Chapter 139 - Pleasant communication.

The sickening scent of iron and char from the war was finally replaced by the rich, mellow aroma of coffee brewing in Tony's lakeside Villa.

Flames in the fireplace crackled in the huge, floor-to-ceiling hearth, illuminating two groups of people, some sitting, some standing, in various postures.

A Strange atmosphere hung in the air; the relief of surviving a disaster was replaced by a deeper curiosity and probing.

The Avengers—Steve, Thor, Banner (Green Dr.), Clint, Rhodes, Sam, Pepper Potts, Peter, Doctor Strange, Wong, Carol, Valkyrie, and Wanda—all had their eyes on Chen Tian.

The local Tony lay on a sickbed, his injuries quite severe; the immense energy generated by the convergence of the six Infinity Stones had almost carbonized his right hand and the right half of his body.

It should be noted that even Green Dr., who was a fusion of Banner and Hulk, could not fully recover from the snap's damage in a short period.

Fortunately, the arrival of the Time Travel Version Tony prevented Iron Man from making a heroic sacrifice.

At this moment, the two Tonys stood together, one lying on the bed, the other standing beside him.

His face was a bit pale, but his sharp tongue was in full force as he spoke to his slightly younger self: "Hey, Baby Tin Can! You know our personality, do you expect me to thank you? Impossible, you ruined a famous moment for me."

He frowned slightly; because the nanomedical robots could not heal his wounds, the adrenaline from the battle had faded, allowing the pain to resurface. His forehead was covered in cold sweat, but a smile still tugged at the corner of his mouth.

"But seriously, the armor is cool, but tell me, how much did it cost?"

"Money??" The Time Travel Version Tony scoffed, "I really doubt if you're me anymore. Is money something we'd even consider?"

The local Tony was stunned, then burst into laughter, saying, "You're right! I can be 100% sure you're me, just from another Universe."

Perhaps due to the laughter, which pulled at his wounds, the local Tony's expression instantly contorted, and cold sweat drenched the bedsheet beneath him like rain.

"Hey, Old Iron Can, you can't act tough anymore. Think about Pepper and our daughter," the Time Travel Version Tony quickly said, looking at the local Tony's pained expression.

The local Tony was already 53 years old; even with years of exercise and lavish maintenance, his physical condition couldn't turn him into a non-human like Hulk.

Upon hearing the Time Travel Version Tony's words, the local Tony forced a grim smile: "Don't worry, the only one who can kill the great Tony Stark is Tony Stark."

The Time Travel Version Tony rolled his eyes and retorted, "You're killing yourself to achieve that."

Then, he looked at Chen Tian, who was standing on the other side of the sickbed, "Kid, are you sure you can handle it?"

Chen Tian was originally enjoying the two Tonys' bickering when he was suddenly cued, looking a bit bewildered, then quickly reacted, "Ah, no problem, no problem, don't worry, I specifically set this coordinate to come and save him."

"Then what are you waiting for?" The Time Travel Version Tony frowned.

"Hehe, watching you two bicker is quite entertaining." Chen Tian scratched his head with a smile, his honest demeanor completely unlike the guy who had toyed with Thanos like a major villain on the battlefield earlier.

Both Tonys rolled their eyes in unison, the local Tony said, "Kid, if you can cure me, I'll definitely bring out my best wine to treat you."

The Time Travel Version Tony added from the side: "No need for wine, he won't appreciate it. Just provide him with cola, potato chips, games, and limited-edition figurines, and he'll be happy for a long time."

"Uh, are you sure you didn't mispeak?" The local Tony looked at the smiling Chen Tian in surprise, then turned to ask the Time Travel Version Tony.

The Time Travel Version Tony rolled his eyes, "He and I have known each other for seven years since that cave in Afghanistan. Do you know what he asked for when I told him he could ask for anything after coming out of that cave in Afghanistan?"

"What?" This was Rhodes asking.

"An arcade filled with all the games and figurines." The Time Travel Version Tony recalled his somewhat dumbfounded expression when Chen Tian made his request in the moldy Base in Afghanistan. "I even had Maxim's two twins help him lose his virginity."

"Hey! Don't make me release the video of you dancing in the Kitty Cat armor!" Chen Tian jumped up and down. The entire living room instantly erupted in laughter, even Tony on the sickbed was grimacing in pain but still laughing.

