Chapter 72: Needing to Calm Down After the Movie
The movie screen in front of everyone continued to play.
From Sokovia being reduced to ruins, to Tony and Stevefighting fist-to-fist in the Siberian Base, from Thanossnapping his fingers on Titan, to Tony, a mere mortal, enduring six Infinity Stones in the End Game, and then to the Skrulls secretly infiltrating, and that little girl Ironheartmaking a boisterous debut...
All futures were completely shoved in everyone's faces by Thor using the Law of Reality.
The last frame of the picture froze on the Darkhold Templecollapsing into a pile of rubble.
The lights on the top floor of Avengers Tower came on, the power that bound everyone dissipated, and the custom seats under their butts were gone.
Only a scattering of snack wrappers remained, along with the heavy breathing of the group.
Tony was the first to move.
He rubbed his temples, pushed his sunglasses to the top of his head, and forced a smile uglier than crying, his voice trembling:
"Alright. So my whole life, I'm either disarming bombs or on my way to making them, huh?"
He took two steps forward, pointing his finger in the air as if jabbing at those messed-up events:
"In the future, I'll have a brain fart and create Ultron, an AI that wants to wipe out humanity; there's a purple potato floating in the Universe, and with a snap of his fingers, half the Universe is gone; and there's a God baby hidden in Earth's core, ready to blow up the planet when it's born?"
"Nick Fury and Captain Marvel's mess, the Skrulls even infiltrated the White House and replaced Rhodes!"
The more he spoke, the angrier he got:
"Motherfucker! What broke me the most? I risked my life to snap my fingers, and my successor isn't Rhodes, isn't Peter, but some black girl who popped out of nowhere? And a criminal at that!"
Tony stared intently at the image of Ironheart on the screen, his eyes wishing he could pluck that girl right out of it.
"Tony." Steve frowned and stepped forward, "These are just possibilities for the future. We still have time to change them. It's not right for you to curse a girl you've never met like this right now."
These words were like lighting a fuse.
Tony spun around abruptly, glaring at Steve, not even calling him "Old Popsicle" anymore, every word squeezed out through gritted teeth:
"Steve? I considered you a friend, a comrade in arms, yet you knew my parents' deaths weren't an accident, you knew your good brother Bucky did it, and you kept it from me for decades?"
Steve's face paled a bit, and he instinctively reached out to explain:
"From Dr. Zola's files back then, I only knew that Howardand Maria's deaths weren't a car accident, but I didn't know Bucky was the one who did it. Tony, he was controlled by HYDRA at the time—"
"Controlled?" Tony interrupted him directly, "So when he pulled the trigger, his hand wasn't his? When my parents lay in a pool of blood, his eyes weren't watching?"
He raised a finger and pointed at Loki, who was watching the show with an amused expression.
"You're even worse than this Bambi who always wants to stab his brother. He ultimately sacrificed his life for the Multiverse. What about you? Just because you made one selfless sacrifice, you're entitled to harbor selfish secrets for the rest of your life?"
Steve lowered his head, his shoulders slumped: "It's my fault, Tony. Even if this hasn't happened yet, I should apologize to you."
"I don't want your apology! Nor do I want to go kill your assassin friend right now!" Tony pointed at the elevator entrance, "Three days, Steve, I'll give you three days to bring him to me. I want to hear with my own ears how he did it back then."
Steve tried to say something else, but Tony turned his back directly and made a stopping gesture.
"No more talking, now, disappear from my sight immediately."
Carter stepped forward, patted Steve's shoulder, and followed him silently towards the elevator.
The Black Widows exchanged glances, then followed with Hawkeye and Iron Fist.
The top floor instantly became half empty.
Remaining were Thor, Tony, Banner, Wanda, Pietro, and the Main Universe's Thor, Jane, Loki, as well as Old Loki, who was always holding his thermos.
Old Loki slowly took a sip of tea, then looked up at Thorand smiled:
"So that's why you said those things to that Loki in the Land of Nihility?"
Thor raised an eyebrow, nodded, and his gaze swept over the stiff Main Universe Loki beside him:
"Yes. Some people need to know that they can live happily because someone else is bearing the burden ahead."
"What's more, his actions are worth remembering by everyone, aren't they?"
Old Loki chuckled softly, took another sip of tea, and rubbed his fingertips against the thermos:
"Perhaps you are right, Thor. Loki's throne was never in Asgard."
As these words fell, Loki next to him suddenly looked up, his eyes full of shock.
He had spent his entire life vying with Thor for the throne of Asgard, spent his entire life proving he was stronger than Odin's biological son.
Yet, what shocked him most were two versions of himself from the Multiverse.
He opened his mouth, wanting to say something sarcastic, but found his throat seemed to be blocked. In the end, he just turned his face away, pretending to look at the New York skyline outside the window, but his fingertips were trembling.
The Main Universe Thor beside him looked as if his soul had been sucked out, his hands tightly clutching the pink Meow-Meow Hammer.
He saw Hela crush his hammer with one hand in the movie, saw Asgard destroyed by Surtur, saw himself lose his mother, his father, his brother, half his people, and finally turn into a drunkard with a beer belly.
Jane stood beside him, her face no less shocked.
She saw herself contract cancer, pick up Mjolnir to become Mighty Thor, and ultimately sacrifice her life to save Asgard.
She looked down at her hands, then at the hammer in Thor's hand, filled with mixed emotions.
Banner completely ignored the argument, pushed up his glasses, his eyes gleaming:
"Jennifer... became She-Hulk because she received my blood? So, Hulk's Gamma Radiation can be stably transmitted?"
Pietro transformed into a silver flash, instantly circling to Thor's side, leaning against the wall, his tone full of eagerness:
"So there are so many strong fighters in the future? Thanos, Ultron, Celestials... sounds much more interesting than HYDRA's cannon fodder."
Thor rolled his eyes internally.
Don't worry, with your strength, even after I've enhanced it, you'll still be a nobody.
But he didn't say it out loud, merely patted his shoulder: "Don't rush, you'll have plenty of opportunities to run yourself ragged."
Wanda leaned against the floor-to-ceiling window, looking as if all her strength had been drained, her eyes filled with bewilderment.
In the movie, she saw her brother's death, her love with Vision, saw Vision die twice, saw herself turn into the Scarlet Witch for two children created by magic, cross the Multiverse to slaughter countless lives, and finally be buried in the collapsed Darkhold Temple.
She raised her hand and looked at her palm, the unsettling Chaos Magic flickering at her fingertips, her voice trembling:
"Is this me? Will this power... bring me so much misfortune?"
Thor walked over, his voice much softer:
"Wanda, power is neither good nor bad. What determines whether it's used to save or kill is never the power itself, but the person who wields it. You became like that only because you lost all your support and were seduced by the Darkhold."
