IN THE NIGHT BASRA-
And with commander Whitaker and others, he was looking at the monitors, in front of him, and the intelligent officer Elena stood beside him with others controlling other monitors and drones.
" Report molerats ." Commander Whitaker asked, looking at the night operation team on the screen.
" Molerats report, entering the tunnel." and a group of militants in blackwearing heavy equipment entered the dark tunnels.
" Report Wallspiders ." The commander asked again, looking at the second group of monitors.
" Wallspiders report entering the building." And a group of militants wearing the same gear with little differences according to terrain entered a populated building.
" Report waterlizard. " And the commander looked at a screen in the middle.
" Waterlizard reports, entering the river from the West." And a ground of water marines enter the city through water wearing blue camouflage suits with water proof equipment. And his eyes stayed on this screen the longest.
" Airhawks report." And he looked at the remote stealth drone operators.
" Clear." Said one of the operators.
" Listen every unit, you have to be careful, the sealant has high grade equipment and abnormal bombs. Airhawks, their role is to snipe the people in high ground and patrol plant, gave reconnaissance on the situation."
" Waterlizard, your duty is to find the bomb hidden in the city. Wallspiders find out the hidden locations of enemy strongholds and strangle them silently. Molerats, you are the backup for all, if anything happens, you'll be the first to respond and first to blame, am I clear?" And everyone said it clearly.
And after saying all this he looked at Elena and asked.
" What's the response from the Pentagon? Did they get the channel where they got this equipment? " and she shook his head in a negative way.
" Negatively, the Pentagon detached a shipment of supplies, but they didn't find it's origins."
" Didn't find its origin? I smell fish!" He cursed.
" What nonsense! There is definitely something wrong." And he looked at the screens again.
" Everyone be vigilant and find the bomb as soon as possible, I don't wanna see any news about Krish saving the day again, so do your job and let's leave this hellhole safely."
And after saying this they continued their job.
They were agile and stealthy. The first to encounter the enemy were wallspiders, and they found a person looking out the balcony fully covered and a gun strapped to his back. The one in the lead immediately shot him down with a silencer, and they continued, killing the one they got and checking the houses one by one. And on the other side, the molerats came out from the tunnels and took down a man standing in the sideways, the airhawks located several sleeping figures on the top of buildings, their drones small muzzles pointing at them. And the decapitation operation was going too smoothly for his reaction.
" Waterlizard, did you find something?" and the person in the river answered.
" Not yet commander."
" Keep searching." He said and then looked at Elena.
" Torres, is there anything going around, did you get the images of the shipment they got, and keep them away from those drones of there." And she replied in negative.
He looked at the screens again, and his heart which was uneasy before became restless.
" Waterlizard, have you reached the location?"
" In a minute sir." And Whitaker nodded.
" Carlton, be careful. Things are looking difficult. " And the waterlizard who was Carlton Reed, nodded.
And with Molerats they entered the tunnel deeper and found concrete and several piles of debris.
" Molerats reports, we found something." And he looked at the debris which looked freshly excavated.
" Look carefully." Said Whitaker.
And on the other side with wallspiders, they were killing people left and right without any resistance when one of them felt a little off.
" There is something off." Said one of the molerats, and this got Whitaker's attention.
" What happened?" But before he could answer, he got reports from molerats.
And the molerats in the tunnel found a drugged tunnel which seems endless.
" Molerats reports, we found a freshly excavated tunnel leading out of the city."
" What?" Whitaker was surprised and a little bit angry, he went close and checked the screen closely, indeed there was a new tunnel.
Just as he was looking at it clearly, Elena got a message.
" Sir, you should see this."
And with wallspiders, one of them checked the deadbody.
Whitaker checked the message given by Elena, and he saw in the image there was a minty tunnel machine and several weapons crates.
And with molerats, they removed the mask of the dead terrorist and they saw his face was sealed with tape, and his face bruised.
And the Airhawks also saw something off. One of the terrorists was struggling, he looked closely and found he was tied to ropes.
" Commander." The operator said.
And with waterlizard, they reached the middle of the city, and entered the basement of the town hall, and they heard sound people murmuring, and they found it really suspicious. One of them used a spy gun to see inside, and found a huge Hall filled with refugees.
" Waterlizard reports, there is a hostage situation in town hall, I repeat there is hostage situation in the town hall." And when Whitaker got this information, he immediately looked at the screen.
" show me." And he saw thousands of people huddle in the hall. He looked around and found no gunman there. And he found it very suspicious.
There were just too many coincidences and too many problems.
" Retreat." He ordered, and every unit got this news. All of them agreed but not the waterlizard, they didn't know the situation outside, a separate group of them had reached the place where they suspected the bomb should be, and they found the bomb, and something really weird. There were several bloodlines in the floor and ceiling, it wasn't random, it was like it was painted. One of them checked it was blood, and something in Arabic was written with it. The whole basement gives an ominous vibe. Carlton's eye landed on the bomb in the middle, which was totally different. It was black and had weird tubs around it, and the floor which it was in was most heavily painted, his eyes trailed above, and in the wall behind the bomb, was painted two words in blood.
" False God."
His eyes lowered and landed on the bomb, and the timer on it, and it was counting down.
And just as Carlton sees the timer, they get the order to retreat. Carlton was about to nod when he saw the dial on the bomb showed the number rapidly falling, and soon reached zero.
" No." And before anyone can do anything. The bomb exploded. And exploded the city and the petrol farm next to town hall.
