The dull roar was mostly muffled by the prison of water. Muramasa took the opportunity to land back on the sea's surface. He naturally knew whose handiwork this water barrier was. He turned and saw the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island pushing her power to its limits.
The fatigue vanished…
Muramasa flexed his arm again and suddenly noticed a translucent blue jellyfish beneath his feet. The water splashing from it was continuously flowing into his body.
The sea breeze rustled Kokomi's pink and blue hair and her wide sleeves. She clasped her hands before her, a still-unsettled halo of Hydro energy surrounding her. "This battle is not yours alone. I will also do my utmost to assist you."
The Hydro energy around her surged again with her words. The seawater beneath her feet seemed to respond to her will, churning silently.
Her lips did not move, but her voice entered his mind: "Mr. Muramasa, this giant is not without weaknesses. I just need more verification. Could I trouble you to inflict more wounds upon it?"
As she spoke, the distant water barrier and the storm dissipated simultaneously, leaving little residual energy.
"Then, I'll leave the thinking to you." Muramasa raised his sword and, with a vertical slash, split the remaining aftershock of energy in two. "This old man will just do what he's supposed to do—"
His figure dragged a long wake across the sea's surface before coming to a steady stop, once again facing the 'False God' in the distance.
"Meddlesome ant."
Seeing Kokomi interfere, the voice from within the Balladeer's chest was laced with offended fury. He looked at his regenerated right arm, not noticing the momentary weakening of the surrounding energy during its repair, only that it had been restored in an instant. "Heh… so that's how it is. As long as I channel these powers…"
With a thought, the giant's two arms shot out. The two massive, emerald-green energy arms crossed and clenched in the air. A majestic elemental power erupted in a blinding green light, and two huge longswords made of pure compressed energy instantly formed, held tightly in the giant's hands!
"Your sword aura seems quite sharp, doesn't it?"
He controlled the two swords, raising them high before slashing down in a cross pattern. Two massive, emerald-green slashes of energy shot out in an X-shape. There was no technique in the immense, pure energy, only a simple venting of malice.
Faced with the giant cross-slash that tore through the sea's surface, Muramasa's eyes showed no panic. He merely glanced at the girl behind him, then took a deep breath. His left hand flashed, and together with his right arm, he braced the demon blade.
BOOM—!!!
A deafening explosion roared between the sea and the sky! A turbulent flow of green energy swept in all directions, creating monstrous waves.
"Hmph… that sword in his hand is strange, and it's in the Amenoma style…" Relaxing, he recalled his actions from years ago, believing the blade was forged from an Amenoma blueprint. "Hmph, I should have just destroyed that blueprint back then."
As he was musing, a voice appeared almost out of thin air. "You really are a dark-hearted person."
What? Those were the only two words that had time to flash through his mind.

A faint sound of something tearing through the air, almost completely drowned out by the roar of the energy storm, was heard! A streak of silvery cold light, swift as lightning, shot through the waves and accurately embedded itself in front of him. But it lacked momentum, and only the tip pierced the surface. However, the speed was too fast, the angle too cunning. It had perfectly seized the moment when the Balladeer was smug, his thoughts scattered, and his defense at its weakest!
The Balladeer's pupils contracted violently! An instinctive chill shot up his spine! He didn't even have time to think where the attack came from, let alone understand where the voice had come from. He even forgot to control the giant body, only crossing his slender arms in front of his chest to block.
"Though that kind of 'blueprint' was never important, to resort to such a lowly trick, you must be bored out of your mind."
The next moment, countless aether particles converged before him, forming an 'equivalent' Muramasa, but the 'Yaegaki' in his hand was gone. The demon blade had been thrown backward the moment it blocked the energy slash, entrusted to the strategist girl behind him, while he himself had dematerialized and teleported in front of the Balladeer.

Azure particles converged in his palm at the same time as his form. A nodachi, longer and larger than a normal tachi, was drawn from thin air. However, Muramasa had no intention of clashing with him head-on. He leaped up from before him, dodging the furious blow.

The movements of the giant body became more and more fluid. He almost instinctively raised his two swords and slashed upwards in a cross pattern, attempting to scissor the leaping Muramasa!
However, Muramasa was a step faster. As if predicting the trajectory of the blades, he lightly and swiftly passed through the fatal gap between the closing swords, over his head.
The moment his body fell, level with the giant's head, he swung his sword like lightning. A condensed slash of light accurately struck the elbow joint of the left giant arm.
It was severed. The extended blade did not disappoint.
Muramasa's figure did not stop. Using the recoil from severing one arm, he did a neat spin in the air. The blade, almost as tall as a man, drew an even sharper arc of light, straight for the base of the only remaining complete arm on the giant's right side.
Completely different from the smooth severing of the left arm, this time the blade only sank halfway into the emerald green energy before it could go no further.
"Don't even think!" Realizing the clumsiness of the huge body, the Balladeer gritted his teeth and squeezed out more energy, concentrating it behind the giant's body. The next moment, two new, thicker, and more intricately structured emerald-green energy arms burst forth from behind the giant's shoulders!
Then, these new arms repeated the previous action.
VWOOM—!
Two more ear-piercing shrieks! Two more giant energy blades took shape in these new hands.
"Mr. Muramasa!" Kokomi's urgent voice came to his ears. At the same time, several azure points of light appeared on the 'False God' in his eyes. "That Fatui does not have a deep enough control over this thing. He cannot control its body freely and can only rely on instinct to repair it. I have already sensed several key connection points of that energy. As long as you can sever them in a short time, it will be done! But you must be quick—he is diverting energy to construct the body. Now is the time!"
"Understood."
Before Kokomi could finish, Muramasa had already raised his right arm to the sky. From his fingertips to his body, a total of twenty-seven magic circuits simultaneously burst into a fluorescent glow.