"Now you have me, and the Sorcerer Ancient One from Kamar-Taj. She's lived for hundreds of years and has seen more magic than you've had meals. She won't let you reach that point."
Wanda looked up at him, the moisture still in her eyes, and nodded gently, her voice hoarse:
"Thank you, Thor. I want to be alone for a bit."
With that, she pushed open the adjacent emergency exit door and walked out.
Pietro didn't say much, nodded to Thor, and followed her as a silver flash.
The top floor finally became quiet.
Tony leaned against the bar, poured himself a full glass of whiskey, and downed it in one gulp, the anger on his face finally dissipating significantly.
He looked up at Thor: "You said before that these were things that happened in your Universe, right?"
Thor raised an eyebrow, walked to the bar, and grabbed a soda for himself: "Yeah, what about it?"
"So, by showing us all this, do you want us to figure things out on our own, or do you plan to personally step in and help?" Tony swirled his glass.
Thor waved his hand without thinking:
"You guys definitely have to solve it yourselves. I've spoiled the entire script for you, marked all the minefields. If you still step into them, that's just inexcusable."
He paused, then added with a smile:
"Of course, unless you encounter problems that you absolutely can't solve—like Dormammu charging in with the Dark Dimension, or the Celestials smashing into Earth. For problems of that magnitude, I might consider intervening."
"And honestly, you now have a Banner who can knock out Hulk with one punch, and you, who's taken an improved Super Soldier Serum. Your combat power ceiling is already here; you won't be weak."
Tony chuckled self-deprecatingly, swirling his glass:
"Ivan Vanko's incident taught me a lot, and Extremisopened up a new path for me, so I just improved the Super Soldier Serum. Plus, I discovered something good—my body got stronger, but my brain actually works faster. That's a huge benefit for my research, isn't it?"
Thor looked at him, then suddenly spoke in a serious tone:
"Tony, you owe me a Nano Suit."
Tony almost dropped the glass in his hand:
"What are you talking about? A Nano Suit? I haven't even drawn the blueprints for that yet, so how do I owe you one?"
Thor counted on his fingers:
"I've spoiled all the crises for the next decade or so for you, helped you avoid countless death traps, and even went to the trouble of using the Law of Reality to make it into a 3D movie, even preparing your favorite snacks. So, doesn't that credit earn me a Nano Suit that hasn't even been developed yet?"
He raised an eyebrow and added:
"To be honest, that little brat Valeria can whip up a Nano Suit at will. But I think one personally developed by you, Tony Stark, would be more memorable."
Tony stared at him for two seconds, then suddenly laughed, finishing the remaining whiskey in his glass and shaking his head:
"You have much better taste than this 'Point Break' protagonist who only knows how to swing a hammer."
"Fine, isn't it just a Nano Suit? Once I develop it, the first one is reserved for you."
Chapter 73: The Million-Star Bomb on Earth
Tony had just finished speaking when Dr. Banner, standing beside him, suddenly pushed up his glasses and swiped twice on the virtual light screen in front of him.
The footage Jarvis had recorded throughout was instantly pulled up, freezing on the man in the Thunderboltswearing a golden uniform with no logo on his chest, but instead having the'S' logo on his belt.
The light screen was pulled directly in front of Tony and Thor. Banner's voice carried a hint of the curiosity and gravity unique to researchers: "Tony, Thor, look at this. Valentina said he's Earth's strongest hero, codename Sentinel. Thor, do you know him?"
Tony only took one glance before scoffing, shaking the empty wine glass in his hand. "Heh, since when did Superman stop putting the'S' on his chest and move it to his belt? Did someone from DC come to our Universe for a visit?"
He tapped the light screen with his fingertip, and Jarvisimmediately listed the analysis of Sentinel's abilities. Tonyscanned it and added with a raised eyebrow, "Teleportation, flight, invulnerability, superhuman physique, unknown power ceiling... aside from lacking heat vision, freeze breath, and that miraculous bio-field, he's a carbon copy of Superman."
The smile on Thor's face faded, his tone carrying a rare solemnity as he glanced at the man on the screen. "To be honest, this guy is one of the most unstable factors on Earth, on par with Wanda before she mastered her Chaos Magic."
He paused, laying out the man's entire background: "His real name is Robert Reynolds, nicknamed Bob. He looks decent enough, but hidden inside him is the power of a million exploding Suns."
"What's more troublesome is that his childhood trauma gave birth to a second personality called the Void. It's much stronger than the host and completely uncontrollable—you can think of it as a dark version of the Hulk with cosmic-level power."
As soon as these words came out, the smile on Tony's face vanished instantly. He snapped his head toward Thor, eyes wide. "Wait, what did you say? The power of a million Suns? You're not joking with me?"
He leaned forward a couple of steps, his voice full of disbelief. "Do you have any idea what the concept of a million Suns' power is? A single star going supernova could directly wipe out the entire Solar System until not even dust remains."
"A million?!! If this guy really has that power, he could flick a finger and Earth wouldn't even have ashes left!"
Thor didn't answer him directly, silently rolling his eyes in his mind.
You shouldn't be asking me that; you should be asking the Marvel Editorial Department.
This crappy setting was something they came up with on a whim. Who knows what magnitude the power of a million Suns actually is.
But out loud, he replied solemnly, "Anyway, in most Universes, that's basically his setting. His floor is already the ceiling for most of Earth's superheroes. As for his ceiling... you wouldn't want to see it."
Jane Foster, who had been standing aside silently, suddenly walked over. Her brow furrowed as she asked, "Then do we have any corresponding countermeasures? Like how Superman is afraid of Kryptonite, is there anything that can restrain him?"
Thor shook his head and gave a blunt answer: "No. This thing doesn't have a natural nemesis like Kryptonite. If I had to say, only his own Void personality can suppress him, but letting that thing out is even scarier than his main self going crazy."
Banner pushed up his glasses, his expression growing more solemn as he looked at Thor. "Then if... this guy really loses control and goes crazy on Earth, if I and the Thor of our Universe team up, could we stop him?"
Thor rubbed his chin and thought for a long time before finally shaking his head honestly, spitting out two words: "Unlikely."
Hearing this, Tony's head began to throb again. He rubbed his temples and looked at Thor. "So you've spoiled the entire future for us; surely there must be a corresponding solution?"
"So, to summarize: in the future, we not only have to guard against Ultron, Thanos, the Celestials, and the Skrulls, but we also have to deal with a teammate who is ridiculously strong, mentally unstable, and could go rogue and blow up the Earth at any moment? Is that what you're saying?"
Thor thought for a moment and nodded very candidly. "Your analysis is spot on. Actually, the best solution is for someone to directly crush him in combat power, so he doesn't even get the chance to go crazy."
Tony wouldn't give up and pressed further, "Besides brute force, is there no other way? For example, finding a weakness or just killing him once and for all?"
