After the contract signing, it was hell for the family who were waiting for Ella to unlock that house feature so they could hug her once more. Their father had been going over the contract to pass the time and realized with horror that they had, technically speaking, signed away Ella's body, mind, and soul. Meaning once Ella "died" in-game, or the company found that her life support cost more than what she made. Apparently, the money she earned from the games would first pay for her life support, and then the rest would go to the family. So what would happen is that they would put her brain in a sort of incubator that would keep her brain alive so they could use it to host a game instance and create a new instance. Her body would be essentially used as an organ donor for the highest bidder, and her eggs would be matched with a compatible sperm donor. Where the babies would then be raised into loyal employees and potential servers for the game. Her "soul" would be used and turned into an NPC for a game instance or for several different Instance NPCs. However, there was a catch where if the family could pay the estimated cost of Ella's life course, then they could at the very least buy her body back. Ella's family tried to save up but soon realized the amount went well over a trillion dollars. They still tried to save for it, so they wound up spending less time with her online. However, they all watched her when she played games. It had barely been a week since she had been signed when they got to hug her. They could tell the company had made sure that she couldn't see what day or time it was, so that she would do more in less time. Such as making new instances or playing games. So that way, they benefited from her the most. However, slowly the family began to care less as Jacob and Riri had to work extremely hard with several upcoming projects, Ella's Parents began using the money the company sent for luxuries they normally couldn't afford, and soon became addicted to it. Still, the family saved so that Riri's future kids and Jacob's future child could hug their aunt without needing a screen to see her. Granted, Ella's father often drank a lot since he was the main reason that Ella even wound up in this situation. On Ella's birthday, they discovered that Ella's mother was pregnant and had to hold off going to her to tell her since Ella was a stressful topic in the household.
