looked at Thor with some apology, offering an explanation.

"It's fine, I understand. Groot, catch."

Thor didn't bother with the big guy's emotional state. He tossed a medallion engraved with the World Tree toward Groot.

"I am Groot?"

Groot caught the medallion, looking utterly bewildered at Thor.

"I've fulfilled my promise to you. We're leaving now. If you ever encounter danger you can't handle, just burn that medallion. I'll come."

Thor looked at the little Groot perched on Rocket's head not far away and gave his instruction.

"I am Groot!"

(Thank you! Thor!)

Groot held the medallion, which was larger than its own head, stood up, and solemnly thanked Thor.

"No problem. It was mutually beneficial, after all. At the very least, I got the Infinity Stones, right?"

Thor casually tore open a spatial portal. On the other side was the location of the Soul Stone: Planet Vormir.

"Thor, thank you for your help, for not letting Thanos take Gamora."

Star-Lord Peter Quill also offered a solemn thanks to Thor. If not for his appearance, the Guardians of the Galaxywould have been wiped out today.

"No big deal. We're off. Betsy, Loki."

Thor stepped through the portal first. Betsy glanced at this eccentric team and followed Thor's steps.

Old Loki didn't look at any of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He leisurely followed the main group, muttering under his breath:

"I hope Asgard in this Universe hasn't been wiped out."

Chapter 50: I Had a Flash of Inspiration, And It Actually Worked!

Thor and the others stepped onto the Planet named Vormir, greeted by a desolate, dark purple sky.

Black-brown barren mountains stretched endlessly, with cracked rocks and jagged edges, showing no signs of life.

The air was cold and heavy, and a faint gray-purple mist swirled among the rugged mountains.

The world was desolate and oppressive, eerily silent, as if this place never belonged to living beings, only to death, sacrifice, and the resting place of souls.

"Let's go, let's meet our old acquaintance, Captain America."

Thor gazed at the oppressive Planet and was the first to lead the way towards the tallest peak in the distance.

"So, who is Captain America?"

Betsy followed Thor. She was genuinely curious now if Thor came from a Universe similar to Valeria's.

Otherwise, why would he always know things they didn't, and even clearly know that what she once most longed for was to return to her own body?

"An American soldier on Earth, wearing a ridiculous blue clown suit, swinging around his shield with the U.S. flag on it."

Old Loki also recalled something upon hearing Thor's description and explained to Betsy.

"Then why is he called Captain America? No way, is his butt really the tightest in the U.S.?"

Betsy pressed on.

"In a sense, you're not wrong."

Old Loki walked very slowly, like a snail, and at some point, he took out his thermos cup and started drinking tea again.

"Loki, you're only 3000 years old, in your prime. Why are you living like a retired cadre?"

Thor turned to look at Old Loki, who was silently drinking tea, and complained.

"I'm not like you, Thor. You're over 5000 years old and still so energetic. Isn't it normal for a magician to have weaker physical fitness?"

Old Loki retorted without thinking. Besides, he was the God of Mischief; if he didn't appear weak to the enemy, how could he better launch a sneak attack?

"By the way, didn't you tell me before that you couldn't use Kamar-Taj's portals? Then how did I hear Betsy say that you used that flashy golden portal magic when you escaped with Groot and the others?"

Thor stared at Old Loki with a half-smile.

"Cough cough... Thor, as a mage, isn't it reasonable for me to have strong comprehension? I only barely learned it after watching you cast it a few times, and you even opened the wrong door."

Old Loki looked at Thor with an innocent expression.

If Thor didn't know this guy well enough, he wouldn't have realized he was lying. One could only say that living a long life and being the God of Mischief meant he could lie without any preparation.

As the two bickered, a hoarse, somewhat leaky, shriveled voice came from the peak.

"Thor Odinson, Son of Odin."

"Loki Odinson, Son of Laufey."

"Betsy Braddock, Daughter of James Braddock."

Betsy was the first to react, drawing her twin blades, enchanting them instantly, and vigilantly watching the black-robed figure emerging from the cave ahead. This suddenly appearing red-faced wack actually knew her biological father; such an ability was unheard of!

"Betsy, this is Red Skull, Captain America's opponent, just a minor character, essentially the guide for the Soul Stone."

Thor patted Betsy's shoulder, indicating that this guy posed no threat to them.

"Thor Odinson, whether you know me or not makes no difference to me."

Red Skull's face showed no emotion, still calmly stating.

"Since you have come for it, then follow me."

With that, Red Skull ignored their reactions, turned, and walked into the cave.

"This Stone is different from the others."

Old Loki spoke slowly, as if sensing something.

"Indeed, it's different. This Stone is relatively difficult to obtain."

Thor was the second to enter the cave.

"How is it different?"

Betsy leaned closer to Thor, asking.

"The Soul Stone has its own will.

To obtain it, you must pay a price."

"A soul for a soul."

"Sacrifice your most beloved to this abyss, and the Stone will reveal itself to you."

Red Skull's voice came from ahead, answering Betsy's question.

"No wonder there's so little information about this Stone throughout the Universe; the price is indeed quite steep." Old Loki learned for the first time that acquiring the Soul Stone had such a requirement.

"Thor, I remember you saying that in most Universes, Thanos ultimately succeeded. How did he obtain the Soul Stone?"

Betsy looked at Thor's back, her eyes flickering, wondering what he was thinking.