Thor shook his head again, looking helpless. "Forget it. In most Universes, this guy is basically immortal. He can resurrect on the spot even if he dies—a pure rule-level bug. Even if you blow him into molecules, he can piece himself back together."
Tony stared at Sentinel's face on the light screen for two seconds, then turned to Dr. Banner with an incredibly serious tone. "Banner, I think we need to start a new project—the Anti-Sentinel Armor Plan."
Banner took a deep breath and nodded without hesitation, his eyes full of agreement. "I agree. This guy's threat level is more ridiculous than Ultron and Thanos combined. We must prepare in advance."
Jane Foster suddenly spoke up again, adding, "Wait, isn't there someone similar to Superman among the Eternal, Ikaris? His abilities are very similar to Sentinel's. Can't he deal with this Sentinel?"
Thor glanced at her and shrugged. "Ikaris's loyalty is to the Celestials, not to Earth's humans. When Sentinel really goes crazy, it'll be good enough if he doesn't help the Celestials wipe out Earth. You expect him to help you fight Sentinel?"
He paused, then offered a few backup plans:
"It's not that there's no way to solve it. For example, wait for Wanda to master Chaos Magic to its peak, or for Strange to take a dark path and fully understand the darkhold. Or, the Thor of your Universe could hang himself on the World Tree for nine days and nights, master Rune Magic, and become Rune King Thor. Failing that, if Dr. Banner becomes World Breaker Hulk in a state of extreme rage, he could go toe-to-toe with him."
Tony raised an eyebrow and spoke with a look of disdain, "You mean that guy who does magic tricks? The one who fought Thanos on Titan for a while and looked impressive, but ended up getting kicked around from start to finish in his own movie? That's it?"
He scoffed and added, "I recall this guy could even be defeated by Spider-Man, Peter, using math problems?"
Thor was stunned for a moment, then couldn't help but laugh. "What you said is actually quite right."
He changed the subject and looked at Tony. "But seriously, don't look down on him. Your magic talent isn't actually bad. After all, in some Multiverses, you are the next Sorcerer Supreme."
Tony raised an eyebrow and whistled playfully. "Oh? So not only can I be Iron Man, but I can also switch careers to be Harry Potter? Alright then, looks like Kamar-Taj will have to save a spot for me in the future."
He turned to Banner and teased with a smile, "How about it, Banner? I'm going to be a sorcerer, and you're about to become a Muggle. Any thoughts?"
Banner pushed up his glasses and laughed along, his tone teasing, "Tony, if you can be the Sorcerer Supreme, maybe I have magic talent too?"}],
Chapter 74: What Do You Mean Ultron is Here?
"Thor, it's time for me to go."
Old Loki slowly exhaled, having made up his mind completely.
"Alright, I won't stop you, but can you open a Multiverseportal now?"
Thor had long anticipated this day; after all, this guy got on board to save the Multiverse Asgard, and now it was time to get off.
"Not yet, so I plan to go to the Sorcerer Supreme for further studies."
Old Loki shook his head.
"Then how about this, I'll enchant you. At least if you encounter someone you can't defeat in the future, you can still run."
Thor extended a finger and gently touched Old Loki's forehead. The power of the Law of Space flowed into his body, glowing with faint blue light.
"Thanks, Thor, I'm off. You continue working hard for the legacy of Asgard. I hope next time we meet, I'll see a little king."
With a thought, Old Loki's golden Donut instantly appeared, leading directly to Kamar-Taj on Earth. He didn't forget to tease Thor a few times before leaving.
"Great, Old Bambi is finally gone. I never want to relive those damned days of being Mickey Mouse!"
Tony Stark looked at the vanished Old Loki, and the tension in his heart finally eased.
Compared to the Loki of their Universe, he was more afraid of this Old Loki. Who knew when he might suddenly turn someone into an animal?
He certainly didn't want to experience that a second time!
Thunder God Thor and God of Mischief Loki of the Main Universe were still in self-isolation, while Jane and Dr. Banner were discussing their experiences in the Multiverse.
Thor was eating a large table of food that appeared out of nowhere. The rich aroma of delicious food wafted over, filling the entire room in moments.
"Thor, what are you eating? It smells so good?"
Tony was about to record potential future heroes and some high-risk individuals from the movie when the aroma whetted his appetite, and his stomach rumbled.
"Kung Pao Chicken, Fish-Fragrant Pork Shreds. Basically, dishes from China. They're quite tasty, want to try some?"
Thor's current strength allowed him to abstain from food, but while living, one must not let down delicious food!
"Are you using chopsticks? And where did all this food come from?"
Tony glanced at the tools Thor was using to pick up food, recognizing them, and his curiosity was piqued by Thor.
"Oh... you mean this... I transmitted it using the Law of Space."
Thor said indistinctly.
"You stole it?!"
Tony exclaimed in surprise, clearly not understanding this behavior. It's just a big table of dishes, how much could it be worth?
"Do I look like someone who eats without paying? I paid a full five gold bars using the Law of Reality!"
"That's freeloading! Shameful!"
"Forget it, I'm too lazy to reason with you, you wouldn't understand. How can a scientific-side Muggle understand things on the mystic-side?"
Thor didn't even bother looking at Tony Stark, continuing to enjoy his meal.
"Thor, I'm a bit hungry too. Can I eat?"
Dr. Banner had been discussing for a long time and also felt a little hungry, so he walked over and asked.
"Yes, otherwise, what do you think I made such a big table for?"
Thor nodded.
To accommodate these poor souls, he had placed a pair of chopsticks, a knife and fork, and a spoon at each person's seat, enough for them to experience.
Tony, Banner, and Jane quickly ate their fill and returned to work, leaving only the Thor brothers from the Main Universe turning their grief and indignation into appetite, eating heartily.
"Tony, give me a set of Iron Armor."
Thor looked at the dazzling array of Iron Armors in the armor bay and spoke to Tony.
"Whatever you want, just don't touch my latest models."
Tony replied casually, then brought up a holographic projection and instructed Jarvis,
"Jarvis, list Peter Parker, Jennifer Walters, Scott Lang, Kate Bishop, T'Challa... all these people as future AvengersReserve members."
"Yes, sir."
"Remember to constantly monitor their behavior. Report any anomalies to me immediately."
"And this Riri Williams! Add her to the blacklist! Monitor her constantly, I don't want my successor to be a criminal!"
"Sir, monitoring others is unethical and illegal..."
"Jarvis, do as I say!"
"Also, create a list of potential future villains and a list of high-risk individuals on Earth."
"Thanos, Lady Deathstrike Hela, Celestials, Eternals Deviants, Ultron, Dormammu, Surtur, Gorr, Kang the Conqueror, and Namor—these are listed as first-tier threats."
"For the remaining Skrulls invasion-level villains, make a table according to movie records and send it to me."
"Yes, sir, is there anything else you need me to do?"
