The string of curses that were released not long after all of the Spirits fled from the area were among some of the more creative ones that I had ever heard, and yet there was no time nor spare mental capacity for me to really listen to them properly.
I just knew that things were being said that typically were taken as curses, and the few words that stood out were the usual; those words did nothing to the large green scaled monster that was slowly approaching with clear murderous intent, but it likely helped vent some of the frustration for my comrades.
That orange glow building up between its fang lined jaws was one of the larger causes for those curses, and since there wasn't a whole lot of area around us nor time to do much, we all began to funnel our mana together to create a wall between us and the monster.