Thor gazed at the bottomless abyss below his feet, answering without turning his head.

"Thanos sacrificed his daughter Gamora, thereby obtaining the Soul Stone."

Betsy frowned slightly, as if she understood something, walked up to Thor, and looked up at him.

"So? Do you need me to jump down to help you?"

"After all, you gave me new life."

Her tone was calm, without any emotion, as if sacrificing herself for this was no big deal.

Old Loki leaned against the rock behind, watching the scene with interest.

It proves that when a person is speechless, they really are speechless.

Thor quietly looked at Betsy in front of him, then stepped forward and stroked her soft, purple long hair.

"Betsy, do I look like someone who would stop at nothing for power?"

"Then how do you plan to get this Stone? Besides this method?"

Betsy crossed her arms, truly not understanding how Thorintended to obtain this Infinity Stone.

"Only Law can counter Law. Let me think."

Thor walked to the edge of the cliff and, while Red Skullwas unprepared, kicked him down.

He wondered if sacrificing the guide of the Soul Stonewould work. If not, he'd have to resort to a desperate measure.

The group waited for a full dozen seconds before hearing Red Skull hit the ground. However, five more minutes passed, and still nothing happened.

"Alright, Red Skull, you're really useless. You diligently served like an ox and a horse, but your boss didn't even bother to save you."

Thor sighed, then mobilized all his divine power, activating the Law of Reality. Soon, Mjolnir, the most vivid image in his memory, appeared in his hand.

"It's still not enough. I wonder if giving Mjolnir a weapon soul would work."

It took Thor a while to restore mjolnir to its form in his memory, both in power and texture. Of course, he also created a soul for it.

"Goodbye, Mjolnir, my beloved."

Thor's face was filled with sorrow and reluctance as he raised mjolnir. After mourning for this nascent newborn for a moment, he resolutely threw it down.

Boom!

With a loud crash, Mjolnir fell into the valley, the immense sound echoing through the mountains.

However, a minute passed, and just as Thor thought he had failed again, he felt a spatial fluctuation suddenly appear, trying to forcibly pull him away.

Subconsciously, he used the Law of Space, directly nullifying this forced teleportation.

After the other party attempted forced teleportation several times to no avail, it changed to a request. Thor, perceiving this, became even more certain of his inner thought: this thing indeed possessed self-awareness.

After confirming that the Soul Stone held no malice towards him, he lowered his resistance. The next moment, he vanished from his spot and reappeared in the pond they had passed when they first arrived.

Thor slowly rose from the water, looking at the Soul Stoneglowing with orange light in his palm.

What? I just had a flash of inspiration, and it actually worked?!

This thing, it just wants the soul of a beloved, any beloved?!

It doesn't care if it's a person or not?

Chapter 51: Wanda, I'm Borrowing Your Husband

On the mountaintop, Old Loki watched Thor, who had suddenly vanished from the spot, and teased Betsy beside him, "What are your thoughts now? In his heart, his Meow-Meow Hammer seems more important than you, his 'beloved'... tsk tsk tsk."

"I wonder how he could fall for that mortal, Jane Foster, when he loves his hammer so much?"

Old Loki shook his head and, with a thought, opened a portal to the base of the mountain.

Betsy's face was calm, devoid of any expression, and her tone was as flat as if she were saying the weather was nice today.

"It's just a hammer."

She stepped into the portal without looking back.

Old Loki was stunned for a moment and followed her.

"Aren't you jealous?"

Betsy didn't turn back, tossing out a sharp and concise reply.

"He's loved his hammer for thousands of years. How long have I known him?"

She paused.

"What's the rush?"

"Interesting. No wonder Thor chose you."

Old Loki narrowed his eyes, watching Betsy's back as he followed closely behind.

"So, where are we going to get the last two stones?"

Betsy took a few steps to Thor's side, glanced at the Soul Stone emitting an orange glow in his palm, and asked.

"To a place both familiar and strange to you—this Universe's Earth."

Buzz—!

A circular portal emitting a blue light instantly sliced through space, appearing before the three of them. Thorled them into a secluded alleyway on Earth.

"Oh, so today is Thursday? I suggest we go have a Crazy Thursday meal, how about it?"

Thor walked out of the alley. On the big screen at New York's Times Square not far away, Jameson was talking incessantly, criticizing the New York public nuisance, Spider-Man. The bottom right corner of the screen displayed today's date.

"Aren't we going to find the stones first?"

Betsy couldn't quite follow Thor's train of thought. Besides, what was Crazy Thursday?

"I don't mind. I'm just here to accompany you two on a trip anyway. So, how do you plan to get money? Use the Law of Reality?"

Old Loki patted his chest, instantly transforming into a standard black-and-white suit, with a briefcase appearing in his hand—the perfect look for an elite professional.

"No, Loki, that would be overkill. It's not every day we come to America; why not experience the local specialties?"

Ten minutes later, Thor looked at the few Black guys who had been knocked out cold and spat in disgust.

"Pah! You're so poor, how do you have the nerve to come out and rob people?"

Betsy was rarely speechless. Looking at the Thor before her, who seemed like a completely different person, she massaged her forehead.

"If you want to rob someone, why not rob the gangs? How much profit could you get from these guys?"

"Hell yeah! Damn right! Betsy, you're a total genius!"

"Let's go, let's go! We're going to rob the gangs in Marvel's Newbie Village, Hells Kitchen! This is a classic check-in spot for Fanfiction!"