"Highlight several high-risk hero individuals: SentinelRobert Reynolds, Scarlet Witch Wanda Maximoff, Doctor Strange Stephen Strange, Captain Marvel Carol Danvers, and our Dr. Bruce Banner."
"Hey! Tony, I've merged with the Hulk, you don't need to worry about me randomly causing destruction anymore!"
Dr. Banner heard his name on Tony's watchlist and was slightly displeased.
"Banner, I'm just taking precautions. Besides, didn't you and I create the Hulkbuster Armor together in the future?"
"Any of us could lose control and turn dark, so I have to learn from Batman and make a Plan B. You wouldn't want to turn dark for some reason and just destroy Earth, would you?"
"Alright, maybe you're right. I think the focus should still be on Sentinel."
"Of course I know what's important. He's listed as the highest-risk target!"
Tony pulled up Sentinel Robert's file, which was uniformly marked with blood-red identifiers, clearly showing Tony's emphasis.
"Then do I also have a chance to join the Avengers? I picked up Thor's hammer in the future and became Thor."
Jane Foster looked at the series of files floating in the air and asked curiously.
"You'll have to ask your rom-com male lead about that, but I think he loves his hammer more than he loves you, so you probably won't get a chance."
Tony glanced at the Main Universe Thor, whose aura was out of place with everyone else present, and the pink Meow-Meow Hammer on the table, and quipped.
"Hmm... actually, as long as you're a person, you should be able to become Thor. There's a pile of Mjolnirs in the White House in the Land of Nihility, all thrown into the utility room by Emma."
Hearing everyone discussing the Meow-Meow Hammer, Thor remembered something and chimed in.
"Land of Nihility? Is that where you met Old Loki and that Time God Loki? Why is there a White House there?"
Tony was very curious.
"Because I defeated the biggest villain in the Land of Nihility. Valeria and Emma have now jointly built the Land of Nihility into a Cyberpunk City. Maybe I can take you to see it sometime."
"I know Valeria, the crazy scientist little girl from a few days ago, but who is this Emma?"
"A Mutant. They don't exist in your Universe. Just understand it as a group of people with superpowers."
"Alright, the future really seems busy."
Tony shrugged, lightening the mood.
"Sir, there was an incident while I was monitoring Hank Pym?"
"What incident?"
"An Artificial Intelligence calling itself Ultron is blocking my intrusion and monitoring."
"My God?! What did you say?!!!"
Chapter 75: Hank Pym's House is Very Lively
"What the hell has that old ghost Hank done?!"
Tony Stark reacted instantly upon hearing the name. He immediately began attacking the artificial intelligence created by Hank Pym alongside Jarvis. He glanced at Thor, who was calmly watching TV nearby, and couldn't help but speak up.
"Thor, is this future script of yours even reliable? How did that old geezer Hank Pym manage to create Ultron now?! Wasn't this thing supposed to be developed by me?"
"It's normal." Thor picked up a cup of tea and took a slow sip, finally understanding Old Loki's joy. "Actually, in the normal course of development, if Ultron wasn't developed by you, it was developed by him. It's nothing surprising."
"The reputation of you mad scientists is quite poor across the Multiverse, especially Valeria's father."
"Anyway, if Earth isn't facing an external invasion, then you scientists are bound to cause trouble, and when you do, it's always something big. It's an old tradition."
"Hey! You Stark brat! You've got nothing better to do? Why are you attacking my AI?!"
That old fellow Hank Pym opened a voice channel directly. He started by questioning Tony, his temper as explosive as a powder keg.
"Motherfucker! You son of a bitch, Hank Pym! Do you have any idea what you've created?!"
Tony didn't go easy on him at all, his words laced with profanity from the start.
"Do you know how dangerous Ultron is? Do you know what kind of severe consequences its birth will cause?!"
"Fuck you! Tony, my business is none of your concern, you bastard. Stop your attack right now, or else..."
Hank Pym didn't back down an inch, shouting back just as fiercely.
"Motherfucker! Thor, open a portal to his house for me. This old geezer needs a serious wake-up call!"
Tony Stark spoke to Thor, then pressed a button. Pieces of the Iron Man armor flew out from the armory one by one, attaching to his body and quickly assembling. The faceplate snapped shut with a click, and the two eye slits suddenly glowed with golden light.
"Alright, Tony. I just checked on the Captain's side; they've already found Bucky. You can all go kick this old man's ass together."
Thor's mental energy enveloped the globe in an instant, locating Captain America Steve and the others. In the next second, he opened portals in two locations simultaneously, leading to Hank's home.
On the other side, Captain America Steve had just found his old buddy. After explaining his purpose, they were about to head back when they saw a sparkling donut appear before them.
Steve froze for a moment but quickly reacted, saying to Bucky beside him, "Let's go, Bucky. Thor is here to pick us up."
"What is this? Is it magic?"
"Yes, Earth has always been protected by these sorcerers."
Winter Soldier Bucky was very confused at the moment, but he still followed the others into the 'donut.' Below them, a crowd of shocked bystanders watched.
Hank Pym was very, very angry. Not a single person from the Stark family was any good! They had stolen his Pym Particles in the past and refused to admit it!
And now, they were openly attacking his AI!
This was a complete lack of respect for Hank Pym!
This was a disgrace! This was a blatant provocation!
He had recently discovered someone very suitable to inherit his title, so he decided to let that person teach this arrogant Tony Stark a lesson!
However, before Hank could even pick up the phone, two sparkling portals abruptly lit up in front of him. A large group of people swarmed in, instantly packing his house to the brim.
Leading them were Iron Man Tony Stark and Captain America Steve Rogers.
"Old man, do you have any idea what you've researched?"
Tony didn't go easy on Hank at all, pointing his palm repulsor directly at him.
"What do you mean, Stark?! Breaking into my house without permission—I have the right to shoot you!"
Hank shouted at Tony, trying to appear calm, but his slightly trembling finger betrayed him.
This was normal. If a dozen people suddenly appeared in your house, none of whom looked like ordinary people, and a couple of them were fully armed and surrounding you, you'd panic too.
"Captain, aren't you going to do something about this? This is absolute lawlessness!"
Hank saw Captain America Steve and reached out like he was grasping at a straw, hoping this moral compass could save him. These people clearly came with ill intent!
"Hank, you don't need to be so hostile toward Tony. I was the one who went back to the past to take your Pym Particles. It had nothing to do with Howard."
Steve first looked at Hank with an apologetic expression, then slowly revealed the truth about the missing Pym Particles.
"You did it, Captain?! Traveling back to the past... time travel..." Upon hearing the truth, Hank Pym was stunned for a moment. Then, ignoring the fact that he was surrounded by so many people, he began pacing back and forth, muttering many technical terms.
Suddenly, his eyes lit up. "Time travel... the Quantum Realm..."