"Holy shit!" Rhodes almost spilled his coffee cup, "Tony, you actually—"

"Fake! It's definitely AI deepfake!" The Time Travel Version Tony's face was awkward, and his nanotech armor began to partially cover his face.

Spider-Man slapped his thigh, laughing, "Mr. Stark, this is even more exciting than the battle just now!"

Pepper shot a glare, and the entire room instantly fell silent.

She tapped the sickbed railing: "Let's talk about it after the treatment at the party. Right now—" Her gaze swept over Chen Tian, "Can you treat this elderly man now?"

Chen Tian instantly cowered, quickly pulling out an emerald green Stone from the void. Doctor Strange's eyebrows twitched: "What kind of magic is this? This is clearly stealing my..."

"Behold my Time Reversal!" Chen Tian suddenly had a bout of chunibyo, the Stone floating and spinning in his palm, "Witness the moment of miracle—"

Green light enveloped the local Tony's right side of his body, and the charred skin regenerated as if a video was being played in reverse.

"Done!" Chen Tian suddenly stopped, leaving a fingernail-sized scar on Tony's right arm.

The Time Travel Version Tony narrowed his eyes: "You little rascal, was that intentional?"

"This is called a man's medal of honor." Chen Tian raised his left hand, and a holographic projection popped up on his wristband, revealing a screenshot of the Kitty Cat armor. "Now, can we discuss the arcade renovation plan?"

Both Tonys said in unison: "FUX you kid!"

The living room was soon filled with buffet tables, drink carts, and soft music.

The two Banners—the local Hulk form (Green Dr.), and the Time Travel Version, slightly scholarly Bruce Banner in a loose shirt—were huddled together over a tablet computer.

"So," the Time Travel Version Banner looked at the tablet Green Dr. provided, "you forcibly induced fusion through a phase difference in gamma ray frequency?"

"Uh… pretty much?" Green Dr. scratched the back of his head, a bit embarrassed, "Mainly because Hulk… got tired of playing, and thought arguing was too childish?"

A glint of wisdom flashed in the Time Travel Version Banner's glasses: "An exquisite energy field constraint model! I must write this down…"

On the other side, two single sofas were separated by a small coffee table.

The silver-haired, blue-trench-coated Vergil sat upright, a bone china cup steaming in his hand, sipping Earl Grey tea delicately, his posture as elegant as if attending a royal tea party.

Across from him, the black, spiky-haired old man sat cross-legged, holding a small Japanese tea bowl, expressionlessly slurping thick green matcha.

The aroma of bergamot from the black tea and the slightly bitter, grassy scent of matcha were distinctly separate in the air, and a silent aura flowed between the two, requiring no words.

"Kiana, can you tell me how you did that Singularity creation? That was so cool, I never thought it could be artificially created…" Spider-Man Peter gesticulated wildly around Kiana, his mouth like a super motor.

Kiana, who had just reverted from her Herrscher state to her normal girl form, had a fluffy head of white hair, her pretty face scrunched up, her hands tightly covering her ears, emitting a painful wail: "Ahhh! Shut up! Fly-man! Go away! Stay away from me!"

She raised her foot as if to kick, and Peter nimbly bounced away, not forgetting to add: "…And those golden and black light spears behind you! Oh, Kiana, your light wings just now…"

In the corner, Barton leaned against the floor-to-ceiling window, holding a wine glass, his gaze drawn like a magnet, firmly fixed on the Time Travel Version Natasha nearby, who was holding a plate and selecting food.

His eyes were red, and his Adam's apple bobbed silently a few times.

The Time Travel Version Natasha keenly sensed the overly heavy gaze. She put down her fork, turned to look at Hawkeye, and her red lips curved into a questioning arc: "Clint? That look… Is there caviar on my face, or do I look like a creditor you owe gambling debts to?"

Barton took a deep breath, his voice hoarse, so low it was almost drowned out by the crackling of the fireplace: "No… It's just… it's good to see you, Nat."

He paused, the liquid in his glass swayed, "Our… our Natasha here, to get the Soul Stone… she jumped off the cliff of Vormir."

The casual smile on the Time Travel Version Natasha's face froze, then slowly faded. Her beautiful eyes trembled slightly, her gaze passing over Barton to Chen Tian in the distance, who was whispering something to Pepper.

"…I see." She let out a soft breath, her voice lowering, "No wonder he's like a cosmic-level jewel thief, specifically crossing Worlds to 'borrow' Stones."

Her fingertips unconsciously traced the edge of the plate, leaving a cold Mark. Silence spread between the two, carrying a heavy sense of remembrance.