Betsy looked at Thor, who had suddenly become excited like a husky, and gave Old Loki a helpless look.

"Was he always like this?"

"No, maybe Surtur hammered him stupid."

Old Loki shrugged, looking like he didn't know what was going on either.

"Well, this strange train of thought reminds me of that avocado, Wade."

Betsy complained casually and was the last to step into the portal.

Hells Kitchen.

It only took Thor a minute to walk out of a warehouse, carrying two silver-white cases in his hands.

"If I remember correctly, a meal shouldn't cost this much money, right?"

Betsy raised an eyebrow.

"It was convenient. Besides, I plan to test if the money from this Universe can still be used in the Main Universe."

Thor pulled out a stack of bills and stored the two cases into his storage space.

"The reason you haven't gone to get the remaining two stones—is it because the people guarding them are very strong?"

"No, no, no, Betsy. Strictly speaking, I only need to get one more stone. I already mastered the Law of Time held by that Great Detective Holmes long ago. Later, we just need to pay Vision a visit."

"Vision? That's quite a strange name."

"Of course it's strange. He's an Intelligent life form in the truest sense, a Synthetic robot created by Tony Stark and the others."

"Similar to a Sentinel Robots?"

Betsy recalled some unpleasant memories.

"No, he's a mechanical life form in the truest sense. You can think of him as an android. Now is not the time to discuss this; I'm already a bit hungry. How about you two?"

"Whatever you say, Fat Thor."

Old Loki indicated he didn't care.

"Hey, Loki, don't think I won't beat you up just because you're an old man now."

Thor glared at Loki with great dissatisfaction. This Old Lokiwas getting more and more mischievous; he had to find an opportunity to teach him a lesson.

The three of them flashed into an alley again and walked toward the KFC across the street.

Edinburgh Old Town, Scotland, Britain.

A young couple pushed open the restaurant door and walked out, strolling along the empty street.

"Wanda, do you remember what I told you?"

The thin man in a dark brown wool coat said to the woman in a red down jacket beside him.

"I remember. You told me weeks ago that the stone started warning you. Why? Did it just ring again?"

Wanda reached out and gently caressed the man's face.

"No. In the previous weeks, the stone warned me no less than three times a day on average, but today it stopped. There was only a very slight and faint pulse just now, as if the existence that had been threatening the stone is gone."

Vision looked at Wanda with a solemn expression.

"I think I need to go see Stark."

"No, Vision. Aren't we living well now? There's no need to get involved in those crises again. The feedback from the stone is a good thing, isn't it?"

Wanda took Vision's hand in hers, stopping him from wanting to leave.

"Alright, Wanda. Maybe you're right. Let's go home."

"Mhm."

Wanda nodded gently and took Vision's arm. The two of them walked forward slowly like the most ordinary couple.

On the roof, Betsy didn't know what words to use to describe her surprise.

"Thor, you mean this woman is in a relationship with a robot?!"

"Yes! The Multiverse is full of wonders. Maybe there's even a version of you that's a cat-girl."

"Heh, then I guess there must be a Golden Shiba Inu Thunder God Thor in the Multiverse. Don't you think you're a lot like one?"

Thor didn't answer but directly used the Law of Reality to manifest furry cat ears and a tail on Betsy.

"That is the host of Chaos Magic, though she is far too weak right now."

Old Loki saw the terrifying power contained within Wandaat a single glance.

A human with power enough to subvert the Multiverse, yet she only wanted to live a plain and simple life. The human species was truly too complex.

Betsy touched her furry tail and ears, then looked at Thor. "They feel quite nice. Where's that chibi version of me from before? When did you put it away without telling me? I actually quite liked that little thing."

"Here."

Just thinking about being a big villain made him a bit excited! Snatching Vision right in front of Wanda, and then throwing him back after using him—this sounded like a lot of fun!

Thor used the Law of Reality and the Law of Elements to reconstruct the Chibi figure, which then flew onto Betsy's shoulder. He left a quick word and vanished from the spot.

"I'm going."

Wanda and Vision were about to reach their apartment when Wanda's expression suddenly turned solemn. A red light instinctively flickered in her hands as she looked around vigilantly.

"Wanda, what's wrong?"

Seeing Wanda so alert, Vision quickly scanned the vicinity. Finding no source of danger, he was about to comfort her when he found himself frozen in place, unable to move.

Thor appeared beside Vision in a flash. Using the Law of Time to freeze him, he directly stored him into the storage space created by the Law of Space, leaving behind a sentence.

"Jie jie jie... Wanda, I'm borrowing your husband. Don't worry, I'll return him to you once I'm done, hehehe...!"

Chapter 52: What do you mean Thor kidnapped Vision?

Wanda's chest heaved, filled with a huge question mark.

What? Thor suddenly appeared and kidnapped Vision? What's going on?

It can't be a prank, can it?!

Instinctively ruling out that option, Wanda quickly used her Chaos Magic to sense her surroundings, but could only detect a faint spatial fluctuation.

This sudden turn of events instantly threw her into a panic. Just as she and Vision had settled into a relatively stable life, it was abruptly shattered. The tension, panic, and worry in her heart surged out uncontrollably.

Ignoring whether anyone might see her, she immediately cast Chaos Magic, flew high into the sky, and began to sense everything in her vicinity.

However, half an hour passed, and she still found nothing. She had even circled the entire Old City several times, but couldn't find any trace of the other party.