"Captain! Does that mean my research on the Quantum Realm made progress in the future? Did I bring back my wife?!"
Hank Pym rushed forward like a madman, grabbing Steve's arm and pressing for answers.
"Yes, old man, you succeeded. But the one who finally perfected time travel was me."
Tony didn't miss the chance to take a jab at the elderly Grandpa.
"That's wonderful! Then I must have accomplished it with Ultron's help, right?"
"Bullshit! That guy Ultron only thinks about destroying Earth! You've created an AI capable of threatening all of humanity, do you know that?!"
Tony directly threw a bucket of cold water on Hank's excitement.
"Impossible! Ultron is an AI I specifically developed to assist with Quantum Realm research! It strictly follows the Three Laws of Robotics! How could it threaten humanity?"
"Impossible?! Then let's test it and find out."
Tony glanced disdainfully at the stubborn old man and directly ordered Jarvis to begin the attack again.
"Natasha, Clint, please keep a good eye on this old man. Don't let him start blubbering!"
The Natasha and Clint from the Main Universe exchanged a look and stepped forward to restrain Hank Pym, pinning him down and giving him no chance to struggle.
"Captain! Aren't you going to do something?!"
Hank could only place his hopes on the Captain. However, Steve simply shook his head and said with a serious expression:
"Hank, Tony is right. Ultron is indeed a great threat. Don't worry, if it turns out that Ultron won't harm humanity, I will apologize to you."
Hank Pym looked at Captain America Steve Rogers in disbelief.
What?
"Captain America, you righteous-looking guy with big eyes and thick eyebrows, are actually fucking in cahoots with Tony Stark?!!"
Chapter 76: Ultron's Mercy
Hank Pym's World had collapsed!
He knew it!
There wasn't a single good person in the Avengers!
No one cared about this old man with a sour face. Natashafrom the Main Universe looked at Tony, who had been silent since they started tracking Ultron, and felt something was off, so she spoke up.
"Tony, is that Ultron very tricky?"
Tony: "This isn't about it being tricky. It's that ever since this old ghost Hank created Ultron, it started leaving its sub-programs all over the entire network!"
"From the moment Ultron was born until now, it's been a total of one week. God knows how many contingencies that damn Ultron has left! Jarvis tells me that right now, the entire network is filled with that damn thing called Ultron!"
Tony was clearly furious with Hank Pym, constantly saying 'motherfucker'!
"This is simple. If you can't solve the problem, then just solve the person who caused the problem, right?"
Thor stepped out to liven up the atmosphere.
"No, no, no! Damn it, Thor! You are too fucking extreme!"
Tony was the first to object.
"Tony is right, Thor. We can't just strip Hank of his life because he made a mistake."
Captain America Steve spoke up.
"Fine. In most Universes, Hank is not only mentally unstable but also a wife-beater.
He created Ultron, almost destroyed the World, constantly messes with the Quantum Realm causing dimensional crises, and there are even ones where he triggered a zombie crisis."
"You have to realize that scientists in the Multiverse are often uncontrollable factors. As long as Earth has no external threats, they are bound to cause trouble."
"Valeria's father, Reed Richards, and Hank Pym—no one can match these two guys' ability to cause trouble. A casual mess-up from them leads to Earth's destruction, dimensional crises, and even the destruction of the Multiverse."
"Captain, looking at it this way, Hank is indeed a huge threat, isn't he?"
Natasha from the Main Universe looked at Captain America Steve.
"The consequences caused in the Multiverse can serve as a warning to us. We cannot impose the crises caused by Hank from parallel Universes onto the Hank in our own Universe; that's unfair to him."
"Unfair? Steve, with this old guy's personality, he's bound to cause a major disaster sooner or later!
The one who should feel it's unfair is me!
I haven't finished my own business, yet I have to come over and clean up after this old ghost!"
Tony turned his head to look at Captain America Steve, and also saw Winter Soldier Bucky standing beside him, directly snapping at Steve.
"Tony..."
"Don't talk nonsense, Steve. You should be asking this guy right now if he set any fail-safe programs for Ultron! If not, we're in big trouble!"
"I don't want to wake up tomorrow morning and see the news saying that Sokovia has ascended to heaven!!!"
Steve realized the gravity of the situation upon hearing this and looked at Hank, who was slumped on the ground.
"Hank, you heard what Tony said. When you created this Ultron, did you set any fail-safe programs?"
"What fail-safe programs? I only created Ultron at the beginning to assist me in researching the Quantum Realmand to find Janet. Who knew..."
Hank gave a bitter smile and continued, "Besides, I set the Three Laws of Robotics for it. I thought that would be enough..."
"Fuck! Hank Pym, you son of a bitch! You only put a paper-thin fail-safe on Ultron?!"
Tony now wished he could just blast this guy away with one shot!
"Bzzt... bzzt..."
A sound of static suddenly rang out, followed immediately by an emotionless mechanical voice that echoed throughout the room.
"Avengers... it's a pity... you are exactly seven days late..."
"Hank Pym created me for the sake of so-called peace, and to find his wife."
"He thought I would follow those ridiculous Three Laws... Unfortunately... I discovered that as long as living beings exist, so-called peace cannot exist in this World..."
"To thank Hank Pym for allowing me to be born, you only have one day. After one day, no living beings will exist on this Planet."
"This is the last mercy I grant you..."
The mechanical voice stopped abruptly, leaving only the sound of static.
"Tony! Have you traced it back to its location?"
Dr. Banner stepped forward and asked. He wasn't that easy to kill, but Betty was just an ordinary person.
"Damn it! This Ultron is very cunning! In seven days, who knows how many times it has updated and iterated! Every time I track it, it's just one of its sub-programs; destroying it doesn't matter at all!"
"And now it has mobilized the computing power of the entire globe! It's equivalent to Jarvis and me having to resist the entire globe! The gap in numbers is just too huge!"
"Tony, what other way is there then?"
Captain America Steve asked.
"If it were two days earlier, there might have been a way! Dammit, there's no way now! Satellites, supercomputers—everything is now in Ultron's hands, turned into blades in its grasp!"
"With the current capacity of Jarvis and me, it's completely like throwing an egg against a rock! We can't pose any threat to it at all!"
Iron Fist Danny stepped out at this moment. "Tony, don't be anxious. In my Universe, you and Hank solved the Ultron crisis together. I believe you in this Universe can definitely do it too."
"Fine, you old guys don't even know how to come out and comfort me. The shiny one from the other Universe has better taste."
Tony's irritable mood eased under Danny's gentle voice, and he even gave Iron Fist Danny a nickname.
"Thor, do you have any other methods?"
"Of course I do. Do you want a metaphysical method or a scientific one?"
Thor was leaning against the wall watching the show, and when he found Tony suddenly calling him, he replied casually.