"Hey! Look everyone!" Rocket Raccoon had jumped onto the coffee table in the center of the living room at some point, his small paws proudly holding a metal object—it was Thanos's helmet, still stained with some suspicious purple goo.

The party atmosphere paused slightly, then was broken by Thor's hearty laughter: "Ha! Good loot! Worth another round of mead!"

Dante laughed loudly, "This one can probably sell for a lot of money."

Rocket's eyes lit up, pointing at Dante, "Hey, white-haired uncle, a million times cooler than Quill, you have excellent taste!"

Bayonetta, holding a glass of red wine, approached the two Tonys who were intensely discussing armor technology and energy technology, and poked the Time Travel Version Tony's shoulder with her fingertip.

Vergil and Ban in the corner both frowned slightly; one disdainfully put down his black tea, while the other expressionlessly took another sip of matcha.

Both Tonys looked at Bayonetta simultaneously, only to see her with a slightly dangerous smile, "Heh, Tony, I just heard you say that you helped my dear break his virginity?"

The Time Travel Version Tony's expression froze, "Uh, this, that…"

Bayonetta's lips curved, "I see. When we go back~ I'll add some 'hell technology' to your armor~" After speaking, she turned and walked towards Chen Tian.

The Time Travel Version Tony stretched out his hand like Er Kang, "No~~~~"

The local Tony had a black man's questioning expression.

Chen Tian strolled over, holding Morgan who was gnawing on a cake with one hand, and plopped into a beanbag chair opposite the Avengers' small circle. Little Morgan's cream-smeared paws left several greasy plum blossom prints on his clothes.

"Sorry everyone," Chen Tian placed the little one on the carpet and casually handed her a macaron, "I just got audited by the CEO for half an hour." He nudged the Time Travel Version Tony, who was trying to explain to Bayonetta, "Tony's family status, tsk."

Steve's hand, holding a juice cup, paused: "Tony already explained the parallel Universe thing."

"Then that's easy!" Chen Tian wiped his hands with a wet wipe, smiling innocently, "Let's discuss something with everyone—" His fingertip suddenly projected a hologram, six Stones rotating and enlarging, finally settling on the orange Soul Stone, "Can we borrow this thing to play with?"

"Pfft—!" Rhodes spat out half a mouthful of whiskey.

Wong's pastry 'thudded' onto his pants.

Doctor Strange's levitating cloak suddenly stood up like an exclamation Mark.

"Young man," Strange stared intently at Chen Tian, "you said 'borrow' just now, not 'steal,' right?"

"Of course!" Chen Tian counted on his fingers, "Our World is also in trouble, so just like you, we travel to other timelines to borrow Stones, and we only lack a Soul Stone."

Carol slammed the table and stood up: "Do you know whose blood is on that Stone?"

The air instantly tensed. Barton in the corner crushed his glass.

"I know, the Natasha of your World and," Chen Tian looked at Star-Lord, who was trying to appease Gamora, "Gamora's soul."

"Clink."

Steve placed his juice cup on the coffee table with a crisp sound. His brows were tightly furrowed, as if looking at a lunatic: "You know the cost, and you still propose it?"

"Of course," Chen Tian said matter-of-factly, swiping his finger across the projection, and the scene instantly switched.

It was Chen Tian's World.

Superman of the Injustice League soared in the air, a heat Vision sweeping through criminals and innocent civilians alike. Wonder Woman went on a killing spree in a Gotham City gang, accidentally detonating a bomb, causing citizens who were still working hard in the gang's district to be blown away by the explosion.

"There, our hometown." Chen Tian pointed at the holographic projection, "Thanos, whom you fought, was crushed by me years ago. But you can't stop someone even crazier—Ultron from a certain Universe, who collected all six Stones, wanting to destroy countless parallel Universes, and the result is," he scoffed.

"He was killed by me. Before he died, he used five Stones as fuel to forcibly 'stitch' our World and other unlucky Worlds together, wanting to drag us down with him."

Only the crackling of burning wood in the fireplace remained in the living room; everyone was stunned by the scene in the projection. Rhodes's Adam's apple bobbed, and he asked with difficulty, "Then… what about your own Soul Stone?"

"It's there," Chen Tian nodded, swiping his finger again, and the projection locked onto the familiar, eerie cliff top of Vormir, "There it is, being enshrined."