At this point, reason finally returned. Wanda landed on a rooftop, pulled out an old button phone that had seen better days, took a deep breath, mentally prepared herself, and pressed the dial button.

"Beep beep beep..."

In New York, Tony Stark and Dr. Banner were in the Sanctum Sanctorum, which had a huge hole smashed into it, listening to Strange and Wong explain the Infinity Stones.

"Beep beep beep..."

"Alright, conjurers, can you pause for a second? I need to take a call."

Tony looked at Wanda's incoming call, a bit confused, but still interrupted Strange's explanation.

Strange frowned slightly, and the image of the Infinity Stones in the air paused accordingly.

"Hello? Wanda, where are you now? Vision is in danger!"

"What?!!! What do you mean Thor kidnapped Vision?!!! Are you sure you're not mistaken?!"

Tony glanced at Bruce Banner next to him, his eyes asking a question.

Didn't you say Thor was killed by Thanos?

What's going on now?

Banner was completely bewildered, then indicated that he didn't know either!

"You're in Edinburgh, right? Wait, I'll have this conjurer bring you over now. Wait? What do you mean Thor opened a golden, sparkling portal and returned Vision to you?!!"

Tony Stark had never received such a confusing phone call.

He looked at Strange and Wong with suspicion.

If he remembered correctly, those two used a golden, sparkling portal when they first came to him.

"Tony, I need you to confirm with her if it was indeed a round, golden, sparkling portal."

"Wanda, did you hear that? Alright, Strange, what was your name again?"

Tony looked at Strange next to him.

"Stephen Strange."

"Wanda said it was similar to the magic you two use, so?"

Before Tony could continue his interrogation, Bannersuddenly interjected.

"So, why don't we just find them and have them identify this portal?"

"Alright, as you wish."

Strange was also bewildered at this moment, but he immediately waved his hands and opened a portal to Edinburgh.

Before they even stepped through, Wanda's voice came from the other side, "That's it! It's exactly the same as the portal that brought Vision back!"

Now it wasn't just Tony who was suspicious; Banner also looked suspiciously at the Sorcerer Supreme, who claimed to protect Earth. Could it be that all these threats were created by them, and then they were left to clean up the mess?

You're not working with Thanos, are you?

"Wanda, you said Thor took Vision. Vision, is that true? What did he do to you?"

Tony asked, looking at the unharmed Vision.

"I don't know. The moment he appeared, he froze me in place, then put me into a very Strange space, and then released me again at sea."

"Thor still froze me in place, then with a look..."

Wanda hugged Vision, asking with great concern.

"Vision, keep going, what did that Thor do to you?"

Her Chaos Magic began to surge and sweep unconsciously.

Seeing that something was wrong, Strange quickly cast a calming spell on Wanda, and the trembling space around them stabilized.

"Thor looked at me with an evil expression, then seemed to wave his hand and do something to the gem on my head, and then he threw me back."

Vision's face was also filled with bewilderment. The other party not only didn't do anything to him, but didn't even harm him at all, as if this whole charade was just for fun or a prank.

"Did he really not do anything to you?"

Wanda used Chaos Magic to sense the Mind Stone on Vision's forehead.

"I'm not sure... but the other party didn't take the gem, and its functions weren't damaged."

He paused here.

"He just said one thing before he left."

"What did he say?" Tony asked.

"Thanks, buddy, I'll return you to your wife when I'm done."

...

Everyone present was even more confused. He snatched Vision, did nothing, just to say one sentence?!

Only Wanda lowered her head, her cheeks slightly flushed.

Looking at the confused, bewildered, and even perplexed Avengers in the distance, Old Loki glanced at Thor next to him:

"Thor, you have a talent for being the God of Mischief. I can already see how uneasy they will be when they meet the Thor of this Universe in the future."

Thor stood quietly in place, comprehending the Law of Soul and Law of Mind he had just fully grasped. He had now stepped into the Single Universe Level.

There were no particularly grand advancement fluctuations as described in novels; it was more like a natural progression, a very smooth crossing of this hurdle.

He scratched his head and muttered a few words of dissatisfaction.

"I thought stepping into the Single Universe Level would involve some grand spectacle? But there was nothing?!"

It was very undignified. Don't novels all say that if you swallow a golden elixir, your fate is your own, not determined by heaven?

Why didn't he feel that way?

How Strange...

"Loki, aren't you going to see the Asgard of this Universe?"

Thor casually asked.

"Asgard no longer exists. The Asgardian people of this Universe were all killed by Thanos, and we have avenged them."

Old Loki had already used magic to sense that there were basically no Asgardian people left in the entire Universe, though there were one or two scattered individuals, who, if nothing unexpected happened, would be the Thor of this Universe.

"Alright, you're right, we did avenge them. Now, are you coming back with us to the Land of Nihility first, or are you going directly to the Multiverse to help various Asgards?"

Thor didn't force Old Loki to stay, after all, it was by mentioning Asgard and poking at his old wounds that he rekindled his desire to live.

"I'll go back with you first, and stop by the Main Universeto take one last look at Frigga and Asgard."

Old Loki thought for a while and replied.

"Alright, let's go then."

Thor opened a portal to the Land of Nihility. Through the portal, he saw the distinctly cyberpunk-style city on the other side, with various suspended cars and high-speed trains passing by one after another in the sky, and he couldn't help but exclaim again.