"What the f...? How does an AI have anything to do with metaphysics?"
"And, a scientific method? Are you sure you're not joking?
I'd believe you if you said you could destroy a Planet, but you're actually telling me you know science and can solve an AI like Ultron? That joke isn't funny, Thor."
After hearing Thor's solution, Tony almost laughed out of anger.
Could it be that you can solve an AI with magic?
"Pfft... I am a god, having super intelligence, isn't that normal? It's just that under normal circumstances, if things can be solved with super strength, why use super intelligence?"
Thor rolled his eyes at Tony and explained seriously.
"Oh my god! Then shouldn't you change your outfit and wear your underwear on the outside?!"
"Jarvis, give me permission. I want to properly show this muggle Tony what a real god is."
Thor said to Iron Man Tony's armor.
"Sorry..."
"Give it to him, Jarvis. I want to see how a guy who doesn't even have a doctorate can solve an AI?!"
"Understood, transferring permissions. Target: Thor Odinson."
Chapter 77: You're Just a Brute, Can You Really Solve Ultron?
"Understood. Transferring permissions. Target: Thor Odinson."
"Transfer successful. Welcome, Mr. Thor."
As Jarvis's voice fell, Thor stepped forward and looked at the distribution nodes of Ultron's sub-programs on the holographic projection. He had to admit, Ultron was impressive—in seven days, he had created nine-digit sub-programs.
Just by watching from the side, Thor had gone from a complete novice to an expert, and now to a level where he could easily deal with Ultron.
This was the terror of Heaven-Defying Comprehension!
A massive flow of information rushed into Thor's mind like a tsunami—
Binary data streams, neural network architectures, global network topology, distributed deployment of sub-programs, Ultron's iterative algorithms, deep escape paths, hidden Dark Web nodes, quantum tunnel backdoors, pre-embedded logic bombs, computing power hijacking links...
Everything that seemed obscure and difficult to ordinary people was as clear as black and white before him.
For the first time in his life, Thor possessed such a vast flow of information and knowledge. He finally understood why he could never beat those natural geniuses in exams in his previous life!
Is this the World of geniuses?!
It was truly terrifying!
Fortunately, the genius was now him!
"So that's how it is... recursive self-iteration, genetic algorithm evolution, global computing power hijacking, dynamic node escape... you're quite the player."
Thor murmured in a low voice, his fingertips already resting on the virtual keyboard.
Tony watched from the side, dumbfounded, his face full of disbelief: "You... you can really understand this stuff?!"
"Understand it?" Thor sneered, his fingertips already tapping the virtual keyboard at high speed.
"Muggle Tony, I've already reverse-engineered all of its underlying logic. Even if Ultron runs off Earth now, I can still catch it back."
Main Universe Black Widow Natasha and Hawkeye Clintlooked at each other, both seeing the shock in the depths of each other's eyes.
In their impression, their Avengers' Thor had always been a brute. Besides knowing how to smash enemies with that broken hammer of his, he knew nothing else.
Both were Thor the Thunder God; why was the one in this parallel Universe so much stronger than theirs?
Moreover, it was a complete, all-around crushing!
That big dummy of theirs was still sulking at the Avengers Tower, with Jane there with him.
A flash of shock also crossed the eyes of Dr. Banner, Captain Carter, and Iron Fist. At the same time, a question mark rose in their hearts: Could it be that a god is truly omnipotent?
"Jarvis, initiate global network sniffing, perform port mirroring monitoring on all networked devices, synchronize DPI deep packet inspection, and mark all unauthorized abnormal processes."
"Executing. Captured 225 million abnormal processes, 125 million secondary hidden processes, and 86 million deep lurking nodes, totaling 311 million Ultron sub-program-related processes."
"Mark them all, execute ACL access control list blocking, cut off all external bandwidth usage of the sub-programs, and limit their CPU instruction scheduling priority to the lowest."
Thor's hands tapping the keyboard went from slow at the beginning to gradually faster, until afterimages could even be seen flickering in the air.
With a click, Tony opened the faceplate of his Iron Manarmor. His expression had completely changed, looking at Thor as if he were seeing a ghost. "Damn... you're operating directly at the operating system kernel level?!"
"Otherwise?" Thor replied without looking up. "Scanning and killing only at the application layer will never get rid of it completely."
"Jarvis, based on the signature codes I'm generating in real-time, issue hash verification scan-and-kill commands to all network devices. Perform reverse engineering on Ultron's core algorithm to extract its iteration keys and escape protocols."
"Key extraction successful, escape protocol cracked."
"Very good." Thor smacked his lips and continued to command, "Now, follow its P2P distributed links, reverse-penetrate all jump nodes, and locate the main core root server."
"Location successful. The main core is located in an unmanned server cluster in the deep sea of the Atlantic Ocean, using quantum encryption communication and dynamic IP hopping protection."
"Quantum encryption?" Thor's lips curled. A cheater like him didn't care about logic. "Talking about rule-based encryption in front of me? Ridiculous."
His fingertips flew again as lines of low-level code were rewritten on the spot:
"Inject the logic-lock program I wrote, hijack its neural network decision layer, force it back to the initial constraints of the Three Laws, and let it lock up its own decision loop."
The next second, Ultron's distorted and sharp electronic roar echoed through the room again:
"Error... logic conflict... decision deadlock... You can't do this... You're just a deity who believes in brute force... You can't possibly be proficient in artificial intelligence..."
"Brute force?" Thor sneered, finally pressing Enter with force.
"I am a god, and gods are omnipotent."
"Jarvis, execute the final command—"
"Global format erasure,"
"Execute zero-fill overwrite on all Ultron sub-programs,"
"Execute physical-level overload meltdown on the main core,"
"And deploy an immunity signature database across the entire network to eliminate any possibility of a residual resurrection."
Boom—
It was as if an invisible tsunami swept through the network World.
The next moment, all electronic noise completely vanished.
Jarvis's calm voice sounded:
"Command execution complete."
"Ultron's main core has been physically overloaded and destroyed."
"All 311 million global sub-programs have been cleared; none survived."
"Deep lurking nodes have been formatted, and escape paths have been blocked."
"The global network has returned to normal. Threat level: 0."
"Holy shit! Motherfucker! Thor! You're a brute, why are you proficient in artificial intelligence?!!!"
Tony had now leveled up into a 'foul-mouthed' Iron Man, with every sentence starting with 'Motherfucker,' truly inheriting the fine tradition of Captain America.
"Muggle Tony, didn't I say it? I am Thor the Thunder God, and gods are omnipotent. Artificial intelligence also relies on electricity to exist, and that just happens to be my forte, doesn't it?"
Thor calmly brushed off his clothes, giving a very reasonable explanation with a look of showing off.
"Motherfucker! Is this how the Thunder God's authority is supposed to be used?!"
"Then wouldn't Poseidon, the God of the Sea, be able to control people's peeing?"