The image zoomed in, and Red Skull's translucent ghostly figure floated aimlessly around the stone pillar.

"I know the location of the Soul Stone; it is perfectly intact there." Chen Tian said calmly.

"Then the sacrifice…" Wanda's voice was a bit tight; she thought of the deceased Vision and Natasha.

Chen Tian abruptly interrupted her, his eyes sweeping over the pale-faced Barton and the complex-expressioned Gamora: "Our lives are precious! Why should we be sacrifices for that broken Stone?"

His tone suddenly rose, carrying a hint of ruffian indifference, "I'd rather cross Universes to be a 'professional gem borrower' than fill that damn hole!"

His finger heavily poked the Soul Stone on the projection: "So, borrow! Just for a few days! Fix our damn 'seam' over there, and I guarantee it'll be returned intact! You can pick any collateral—do you want Celestial core fragments? Apokolips warship technology? Or..."

"Help you clean up the Universe?"

Doctor Strange stared intently at Chen Tian: "What's your guarantee?"

"Guarantee?" Chen Tian scratched his head in confusion, "Um, everyone, did you forget something?"

He twisted his wrist, and the six Infinity Stones he had obtained from the native Tony Stark circled around his wrist.

"Your World's Infinity Stones are already in my hand, you know."

Carol Danvers's body began to surge with light energy, Rhodes subconsciously reached for his lower back (though there was no gun there), and Pepper looked nervously at Tony.

The atmosphere in the entire living room suddenly dropped to freezing point, colder than the "Death premonition" Bayonetta had just given Tony.

"Hand over the Stones!" Carol's voice exploded like a photon cannon, golden flames instantly covered her entire body, and the crystal pendants of the dining room chandelier crackled and shattered. She floated up, and Wanda's scarlet energy on the sofa instinctively surged into a shield, enveloping Pepper and little Morgan.

Chen Tian didn't even lift his eyes. He sighed, and with a casual flick of his wrist—the six suspended, circling Infinity Stones vanished without a trace, as if erased by an eraser.

"Captain Danvers," he spread his hands, "Honestly, I really want to have a good chat with you. For example..." His fingertip brought up a new holographic blueprint, which was a three-dimensional anatomical diagram of Carol's suit, "How about adding an imaginary number amplification ring to your photon energy core? Or..."

The screen switched to a structural diagram of Tony's chest reactor, with complex energy conduits highlighted in red, "Upgrade the Arc Reactor, reduce energy consumption by 70%, and triple the output?"

Every time he spoke, a vein throbbed on Strange's forehead—he had only seen fragments of the dimensional runes mixed in those designs in the forbidden section of Kamar-Taj.

"If I really wanted to do something," Chen Tian finally looked up, his gaze sweeping over the ready-to-act crowd, "Do you think..." He lightly tapped his right index finger on his temple.

"Snap!!!"

It wasn't an explosion, but Bayonetta's finger snap, Witch Time.

The fireplace flames solidified, the spilled wine hung in mid-air, and even the photon energy boiling around Carol froze into twisted golden ice sculptures.

The entire living room became an ultra-high-definition holographic still frame, with only Chen Tian slowly getting up and walking in front of the frozen Carol.

"Carol," he said softly to the proud Captain Marvel, his voice exceptionally clear in the dead silence, "You can't even break my Bayonetta's 'time stop.'" He snapped his fingers.

The torrent of time surged! The solidified flames suddenly shot up, the wine splattered down, Carol stumbled a step, the flames around her flickered erratically, and the color drained from her face—she hadn't even sensed the energy fluctuation!

The Avengers were collectively speechless, Rhodes subconsciously touched his neck, as if an invisible guillotine had been hanging there just now.

"So," Chen Tian sat back on the sofa, Morgan crawled onto his lap, her little paws smearing cream all over his face, "how about something practical?"

He licked the cream from the corner of his mouth and opened a new blueprint, "How about upgrading Colonel Rhodes's War Machine with an anti-void coating? It could withstand three planetary-level main cannon shots."

He then pointed at Sam's Falcon wings, "And add some sub-space folding thrusters? I can't promise light speed, but one-eighth is certainly possible."

Sam and Rhodes exchanged glances, their Adam's apples bobbing in sync.

"As for us," Chen Tian rubbed Morgan's hair, smiling without any aggression, "the Arbitrators—that's your Avengers here." He winked at a complex-faced Steve, "Our business scope is similar, dealing with World-ending crises and cleaning up cross-dimensional messes. But the concentration of lunatics is a bit higher where we are."