"Tsk tsk tsk... I wouldn't be surprised if Valeria and Emmawanted to run for Earth Chief one day."

Chapter 53: Deadpool and Wolverine

"Oh shit! Paradox, you heartless son of a bitch!"

"You'd rather stab Logan wearing two Batman-kissing masks than touch me once, huh?!"

"Is this Hollywood discrimination?! Treating the main characters differently?!"

Deadpool Wade Wilson grumbled as he climbed up, but as soon as he stood straight, he froze.

"Wait, wait, wait—stop! This isn't right!"

"The script isn't written like this!"

"Logan and I should be hacking away at each other,"

"then run into Cassandra's freak henchmen,"

"then watch Human Torch brown-nosing Cassandra,"

"and finally yell 'Avengers Assemble' to wrap it up. The process is very complete, okay?!"

He stared at the Cyberpunk hellhole before him, filled with neon lights and roaring spaceships.

Holding his head in his hands, the eyes on his mask twitched; he was on the verge of a breakdown.

"What is this? Cyberpunk 2077?!"

"When did Disney buy CD Projekt Red?!"

"Changing the set, changing the plot, changing the worldview,"

"without even notifying me, the lead actor?!"

"Fox, do you people even have professional ethics?!"

"Fuck you! You red knock-off Joker, which parallel Universedid you drag me to?!"

Wolverine Logan shook his head, finally sobering up.

Seeing the ridiculously unfamiliar environment, his face instantly darkened, and all six Adamantium Clawssnapped out.

"I really don't know! This really isn't the Land of Nihilityfrom our movie!"

"Isn't the Land of Nihility supposed to be a junkyard for broken Universes?!"

"How did it turn into a Cyberpunk Night Market?!"

"This wasn't in the contract I signed!"

Wade was dumbfounded; this plot deviation was more ridiculous than his own life.

"FUUUUUCK—!"

Logan completely snapped, thrusting his claws into the ground.

Pressing his limbs down like a true Beast, he lunged straight at him.

Clang—!!

A round shield blasted through the air, slamming hard into Logan's waist.

It sent him flying, embedding him into a wall in a spread-eagled shape.

Two hover-motorcycles descended from the sky, landing slowly.

Captain Hydra, Winter Soldier, and Madame HydraOphelia lined up.

The Captain used a magnetic pull to retrieve his shield, his gaze cold as a blade.

"Routine investigation. Cease resistance. Which Universeare you from? Why were you thrown in?"

Wade didn't listen to a word he said; instead, he squinted and leaned in to scrutinize the other's face.

The next second, he let out a high-pitched scream that cracked:

"Look who it is! Chris Evans! It's really you!"

"A HYDRA version of Captain America!"

"Wait, aren't you supposed to play the Human Torch and then get skinned by Cassandra?!"

"Sneaking out to take side jobs, are we?!"

"You took a fancy to my perfect ass and want to spank me with those baby-sized arms, don't you?!"

Deadpool intentionally wiggled his butt at Captain Hydraand blew a whistle.

"Bastard! Are you with this lunatic?!"

Logan crawled out of the wall, spat out blood, his eyes looking like he wanted to eat someone.

"We are the Frost City Security Force."

"Private fighting is prohibited in the city; if you want to fight, go to the arena," Captain Hydra said indifferently.

"Catching me for experiments? Come and try if you have the guts."

Logan lunged again.

The Winter Soldier raised his gun, and a blue energy field instantly descended.

It trapped Wolverine tightly inside, his roar turning into a muffled thud.

Bucky turned his muzzle toward Wade.

"You resisting too?"

"No no no no! Don't, don't, don't! I don't know him well! Really!"

Deadpool's hands went up faster than anyone's, selling out his teammate on the spot.

"Who would want to team up with a Wolverine wearing a Batman-kissing mask? Especially since he's the most tragic, unluckiest, and most unloved version in the entire Multiverse."

"Batman... kissing?"

Ophelia raised an eyebrow, thought of something, and immediately dialed a terminal:

"Laura, your dad is here. The Wolverine Thor mentioned has arrived."

"Thor?! He knew we were coming?!"

Wade instantly took off from the spot, his voice sickeningly sweet, eyes starting to sprout hearts.

"Asgardian Thor? Thunder God Thor? The power ceiling of the Avengers?!"

"It's the Thor I know, right?!"

He grabbed Ophelia's hand, trembling with excitement.

"Quick, tell me! Where is Thor?"

"I can already see myself dying in his arms, while he cries his heart out!"

"That would be the highlight of my life, the most romantic, the most Marvel ending ever!"

"You know Thor?" Ophelia finally showed some interest.

"More than just know him! This means I'm destined to join the Avengers in the future!"

"That damn Happy still tried to stop me!"

"Once I'm in, the first thing I'll do is kick him out of his position as Tony's bodyguard! He's incompetent as a director anyway!"

Wade suddenly puffed out his chest, raised his head, his expression becoming incredibly holy as he spoke solemnly:

"I am Marvel Jesus."

He raised his hand and snapped his fingers coolly—

Snap!

The Winter Soldier didn't even blink, slapping a mask directly over his mouth with a "thwack," physically silencing him.

"Mmph mmph mmph—!!"

"Bucky, I wasn't finished asking about Thor," Ophelia said, dissatisfied.

"He's too noisy," Bucky said coldly, his face expressionless.

"Take them away. Detention cell."