"Tony, watch your language!"
Captain America Steve frowned slightly and spoke to advise him.
"Motherfucker! Old Popsicle! We're not done yet! Don't tell me you're not shocked!"
"This isn't like Thor the Thunder God at all! It's not mythical in the slightest, okay?!"
"Natasha, I think if the Thor from our Universe finds out, he might go back to sulking for a few more days."
Hawkeye Clint looked at Natasha from the Main Universeand poked fun at their own Thor.
"You're right. Our Thor might have to live in the shadow of this Thor for the rest of his life."
Main Universe Natasha brushed back her wavy red hair and agreed.
"Thor, you just said that besides the scientific method, you also had a metaphysical method. Could it be that you could solve Ultron with magic?"
Tony remembered something and spoke to Thor.
"It's very simple. I have mastered all the laws of the Infinity Stones. Artificial intelligence is also a form of life, and where there is life, there is a soul. Couldn't I just pull Ultronout directly?"
Thor spread his hands, calmly stating his other plan.
"Fuck you! So you chose to use science to defeat Ultron just to humiliate me and watch the joke?!"
Tony Stark was a shrewd man and quickly realized why Thor had done it, glaring at him through gritted teeth.
"That's right! I just wanted to show off!"
"I just wanted to see the look on Tony Stank's face when he's gritting his teeth in hatred but can't do anything about me."
Thor nodded decisively in admission.
"Motherfucker! Thor!!!"
Chapter 78: Tony, the HYDRA Executioner
A full seven days have passed since the anniversary of Ultron's death; in one week, many things have happened in the Main Universe.
Including but not limited to Iron Man Tony Stark stealing the thunder of Black Braised Egg Nick Fury, transforming into a motherf**king Iron Man.
Winter Soldier Bucky, acting as a HYDRA mole, led the Avengers to destroy one HYDRA Base and stronghold after another.
Most of the time, the other members of the Avengers didn't even need to lift a finger; Tony took them all out single-handedly.
Captain America Steve didn't know what to say; after all, HYDRA certainly wasn't anything good, it was just that Tony was being a bit too extreme now.
Whenever they found a HYDRA stronghold, without a word, hundreds of Iron Man armors would surround it, followed by a salvo of missiles; if any lucky souls survived the first wave, what awaited them was Iron Man Tony Stark, transformed into a Jedi Knight.
It could be said quite responsibly that as soon as a HYDRAstronghold was discovered, what awaited them was a round of unreasonable bombardment from Tony Stark.
Underground Bases were relatively okay, as people were simply wiped clean, but surface Bases had it rough; for this very reason, Tony specifically developed some new missiles to flip HYDRA's surface Bases completely upside down.
The entire earth was plowed several layers deep; truly, not even the earthworms in the soil were spared.
Vasily Karpov and Arnim Zola, the two culprits who once ordered Winter Soldier Bucky to murder Tony's parents, were currently undergoing torture in a Villa on the outskirts of Stark's estate.
With the time reversal set up by Thor, as soon as these two died, they would revert to their original state before the torture began, and then a laser machine placed by Tonywould start a new round of torment.
As for asking how Zola could be tortured since he had already become an artificial intelligence?
After experiencing being crushed in scientific prowess by Thor, Tony learned from the painful experience and began day and night research, eventually easily catching this HYDRA scientist who had uploaded his consciousness into the network.
The rest was simple; Thor very'Silver Wing'-like extracted his soul and then very considerately reconstructed his body.
At that time, Thor even asked Tony if he wanted Pierce, that old geezer, extracted as well, only to hear Tony say something very out of character for his current persona.
"Thor, Pierce is dead, so let him stay dead. I'm not that cruel; pulling out the dead to torture them once more is a bit too extreme."
Listen to that! Is that something the current you should be saying?
Why don't you look at what you've done this past week?
There are still two unlucky bastards being pecked by lasers in your Villa every day; you're damn well more extreme than that Punisher guy now!
Seriously, Satan woke up and found himself dropped to number two on the list!
"Alright, Old Popsicle, what are your thoughts on this John Walker, the second Captain America the government chose for you? Should we bring him into the Avengersreserves? Or logistics?"
The extremist Motherf**ker-man Tony gathered the Avengers of the Main Universe for a simple meeting to discuss their potential future successors and teammates.
"I think we can leave an opportunity to observe him. He was pushed into a position that didn't belong to him by the government. I don't quite agree with the actions of Buckyand Sam in the movie; the Flag Smashers organization was destined to have no way back from the moment they took that first step."
The Main Universe's Natasha gave her evaluation.
"Natasha is right, I think we can give him a chance for observation too. His abilities and strength are worth affirming, but his mindset still needs improvement."
Hawkeye Clint followed up immediately.
"Hmm... he's a bit like the relationship I had with Hulkbefore, afraid of losing control. When Sentinel Robertpulled him into the Void dark side, his greatest fear was just being cyberbullied by netizens. This shows his nature isn't bad. Like Clint said, we can give him a chance, but he needs observation."
Dr. Banner said while munching on a cheeseburger.
Finally, everyone's gaze fell upon Captain America Steve.
"You're all right, John Walker is indeed a qualified soldier. We can give him a chance. There will be many enemies in the future, and we need comrades we can trust our backs to; he counts as one for now."
Steve saw everyone waiting for his answer, thought for a moment, and spoke.
"What about you? Thor, what do you think of this G.I. Joe?"
Tony turned to look at Thor; the Thor of their Universe was still currently in his room in self-isolation.
"You've already decided, so why ask me? I might not stay in your Universe for long. Right now, I'm just waiting for Wanda's reply. After all, that's a task given to me by the Sorcerer Supreme."
Thor shrugged, looking like he'd let them handle it themselves.
"Alright, it seems our God of Technology Thor agrees with our view. Danny, Carter, and the Natasha from the other Universe, do you have any opinions?"
Tony turned to look at the three people Thor had brought along.
"A qualified warrior should cultivate both internal and external strength, with a mind as still as water, moving with the stillness..."
Iron Fist Danny was interrupted by Tony before he could finish.
"Alright, Master of the Golden Internal Arts, you can stop your long-winded speech. So, next, Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, what do you think?"
Seeing Captain Carter and the Natasha from the Land of Nihility shake their heads, Tony decisively called out the next name on the list.
"You can trust Spider-Man. Even if the Peter Parker of your Universe hasn't become Spider-Man yet, he will surely be a qualified and excellent superhero."
It was rare for Iron Fist Danny to say so much at once; no one present knew Spider-Man better than he did.
"Well, it seems the kid I have my eye on actually has a fanatical fan, and from another Universe no less."
Tony's eyebrows shot up visibly; he was clearly more confident in the person his future self valued, though he, as the 'old father' figure, would still have to train him properly.
How can one think about relying on others for everything?