He pointed to the purple-black rift (rifts) churning in the projection of the stitched-up Universe, "We have to fight things like this on a daily basis."

The silent Steve suddenly spoke, his one eye, hawk-like, fixed on Chen Tian: "I can trust you, but can you guarantee that the Stones will definitely be returned?"

"Of course! For that, I've also provided some collateral that doesn't need to be returned." Chen Tian snapped his fingers.

The space in the center of the living room was cut open as if by an invisible blade, with nebulae swirling within the rift.

A slender, jade-like hand, holding a USB stick, threw it out.

Chen Tian took it and threw it to Steve.

"All our latest technological data, emm..." Chen Tian rubbed his chin, "Although it's not very comprehensive, because I considered that some data might attract the covetousness of other major villains in your World. If those villains get it, your World might encounter enemies even more terrifying than Thanos."

Chen Tian's words made the atmosphere in the living room tense again.

Collateral that doesn't need to be returned? Latest technological data? This sounded too generous, making people even more suspicious.

Steve's brows were tightly furrowed, Rhodes and Sam exchanged wary glances, Strange's golden halo at his fingertips slowly rotated, and even the flames on Carol's body dimmed a few shades.

All the Avengers knew that power was never a free lunch, especially unimaginable technological power from another World.

The native Tony broke the silence.

He didn't speak, but directly took the seemingly ordinary USB stick from Steve's hand and, with still somewhat unsteady but exceptionally firm steps, walked towards his high-tech workbench in the corner of the living room, which glowed with a faint blue light.

Friday thoughtfully slid out a hidden port. Tony took a deep breath, as if calming some inner premonition of shock, then unhesitatingly inserted the USB stick.

Instantly, the main screen of the workbench was completely flooded by a waterfall of data. Complex energy matrices, unheard-of material synthesis pathways, schematics of dimensional folding engines, microscopic control models far beyond nanotechnology... countless symbols and formulas representing the cutting edge of advanced technology scrolled and refreshed wildly.

Tony's eyes, capable of analyzing the structure of all things in the World, were now wide, his pupils contracting sharply in the blue light of the screen.

His fingers unconsciously traced through the air, trying to keep up with the logical chains of the data, and his breathing grew heavy.

"Friday..." Tony's voice trembled slightly, "Analyze the highest priority item... the energy core section."

"Analyzing, Boss." Friday's tone became serious, "Preliminary assessment: The efficiency of this energy matrix model is... 387 times that of the existing Arc Reactor model. Its accompanying defense system, the energy shield, can directly withstand missile attacks. The shield system, combined with mechanical life technology, can automatically repair itself by extracting energy from the core power source when damaged."

Friday's report echoed clearly in the pin-drop silent living room, and those cold assessment words—"387 times," "mechanical life technology," "automatic repair"—made everyone's mouths drop open in surprise.

Tony suddenly turned around, his face grim.

He looked at Chen Tian, his eyes sharp: "Kid, you're right."

He raised the USB stick in his hand, "The stuff in here... if it falls into the hands of certain lunatics, it would definitely be ten thousand times more terrifying than Thanos. The disaster it brings will be chain-reaction and uncontrollable."

He paused, his gaze sweeping over all his companions, finally settling on Chen Tian's face.

Then, he raised a hand and pointed to the transmigrated Tony standing nearby, holding a wine glass with an expression of "what a great show."

"So, I don't trust anyone." The native Tony's voice was low but exceptionally firm, "But I trust myself." He pointed at the transmigrated Tony.

"I've talked to him. The seven years you spent together, everything he's been through, his arrogance, his fear, his changes... and the way he looks at you."

Tony paused, a complex smile on his face, "That bastard might have a foul mouth and be annoying, but at his core, he's still Tony Stark. He hasn't turned into a lunatic, hasn't turned into those monsters we've dealt with."

The transmigrated Tony raised an eyebrow, said nothing, but simply raised his glass to the native Tony, as if acknowledging the assessment.

The native Tony's gaze refocused on Chen Tian: "He trusts you, not because you're strong, nor because these technologies are tempting, but because of the experience of crawling out of hell together. That trust is branded into his bones."

He took a deep breath, as if making a major decision, "He trusts you, so... I trust you too. Kid, take the Soul Stone."

"Tony?!" Steve and Carol almost simultaneously exclaimed, filled with worry.

Tony raised a hand to stop them.

