Bulma crossed her arms, her blue eyes flashing with frustration as she snapped,
"Hey, I've got an idea! Why don't we just use the Dragon Balls to ask for Dr. Gero's base location and destroy it before he even creates those androids?"
Her voice echoed across the Lookout, stunning everyone into silence. The calm breeze brushing across the ancient marble tiles could not hide the weight of her proposal.
Trunks' eyes widened in shock.
"Mom… I mean—wait, is that even possible?" His voice cracked slightly, unable to hide the surprise in his tone.
Bulma lifted her chin, brimming with confidence.
"Of course, it's possible! The Dragon Balls can grant wishes far greater than this. If we can pinpoint the base and wipe it out, problem solved! No androids. No disaster. No endless bloodshed!"
Goku tilted his head, scratching the back of his messy black hair. He looked serious for a brief moment before smiling lightly, almost too casually for the situation.
"Bulma… but don't you think, if we do that, then our enemy won't even be born? And besides…" He clenched his fists with excitement, "don't you think we all need to become stronger too? If we have a powerful enemy to push us, we'll reach heights we never imagined. Isn't that kind of exciting?"
Bulma's temper flared instantly. She stomped her foot and shouted,
"What?! Goku, are you out of your mind? We're talking about the entire planet here! The lives of everyone on Earth, hanging in the balance—and you're thinking about training? Humph!"
Her voice thundered with raw anger, but before she could continue, Krillin stepped forward nervously, rubbing the back of his bald head.
"Bulma, listen. You know how Goku is, right? Everyone he's ever fought against started out as enemies—dangerous, deadly enemies! But somehow, because of Goku's actions, many of them turned into allies."
He gestured around the Lookout.
"Think about it. Even I had dark, negative thoughts when I first met him. But Goku's heart changed things. And now look at Vegeta—he might still be rough, but without a common enemy, he could turn against us, against Earth itself. But as long as we're fighting side by side, there's a chance… a chance he'll choose to protect this world instead."
Krillin's words grew more passionate with every sentence, surprising even himself.
"And let's not forget—Piccolo too. He started out as Goku's sworn enemy! But when a greater threat appeared, he stood alongside Goku. And slowly, step by step… he became one of us, fighting to protect Earth!"
A low voice rumbled from across the Lookout.
"I can hear everything you're saying, Krillin."
Everyone turned toward Piccolo, who had been standing silently in the shadows with his arms crossed. His keen Namekian ears picked up every word. He didn't look offended—if anything, there was the faintest trace of pride in his sharp gaze.
Rudra, sitting on the edge of the platform, finally stood up. His aura flickered faintly, still weak from battle, but his voice was steady and calm.
"I understand, Bulma. Your idea is good—it makes sense. But you have to see it from another angle."
All eyes shifted to Rudra as he continued.
"Look at Goku, Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz. All of them are fighting maniacs. If there's no common enemy to keep their focus, what do you think will happen? Sooner or later, one of them will seek battle—and Vegeta especially… he might turn against Earth just to test his strength against Goku again."
Bulma bit her lip but didn't reply.
Rudra's expression grew heavier as he continued.
"And beyond Earth, there are countless dangerous beings across the universe. Stronger, darker, and far more ruthless than anything we've seen. If one day we must face them, to protect this planet… then we must grow stronger, no matter the cost."
He looked toward the sky, his voice dropping into a deep, thoughtful tone.
"At the end of the day, only power can maintain peace. Without strength, peace is fragile—it crumbles the moment a new threat arrives. But if that power rests in the right hands… then Earth, and maybe even the universe, can live in peace."
The Lookout fell silent. Every word hung in the air like a heavy truth that no one could ignore.
Goku's eyes lit up, almost glowing with determination. He stepped forward, his Saiyan spirit burning like fire.
"Wow… You're right, Rudra. We do need to get stronger! And I promise you—no matter what happens, I'll protect Earth. I'll protect everyone, at any cost!"
His voice carried across the vast sky, and for the first time since Trunks' revelation, hope sparked among the fighters.
Bulma let out a long sigh, placing her hands on her hips.
"You guys… You're impossible. Honestly, every single one of you is a lunatic when it comes to fighting."
Krillin chuckled nervously.
"Yeah… but maybe that's what makes us Earth's last line of defense."
Piccolo uncrossed his arms, his cape fluttering slightly in the wind.
"Then it's settled. We train, we prepare, and when the time comes… we'll face these androids head-on."
Rudra closed his eyes briefly, his thoughts swirling. He knew the path ahead wouldn't be easy. Yet for the first time in days, a faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips. There was strength in unity—strength in purpose.
Above the Lookout, the sky glimmered with the rays of the sun. It felt like the calm before a storm—peaceful, but charged with an energy that promised battles yet to come.
The warriors of Earth had chosen their path: not to erase the threat, but to rise above it.
To grow stronger.
To protect.
And to prove that even in the face of endless challenges, the will of Earth's defenders would never break.
