Ren noticed the slight slump in her shoulders and the way her hips moved slower. Her breaths were heavier now and a hint of weariness softened the determination in her eyes. Without a word, he held her by the waist to steady her and also hold her in place as he plunged himself up into her.
She slumped onto him and he held her close, picking up the pace as she reached her peak, before his own release.
As they panted in silence, Ren held Noelle in his arms refusing to let go. Noelle rested lightly on top of Ren, their bodies still humming with the closeness they'd just shared. He cupped her face gently, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear and lowered his lips to hers with a soft, lingering kiss. She sighed against him, their breaths mingling and in that quiet, suspended moment.
Noelle's stomach gave a dramatic growl that could have rivaled a lion's roar. She gasped, pressing a hand to her belly and Ren laughed so hard he nearly fell back onto the bed. "Okay, okay, breakfast it is!" he said, tugging her gently up.
Brushing a stray strand of hair from her face and giving her a quick, teasing kiss, Ren reached for the intercom on the bedside table. "Mr Neo, I would like 2 kopi O kosong and kaya butter toast for two from the usual stall please." Noelle could make out an affirmation from the familiar butler's on the other end of the call before hearing a soft click.
Ren couldn't take his eyes off her. Noelle's long hair fell in soft waves around her shoulders, catching the light in a way that made her seem to glow from within. Her features were delicate, gentle curves of her cheeks, the subtle sweep of her lips and yet every glance at her felt arresting, as if he were noticing them for the first time. In the most perfect way, her body filled out just right, curves and softness that made her look plush and alive, not fragile. Every movement, every laugh, every quiet glance she threw his way seemed to etch her beauty deeper into his mind, leaving him breathless with admiration and a quiet, tender longing.
Noelle brushed her teeth, hair slightly mussed from sleep, when she caught him staring. She paused and gave him a brilliant, mischievous smile, the kind that looked like she'd just discovered her favorite thing in the world. Ren's heart nearly exploded. Her unguarded smile , radiant, full of delight, made him forget everything else, as if the entire morning existed just for that moment.
To anyone else, Noelle might not fit the conventional image of slimness that often floated around in magazines or on the streets: her curves were soft and unapparent beneath her usual clothes, which draped comfortably over her figure without giving anything away. But to Ren, she was mesmerising. The way her body filled out in all the right places, the gentle swell of her curves, the warmth and softness of her skin… it was intoxicating. In the quiet privacy of their shared moments, he saw the real her and every subtle line, every curve, every movement felt perfectly made for him, drawing him in with a magnetic, unspoken allure.
Ren leaned against the doorframe, utterly captivated. Noelle, continued brushing her teeth with her hair slightly mussed from sleep, seemed unaware of him but he couldn't look away. The soft curve of her cheeks, the sparkle in her eyes when she caught his gaze, the simple, effortless way she moved: it was alluring, bewitching. Unable to resist, he stepped closer, wrapping his arms around her from behind and pressing gentle kisses to her cheeks. She let out a muffled laugh through the toothbrush, swatting him playfully but her eyes shone with amusement and Ren's heart raced. He was completely drunk on her, utterly spellbound by every small, perfect detail of her.
Noelle leaned into him, feeling the steady heat of his body seep into hers. He was always warm to the touch, like sunshine that wrapped around her from the inside out, making her forget the chill of the world outside. Every brush of his skin against hers sent a comforting, quiet thrill through her, and she relaxed against him, letting herself simply melt into his warmth. It was the kind of closeness that felt safe, grounding, and… captivating in its quiet, steady way.

Noelle and Ren sat at the dining table, the morning light casting a soft glow over the room. The aroma of kaya toast wafted through the air, sweet and comforting, as Mrs. Tan entered the kitchen carrying a tray.
"Breakfast is here, Miss Noelle, Master Ren," she said with a smile, setting the tray down with a gentle clink of porcelain. On the tray was a stack of kaya toast from the famous stall down the street, wrapped carefully in a paper bag with the stall's signature logo stamped in red.
Noelle's eyes lit up. "Oh, this smells so good!" She couldn't help but smile, excitement bubbling up inside her. She'd been craving it all morning. The stall's kaya toast was legendary, the bread perfectly toasted, the kaya just the right amount of sweetness.
Ren grinned, already reaching for a piece. "It's the best way to start the day," he said, unwrapping a slice of the crisp, golden toast. He pulled it apart, revealing the glistening kaya spread thick between the warm slices. The fragrance of coconut and pandan filled the air, making his mouth water.
Noelle did the same, her fingers brushing the warm toast. "I swear, no one does kaya toast like they do." She dunked her toast into the soft-boiled eggs, watching the yolk spill over the edge. She took a bite, letting the flavors mix in the crunch of the toast, the smoothness of the kaya and the slight saltiness of the egg. "Mmm, this is perfect."
Ren took a sip of his kopi and nodded in agreement. "I'm telling you, they have the formula down. The kaya's just right; not too sweet, not too heavy. And the bread…" He sighed in contentment as he took another bite, enjoying the warm, buttery crunch. "If only we could get this every day."
Mrs. Tan smiled at their approval, watching them with a soft, knowing look. "I'll leave you to enjoy your breakfast, then," she said, stepping out of the room, giving them space to savor their meal.
Noelle and Ren ate in comfortable silence, the only sounds in the room the soft crunch of toast and the occasional sip of coffee. There was something special about this simple tradition. The ritual of ordering from the famous stall, the anticipation, and then the quiet satisfaction of each bite.
Noelle finished her egg and set the spoon down with a soft clink. "You know, I could get used to this every morning."
Ren grinned, wiping his mouth with a napkin. "Well, when you're as spoiled as we are by Mrs. Tan and her connections to the best kaya toast in town, it's hard to imagine anything else."
She laughed, leaning back in her chair, feeling the contentment of the morning settle in. "True. There's nothing like starting the day with kaya toast from that stall. It's the perfect way to kick off a lazy weekend."
"Agreed." Ren nodded, finishing his last bite. "Next time, I'm ordering double."