"But!" He stared at Chen Tian, his eyes exceptionally serious, "Once the deadline is up, it must be returned! Not a single one less! This is my bottom line, and it's this Universe's bottom line!"

He took a step forward, his imposing aura pressing, "If you dare to play tricks, or if something happens to the Stones... believe me, we will find your World, and use the 'toys' you've mortgaged here to blast you and your troubles to kingdom come! I guarantee, that scene will definitely be more spectacular than fighting Thanos today!"

The cynical expression on Chen Tian's face disappeared.

He stood up, walked a few steps to Tony, opened his arms, and firmly embraced the native Tony's shoulder, which had just recovered and was still a bit weak.

This action made Tony stiffen for a moment, and also stunned all the Avengers.

"Hey, Old Iron Can!" Chen Tian grinned, showing a mouthful of white teeth, but his eyes held an unusual seriousness.

"Don't worry! I promise! The second we return, in an instant of your time flow here, I'll send the Stones back to you! Returned intact! Just like you originally planned to return the other Stones, not a second off!"

He patted Tony's back hard (making Tony grimace), "I still have that much credibility! Besides, I'm still waiting for your top-tier arcade to open!"

The native Tony was almost suffocated by his embrace and pushed him away in disgust: "You'd better do as you say! And, stay away from my armor designs!"

But the deep-seated doubt in his eyes was, after all, greatly dispelled by Chen Tian's confident promise and that familiar "Old Iron Can" address.

"Friday," Tony ordered, rubbing his sore shoulder, "Draft a cross-Universe Infinity Stone loan and return agreement, archive it with the highest encryption, and synchronize all Avengers members' permissions. Highlight the key terms: the precise return time of the Soul Stone, and the 'sanction clauses' for breach of contract... tsk, especially for this kid's breach of contract, make it prominent! Magnify the font three times! Bold and red! With flashing effects!"

"Agreement generating, Boss. Sanction clauses highlighted: If Chen Tian breaches the contract, authorization to use all non-destructive tracking and cross-dimensional strike technologies within the mortgaged USB stick is granted." Friday responded calmly.

"Perfect!" Tony nodded with satisfaction, then turned to Chen Tian, chin raised, "Kid, sign it!"

Chen Tian looked at the sternly worded, extremely exaggerated agreement on the projection screen, and the dazzlingly large, red, flashing "Sanction Clauses," and his mouth twitched: "...Are all your Stark family agreements this... flamboyant?"

"This is called risk awareness management." Tony said expressionlessly, "Signing or not? If not, the Stone stays."

"Sign! Sign! Can't afford to offend you rich guys!" Chen Tian exaggeratedly sighed, his fingertip quickly swiping across the signature area of the agreement projection, leaving a scrawled but golden-glowing name, accompanied by a simple sketch of a turtle.

The transmigrated Tony leaned over to look at the little turtle and burst out laughing: "Ha! After all these years, your signature is still this broken turtle! No improvement at all!"

As the agreement was signed, the invisible tension in the living room finally seemed to ease.

The sounds of discussion, clinking glasses, and arguments resumed, and the party atmosphere warmed up again.

The two Tonys immediately huddled together, pointing and arguing over the technical data in the USB stick.

Strange and Wong couldn't help but move closer to the workbench, falling into thought as they observed the profound runic models.

Thor, pulling Dante and Rocket, clamored for a second round of mead, but Dante refused.

Chen Tian leaned back on the beanbag chair, watching the lively yet subtly harmonious scene, and let out a soft breath.

"Done?" Bayonetta's lazy voice, with a hint of a smile, echoed in his mind.

"Mm, Old Iron Can agreed." Chen Tian replied mentally, a smile curling his lips, "Prepare to anchor coordinates. After we've dealt with things back home, we'll send the Stones back. Let's set the time for the very next second after we return from this World..."

"Received, darling. By the way," Bayonetta's voice carried a hint of dangerous sweetness, "that Tony who 'broke the ice' for 'my darling'... should I break his armor's left leg first, or his right leg?"

Chen Tian: "...I think you can talk to your Madame Butterfly about it. I think he needs your 'Hell Goth' technology more, really! I'd love to see him in Goth armor. I believe he would too. I'll thank you on his behalf!"

The borrowing of the Soul Stone was a done deal, and Chen Tian's objective had been achieved. Though he could have left directly with the Stone, he still modified this End Game, which had left countless Marvel fans with regrets, and, incidentally, left some small gifts.
