Mortis Seraphs and Night Stalkers weren't supposed to be anywhere near this zone. Mortis Seraphs were nest-creatures, born from a mutated virus that ravaged Earth while they were still up in Kovara.
They spread by biting, moving in swarms deep within the blacklisted danger zones. Entire sectors had been sealed off just to keep them from wiping out what remained of humanity. They were far more powerful than the Hollowed.
Night Stalkers were different. They had thin silhouettes with elongated limbs, moving with a silence that didn't seem natural until they attacked. They blended into the environment like shadow-made chameleons, watching from the dark with hunger.
Their touch induced paralysis. And they hunted alone, preferring the thrill of the chase over multiplying. They were a small population … but deadly.