Captain Hydra ordered, took out a pistol, and shot at both Deadpool Wade and Wolverine Logan, instantly shrinking them to the size of ants, then covered them with a bottle and tucked it away.

Then, the three of them soared into the sky on their hover-motorcycles, heading west toward the detention cell.

The central building of Frost City, the White House.

Thor had just tossed the five Infinity Stones and Thanos's Floating Throne to Valeria and arrived here with a flash.

Emma, truly Emma. This city was named after her own surname; talk about narcissistic.

Before even entering Emma's office, he heard roar after roar coming from inside.

"Raven! How many times have I told you? The Ecological Park in the North District must be completed within a week! How did you guarantee it to me?"

"The Groots aren't listening?! I don't want excuses! I only want results. Send me the specific plan by tomorrow, you hear me?"

"Bruce! I told you to maintain the security of the South District's Fighting Arena every day. What was with yesterday's riot? They won't listen? If they won't listen, release the Hulk! This is my city, and things must go by my rules!"

Thor quietly pushed open the door and saw Emma Frost, who was currently ranting.

"What? Now you know to come back? Where's Betsy?"

Emma glanced at the entering Thor and asked.

"Valeria is testing her physical data. Emma, you're a natural-born manager!"

Thor praised her sincerely.

Anyway, he couldn't manage things and was too lazy to try; wasn't it a good thing to have someone as free labor?

"Aren't you surprised? All of this—for example, the name of this city—I took the liberty of deciding without your consent."

Emma rested her legs on the desk, picked up a teacup nearby, took a few sips, and spoke seemingly casually.

"You're managing it so well; isn't it normal to use your surname?"

"This is your contribution and honor; why would I steal it? Besides, this is our shared Base, our shared home, isn't it?"

Emma listened quietly, stood up, walked to Thor, and reached out a finger to tilt his face up.

"Thor Odinson, you didn't come to see me this time just to give me a few compliments, did you?"

"Didn't you say before that you wanted a dedicated enhancement plan? A unique one. I've now completely mastered the laws of the six Infinity Stones, so it depends on what kind of enhancement plan you want."

Emma narrowed her eyes slightly, sized Thor up for a few moments, then stepped back, returned to her exclusive seat, and looked at Thor as she issued an order to leave.

"Fine, I got it. Come to my manor tonight. Don't disturb my work now."

Chapter 54: Hulk-Style Express Delivery

"What? Did Emma kick you out?"

Betsy, leaning against the doorframe outside Frost City's mayor's office at some point, teased Thor as he walked out.

"Was Valeria's examination finished that quickly?"

Thor was completely used to Betsy's ghostly appearances. He wondered if it was due to merging with that Japanese ninja's memories—her footsteps were utterly silent, as if she had a stealth mode activated.

If he weren't constantly using his mental perception to sense his surroundings, he might have actually been startled.

One had to admit, the Japanese stealth techniques had their little tricks, though not many.

"To be honest, I was finished the moment you left. She just used a small device, scanned me with it, and that was it. Then she told me not to disturb her Infinity Stonesresearch and kicked me out."

Betsy shrugged, as if to say 'that's just how mad scientists are.'

"Alright, you're right. If we're talking about a normal scientist's physical endurance, someone researching like that would have keeled over long ago. Unfortunately, this isn't a place that operates entirely on science."

Thor nodded. When mad scientists go mad for research, they truly go all out.

He wondered how Valeria managed to find time to build this city into what it is, given her insane daily workload.

She was practically the ultimate workhorse saint!

Calling her schedule '007' would be an insult!

"Thor, wait for me a moment. I have a little something to discuss with Emma."

Betsy cracked her knuckles. Now that she was finally stronger than Emma, how could she not take the chance to thoroughly humiliate her?

Just thinking about what was about to happen made the corner of her mouth curl up involuntarily. She let out a weird chuckle, walked in, and slammed the door shut with a bang.

Such deep sisterly affection!

Though he really wanted to see if two women fighting would actually pull each other's hair, for the sake of someone's pride, he decided to let it go.

If he went in to watch the show, Emma would probably explode with rage for real.

Half an hour later, Betsy walked out, tidying her slightly disheveled hair, looking refreshed and invigorated.

"Elizabeth Becky Braddock————!"

Bang!

Acting as if she hadn't heard, she casually shut the door on someone's roar, then turned to look at Thor.

"Let's go. If we don't leave now, she might really blow a fuse."

"I think you've already blown her fuse, haven't you?"

Thor idly twirled Mjolnir in his hand.

He had no idea what Emma was thinking. In a storage room not far from her office, she had filled it with mjolnirs—Thor's hammers.

Some were perfectly intact, some were shattered to pieces, and there was even a macho-pink Meow-Meow Hammer.

The thought of a parallel Universe version of himself wielding a hammer of that color in battle sent an involuntary shiver down his spine.

It was utterly terrifying!

He could already vividly imagine the scene: during a battle between two armies, a Thor wielding a pink Mjolnir steps forward, successfully laughs the enemy to death, and clears the stage without a scratch.

This Emma! How dare she covet him so blatantly? She really deserves a beating!

He'd show her tonight how to properly discipline this outdated tsundere, Emma!

"Let's go."

"Where are we going?"

"Thor, you're not getting forgetful in your old age, are you? Where else? On a date, of course!"

Betsy had only taken a few steps before turning back, shooting Thor a dissatisfied look. She grabbed his hand and pulled him outward.

