The seven Dragon Balls glowed brighter than the stars themselves. The sky above Namek turned black, thunder rolling across the heavens as Porunga's massive form towered over them. His glowing red eyes peered down like a god looking at mortals.
Nail stepped forward confidently, his deep voice echoing. "I will speak. Porunga understands only the Namekian tongue."
The great dragon lowered his head, speaking in the ancient, booming language. Nail listened carefully, then turned to Goku and Rudra. "He asks—what is your first wish?"
Goku's eyes widened, excitement bubbling in his chest. "Oh right! The first one's easy! Nail, tell Porunga to restore the Earth. Bring the whole planet back, exactly the way it was!"
Nail nodded, lifting his hand as he spoke fluently in Namekian. The sky rumbled, Porunga's eyes glowed red, and his voice boomed again. The orbs of light swirled around him, then burst outward, vanishing into the void of space.
"It is done," Nail announced. "Earth has been restored."
Goku's face lit up with a huge smile. "Yes! That's great!" He clenched his fists with relief. "Earth is safe again."
Porunga's massive form shimmered once more. His eyes glowed, waiting. Nail turned back. "You have two wishes left. What is your second?"
Goku grew serious. His usual cheer faded as he thought of everyone who had died—his friends, his people. "For the second wish…" He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Bring back everyone on Earth and everyone Frieza killed. But…" His tone sharpened. "Don't bring back the bad ones."
Nail raised his brow slightly at the careful wording, then nodded and repeated the request in Namekian.
Porunga's eyes gleamed. The dragon's mighty voice shook the sky, confirming the wish. A ripple of divine light pulsed across the cosmos, invisible to most, but felt in every heart tied to Earth.
Moments later, a familiar voice entered Goku's mind, telepathic and warm.
"Goku! Rudra!" It was King Kai. His voice was brimming with excitement. "I can't believe it! The Earth has been restored, and so have the people! Everyone's alive again—Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, even Krillin!"
Goku exhaled deeply, relief washing over him. His shoulders relaxed, and for the first time since the battle began, he allowed himself a genuine smile. "They're back… all of them."
Rudra, standing silently with arms crossed, allowed himself a small sigh of relief too. "Good. That was necessary."
Porunga shifted again, his massive body glowing. Nail turned to them. "One final wish remains. What is your third request?"
Goku frowned, tapping his chin in thought. "Hmm… That's tough. We already brought back Earth and everyone Frieza killed. What else could we wish for?" He scratched his hair nervously. "Maybe more Senzu beans? No… that feels like cheating. Hmm…"
He fell silent, lost in thought.
Rudra stepped forward, his tone cutting through the hesitation. "I'll make this wish."
Nail blinked, surprised. "You?"
"Yes." Rudra's gaze hardened. "Tell Porunga to recover my Chakra."
Nail tilted his head, confused. "Chakra? What is that?"
Rudra explained quickly. "It's my power. I've used too much in this fight. Without it, I'm nothing."
Nail frowned, but still repeated the request in Namekian. Porunga's eyes glowed, but then his massive voice rumbled out, shaking the air.
Nail's eyes widened in surprise at the translation. "Porunga says… he does not know of this 'Chakra.' He cannot restore what he does not understand."
Rudra clenched his fist. His jaw tightened. Even Porunga doesn't know about it. My power is truly alien—even among gods.
He remained silent for a moment, then slowly lifted his head. "Then… I'll make a different wish."
Nail waited.
"Ask Porunga," Rudra said firmly, "to grant me the ability to regenerate myself."
Nail blinked in shock. "Regeneration? That is a gift unique even among Namekians. You ask for much…"
But then he remembered how Rudra had fought to protect Namek, how he had saved Nail's people from destruction. He hesitated, then nodded. "Very well." He turned back to Porunga and spoke the wish.
The dragon's eyes burned crimson, his body glowing brighter than ever. "It shall be done," Porunga thundered.
A surge of light burst from the dragon's form and flowed into Rudra. His entire body trembled as the energy enveloped him. For a moment, he felt every cell ignite, every wound close, every fiber of his being humming with new potential. His eyes widened as he realized—his body now carried the spark of regeneration.
Porunga's immense frame began to fade, his mission complete. With one last rumble of divine power, the dragon vanished, the sky clearing, the Dragon Balls scattering across Namek once again.
The three warriors stood in silence for a moment. Then Goku exhaled in relief. "Phew! That went better than I thought! Earth's back, everyone's alive, and Rudra's got… uh, whatever that new thing was."
Rudra lowered his hand, his face calm, though deep inside he felt a quiet storm of thoughts. Now… I can survive even the impossible. But my Chakra remains a mystery.
He turned his gaze on Trunks. "You still haven't explained how you got here."
Trunks' lips curled into a faint smile. "I had my spaceship with me. It's small enough to carry in my pocket."
Rudra's eyes narrowed ever so slightly, though he kept his expression neutral. He didn't answer. Lies. That's no spaceship—it's the time machine. He doesn't want anyone to know.
Before Goku could ask more questions, Rudra clapped his hands together, focusing. "Enough talk. We've achieved our goal. It's time to return."
Goku blinked. "Wait, return? You mean back to Earth already?"
"Yes," Rudra replied simply. "The fight here is over. Our world needs us."
Trunks gave a single nod of agreement.
Rudra pressed his fingers together and lifted them to his forehead. His aura flared, the air vibrating as his instantaneous technique awakened. "Hold on tight."
Goku grinned and grabbed his shoulder eagerly. "Haha! This is always fun!"
Trunks placed a steady hand on Rudra's other shoulder, his expression calm.
In an instant, the world around them blurred. The landscape of Namek, the quiet mountains, the endless green skies—all of it vanished in a single heartbeat of light.
The three of them disappeared.
Their next step would bring them back to the Earth they had fought so hard to save.