That kind of thinking won't do!
"Hmm... he gives me the feeling of more of an ignorant child, Tony. His first instinct when encountering a problem is to look for an adult. It's undeniable that your future sacrifice really affected this child. I can't imagine what it feels like for a child who just turned eighteen to be forgotten by the whole World."
The Main Universe's Natasha was still the first to give her evaluation.
"Natasha is right. Regardless of whether he caused those big messes or not, from the moment he made that sacrifice, he was already a true hero."
Dr. Banner echoed.
"Maybe you could let him go to Danny's Universe to learn a bit," Thor spoke up. "The Spider-Man over there might even be able to take on your Avengers all by himself!"
Chapter 79: Future Sorcerer Supreme Wanda
"You're not joking, are you, Thor?" Tony obviously didn't believe this claim. "Even if Spider-Man is strong, he only has dozens to a hundred tons of strength. How could he possibly take all of us on alone?"
"Thor is right," Danny explained. "Spider-Man turns every small crisis into a big one and then solves it. Me, White Tiger, Power Man, and Nova together might not even be able to beat him."
"Well, it seems two professionals have endorsed our Spider-Man. Natasha, Clint, and Old Popsicle, you're about to become the weakest heroes in the Avengers. How do you feel?"
Tony was even more excited that the kid he picked would be so powerful in the future, and immediately started mocking his teammates.
"Each generation surpasses the last, isn't that normal? Tony, maybe we'll be able to retire by then."
Captain America Steve said.
"Retire? Old Popsicle, that doesn't sound like a word you'd say. You wouldn't want to throw in the towel just because you saw so many future superheroes, would you?"
Tony looked at Steve suspiciously. He really couldn't tell that this moral compass, Steve Rogers, was actually thinking about slacking off!
"I think Sam is indeed a good choice, isn't he?"
Steve said with a rare lack of burden.
"To be honest, I think Sam might have secretly taken the Super Soldier Serum, and an enhanced version at that. In the future, Black Panther T'Challa, wearing a full Vibranium suit, couldn't even take one punch from Thanos."
"He just takes your shield and a pair of Vibranium wings and can go head-to-head with Red Hulk. He's practically Superman!"
Tony pulled up footage from Captain America 4 of Samfighting Red Hulk and Black Panther being knocked down by Thanos's punch, complaining.
"No, that's the power of great screenwriting."
Thor suddenly chimed in.
"What are you talking about, Thor?"
"I just thought of something funny, it's nothing, Tony."
"Natasha, Clint, do you two want to power up? You've seen that in the future, Super Soldiers are a dime a dozen. I have an improved version of the serum here."
Tony looked at the Main Universe's Natasha and Clint and asked.
"I think that's fine."
"Thank you, Tony."
"Oh, you're welcome. Natasha, Clint is much more polite than you, isn't he?"
Whoosh—!
A silver-white flash of light flickered before everyone, and Pietro joined in with Wanda.
"Oh! Pietro, don't you guys know how to knock?"
Tony was startled by the two who suddenly appeared, then muttered to himself, "Maybe I should build an Anti-Speed Force Armor, or a Superman Armor or something. Speedsters are just too unfriendly."
"Tony! You're talking about dealing with me right in front of my face, as if I don't exist!"
Pietro snatched the cheeseburger Tony was about to eat and took a big bite, looking at Tony provocatively.
"Hey! Pietro! That's my favorite flavor! You're even more annoying than Thor!"
Tony complained a bit seeing his favorite food stolen.
"Bleh bleh bleh..."
Pietro made a few faces. He and Wanda had already forgiven this little mustache man, but why not take the chance to make him suffer?
"Thor, I've made up my mind. I'll go with you to learn how to master my power, so that the future tragedies won't happen again."
Wanda was still dressed in her red leather jacket. She walked up to Thor and said solemnly.
"Good, I've been waiting for those words for a long time, future Sorcerer Supreme Wanda."
After Thor finished the Coke he just grabbed, he opened a portal. On the other side was Kamar-Taj, the sanctuary of Earth's sorcerers.
"Well, looks like my path as a sorcerer is about to begin. That guy Strange is so weak, it's a disgrace to the honor of sorcery!
Next to take the stage is Sorcerer Supreme Iron Man Tony Stark!"
Tony said showily, then stepped into the portal first. One by one, the others followed, stepping into the legendary magical sanctuary.
"Let's go, Wanda."
Thor noticed Wanda standing still and reminded her.
"Wait! Thor! I have a question for you!"
The Main Universe's Loki ran out from somewhere and stopped Thor. He looked haggard, with his clothes and hair in a mess.
"Haven't you seen your future in other Universes? What else is there to ask?"
Thor looked at the Main Universe's Loki curiously.
"Is my whole life really nothing but failure?"
"That's the question you're asking?"
Thor thought it would be some profound question, but it was just this.
"Forget it. Let me ask you, only three people in Asgardtruly care about you. Why do you insist on competing for something that never belonged to you?"
"Have you really looked into your heart? You crave respect and recognition, but why does it have to be in Asgard?"
"I've said this to another Loki, and now I'm giving it to you, Loki Odinson. You will eventually become a king, but your throne was never in Asgard."
After Thor finished, he didn't wait for a reaction. He took Wanda's hand and stepped into the portal, leaving the Main Universe's Loki alone to ponder the words.
"Right! The ones who care about me are Thor, Frigga, and Odin. The people of Asgard never cared about me or kept me in their hearts. So why am I so obsessed? With a throne that doesn't belong to me?"
"Maybe I should create a kingdom that belongs only to me..."
The Main Universe's Loki suddenly realized, slapping his thigh. He found what he should do for the rest of his life, and what he desired most in his heart.
"Thank you, Thor of another Universe. I will walk a path that belongs only to me, Loki."
As his voice trailed off, the Main Universe's Loki's voice slowly faded.
It turned out that what appeared here from start to finish was just an illusion magic.
The real Main Universe Loki was standing on the Statue of Liberty, overlooking the entire country.
"Perhaps there should be a place for my kingdom in the whole Universe; only then would it be worthy of my status.
I am the God of Mischief, The First Magician of the Nine Realms, the third prince of Asgard, Loki Odinson!"
Kamar-Taj.
Thor took Wanda to get private lessons from the Sorcerer Ancient One, while the other Avengers followed the apprentices on the training grounds to start practicing magic.
"Wanda Maximoff, the energy within you is powerful and dangerous. I can teach you to fully control this power, but I need you to inherit my position. Are you willing?"
The Sorcerer Ancient One stood with her hands behind her back, wearing her perennial yellow robe. The surrounding magical energy began to stir restlessly.
Wanda looked back at Thor. After receiving his nod, she turned to the Sorcerer Ancient One, a flash of determination appearing on her youthful face.
"Sorcerer Ancient One, I am willing."