Outside the White House, beside an impeccably manicured lawn, a young adolescent Groot was leisurely trimming flowers, occasionally tossing a seed or two into the soil to rapidly cultivate them—a top-tier gardener through and through.

"You have to admit, Emma is really suited for business. Such a brilliant mind going to waste would be a shame."

As Thor and Betsy passed by Groot, the little tree gave them a friendly greeting.

"I am Groot!"

Soon, the two reached the streets. Dazzling neon lights flashed, with hovercars, hovercrafts, and high-speed trains occasionally zooming overhead.

Rows of poplar trees lined both sides of the street, with a long stretch of greenery running down the center. Every now and then, a Groot could be seen diligently at work.

On a huge screen in the square, a host was excitedly shouting:

"Today is a special day for Frost City! Ladies and gentlemen! Tonight, we will witness the most anticipated championship battle in history: our undefeated 30-win Q-version Hulk versus the 50-win, 2-loss Superman-Wolverine Logan!"

"Odds will be revealed tonight! Right now, all it takes is one thousand Frost to place your bet! What are you waiting for? Vote for your favorite contender now!"

After watching the advertisement looping on the big screen, Thor turned to Betsy beside him and couldn't help but Make complaints.

"Frost coins. The city's named that, and the currency is too. Emma has completely turned this place into her personal stronghold!"

"That's Emma Frost for you. Clearly, compared to fighting and killing, she prefers being a proper city mayor, doesn't she?"

Betsy wasn't particularly fazed. Having been teammates, they understood each other well. This was exactly the sort of thing the White Queen would do.

"Betsy, I have a feeling this place is only going to get livelier and livelier from now on."

"Thor, look over there." Betsy suddenly pointed at a red giant not far away.

"'Hulk-Style Express Delivery'?! Don't tell me this is Emma's doing too?"

Thor followed Betsy's finger. About a kilometer away, a red giant roughly three meters tall stood in place. Next to it was a large sign that read: 'Hulk-Style Express Delivery' in bold letters.

"This doesn't seem like Emma's style. Probably a small business they organized themselves. One hundred Frostper ride."

Betsy pulled Thor closer. Several people were already queuing up there. She even spotted a Wolverine Loganwho was only about one and a half meters tall?!

"Hey! Beautiful lady, is there somewhere you'd like to go? For just one hundred Frost, we'll deliver you accurately to your destination!"

Thor and Betsy looked at the female salesperson who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. She was robustly built, standing about two meters tall, and wore a paintblack deep V-neck bodysuit.

Most strikingly, her skin was exactly the same shade of red as the Red Hulk beside her.

"Betty! Come give me a hand! The queue's a bit long, I can't handle it alone!"

The Red Hulk, General Ross, shouted toward the female salesperson.

"Sorry! Please wait a moment, you two. I'll help my father and be right back."

The female Red Hulk, Betty Ross, acknowledged, apologized to Thor and Betsy, then jogged over.

"This Land of Nihility is just too chaotic. Having a Red HulkGeneral Ross is one thing, but why on earth is Dr. Banner's girlfriend also a Hulk? Really eye-opening!"

Once again, Thor witnessed the diversity of the Multiverse.

"You know them?"

"Yes. One's the Hulk's girlfriend, the other's the Hulk's father-in-law."

"Wait! Then why are they red? I remember the Hulk being all green."

"I'd like to know that too. I have a feeling we're going to see multicolored Hulks running around the streets in the future."

Thor and Betsy watched General Ross and Betty not far away. They saw them attach thin metal plates to the chests of the people in line. In moments, the plates rapidly transformed into nanometer particles, forming silver-white armor that enveloped each person.

"Bronski! Banner! Two customers heading to the southern district! Clear the aerial route! And... catch!"

The Red Hulk, General Ross, shouted into his personal terminal. After receiving confirmation, he grabbed one of the people clad in nanometer armor beside him, hoisted them onto his shoulder, took a running start for momentum, and hurled them forcefully toward the south!

Watching the person rapidly shrink to a tiny black dot in the sky, Thor and Betsy finally understood why it was called 'Hulk-Style Express Delivery'—it was quite literal!

After Betty and Ross finished hurling ten customers in succession without even panting, they turned to Thor and Betsy with standardized smiles:

"Sir, ma'am, where would you like to go? Just one hundred Frost guarantees delivery to your destination, definitely faster than hovercrafts or hovercars!"

Chapter 55: Isn't This Qi Guan Chang Hong?

"South District, two people. Scan the code."

Betsy glanced at the rules, her lips curling imperceptibly. Clearly, she found this crude and direct way of playing quite interesting. Without hesitation, she raised her hand and paid using her Personal Terminal.

"Um... I don't think this is necessary, right? Can't I just open a portal to get us there?"

Thor refused. Although this experience would certainly be novel, he'd rather pass. This really didn't fit his style as the Thunder God Thor!

"Thor, this is date time. So, you have to listen to me. Besides, the money has already been paid."

Betsy shook the Personal Terminal on her wrist. This kind of novel dating experience couldn't be found on Earth. She grabbed Thor, giving him no chance to refuse.

"Ma'am, we need you to put on some armor now to avoid injury."

Betty walked over holding a small metal piece.

"No need. My body has been enhanced; I'm not that fragile."

Betsy refused to put on the Nano Suit. She was no ordinary person now.

"Ma'am, I suggest you put it on. Not everyone is like us; if the customer experience is poor or if someone gets injured, we'll end up in court."

"Then why aren't you making him wear it?"

Betsy pointed at Thor beside her.

"Ma'am, Thunder God Thor's physical constitution is well-known. It doesn't matter if he wears it or not. But in your case, we suggest you put it on. I don't want to be giving money to those two unscrupulous lawyers, Jennifer and Matt."

General Ross also walked over to persuade her.

"General Ross, Betty, don't worry. Betsy's physical constitution isn't much worse than yours. And even if she gets hurt in a fall, I can resurrect her."

Hearing this, Betsy gave Thor a very dissatisfied glare.

"Resurrection?!" General Ross lowered his head in thought for a moment before looking at Thor. "So you're that City Lords Wife, the Thunder God Thor who dealt with Cassandra?!"

"? Wait! Explain exactly what you mean by 'City Lords Wife'?! Who said that?!"

This time it was Thor's turn to snap. What on Earth?

How did he become the City Lords Wife? He was a man, for crying out loud!

Emma Frost! You are so dead tonight! Even if you beg for mercy, I won't let you off!

General Ross and Betty vaguely felt the surrounding air pressure begin to drop as space gradually solidified. The sky, which had been clear just a moment ago, was instantly covered in dark clouds, and thunder roared.

"Cough... That was personally admitted by the City Lord, Emma Frost, just a week ago."

Seeing that the atmosphere was not right, General Rossquickly spoke up.

Betsy's lips quirked up sharply, the amusement in her eyes impossible to suppress, her voice carrying undisguised playfulness: "Thor, it seems Emma knows how to have fun better than I do. What do you think?"

The bulging veins on Thor's forehead clearly showed that his heart was anything but calm right now.

After a minute of cooling down, he spoke to General Ross.

"Send us over."

General Ross quickly nodded in agreement. As for what the truth actually was, that wasn't something he should care about.

And so, launched by General Ross and Betty, Thor and Betsy quickly soared into the sky, flying toward the South District at an astonishing speed.

Boom!

With a loud bang, the two of them crashed heavily onto a patch of sand, right next to Dr. Banner and AbominationBronski.

"Thor, if you walk forward for a kilometer, you'll find the South District's Fighting Arena. You can book a spot in advance; tonight's match is sure to be exciting."

The honest Dr. Banner introduced them while scratching the back of his head.

"Thank you, Banner. We will."

Thor looked at the Dr. Banner who appeared in Avengers4, nodded in acknowledgment, and then pulled Betsyforward.

"Thor, I think that green big guy was right. I've already bought the tickets. There are still three hours before the match starts at 8 PM. How do you plan to spend them with me?"

Betsy stopped in her tracks, turning her body to look at Thor, her eyebrows raised slightly.

"Didn't you say everything was up to you? Then I'll follow your arrangements, Betsy, Your Highness."

Thor teased, looking at Betsy's current expression.

"Alright then, Thor. How about we go somewhere quiet with fewer people?"

"Of course, whatever you say."

"Since you're being so obedient, how about you stay with me tonight and not go looking for that workaholic Emma?"

"That... isn't impossible, it's just that Emma is quite hard to appease, you know."

Upon hearing this, Betsy's lips curled into a very faint, cold smile. Her voice was as light as the wind, yet every word was clear: "So it turns out that with you, I still have to rank behind her."

Thor reached out his hand, gently supporting the back of Betsy's neck to draw her closer, looking into her eyes with a sincere gaze.

"Betsy, you are you, and Emma is Emma. There has never been any ranking. You are the one and only Elizabeth Becky Braddock. As long as you need me, I'll be there."

"You say such pretty words, but it's not like I don't know you. You were already thinking about other women on our first day together..."

Betsy moved her body to the side, putting some distance between them, her eyes filled with disdain.

"Let's go. Didn't you want to find a quiet place? I'll stand Emma up tonight and only accompany you, how about that?"

Thor stepped up and took Betsy's hand.

Betsy gave a slight struggle, but when she didn't break free, she stopped moving.

She walked forward two steps and tilted her head slightly. A very faint smile flashed through her eyes, so quick it was almost invisible: "Smart move. As for Emma, let her keep herself busy."

With that, she took the lead, guiding him toward a secluded and hidden Quiet Bar.

"Welcome! What would you two like to drink?"

A dry, cold, somewhat low-pitched yet energetic young male voice came from behind the bar.

Thor looked toward the source of the voice.

A young man walked out, dressed in a martial artist's attire. His upper body featured a teal sleeveless martial arts suit with a striking red-bottomed gold-patterned Taiji design embroidered on the chest. The collar and shoulder lines were trimmed with crimson piping, making the firm and powerful lines of his shoulder and back muscles stand out.

His arms were wrapped in dark gold bracers from the wrists to the forearms, with fine tassels hanging from the edges that would sway slightly with his movements.

His lower body consisted of matching teal wide-leg pants with gold geometric patterns embroidered on both sides. The cuffs were tucked into dark brown high-top combat boots, the surfaces of which showed signs of wear, clearly indicating they were a style that had seen much combat.

A bright yellow headband was tied across his forehead, and a matching mask covered half his face, leaving only a sharp jawline and a tight lip line visible. His black hair stood on end, carrying a touch of arrogant edge.

Thor took in the other person's outfit and couldn't help but feel amused.

Oh, isn't this the 68th Generation Iron Fist, Qi Guan Chang Hong?

All old acquaintances!
