"Saki?"
"Aunt Kira?" Kurokawa Saki responded.
"I was worried about you." Aunt Kira gave a kind and soothing smile to her, similar to what Kurokawa Saki showed to Ai not long ago in that building.
"I'm fine, Aunt Kira… I just met a lunatic and… I don't like it." Kurokawa Saki smiled bitterly.
Aunt Kira sighed and patted Kurokawa Saki's shoulder tenderly. "You can't force your view on others. Sometimes, it's useless to argue with people like that, so you can just let them reflect on yourself. A police officer is not responsible for other people's mental health. There's a psychiatrist for a reason."
Kurokawa Saki blinked her eyes and hummed in a low voice.
"I know, I just felt… it's a pity."
If he had been able to see the wider world and not being consumed with his thoughts, he would see that everyone was working together to fulfil their goals and missions.
But he seemed to be unable to see it.
He just felt that his freedom was restricted.
Everyone is restricted for the greater good and… it's better not to think that you're the most miserable one. Because that kind of thoughts will only consume yourself and make you unable to take a step forward.
Wallowing in self pity… in the end, you basically did nothing to change it.
Since you yourself didn't even work for it, why should others work for you?
Kurokawa Saki sighed.
"Would you like to talk about it?" Aunt Kira asked. She was not entirely sure what would make Kurokawa Saki feel better.
"No need, Aunt Kira. It's enough." Kurokawa Saki smiled. "Sorry for worrying you. I'm going to find something to eat."
"Hiromitsu had already prepared some food. You can eat them." Aunt Kira smiled back.
"That's a good idea." Kurokawa Saki nodded and walked out of her room quickly.
Seeing that, Aunt Kira chuckled lightly.
…
It was the cleanup scene.
Megumi Aiko was busy with her own things and the investigation of the case was clearly not over yet. There were still many things that she had to do.
*sigh*
Another day of overtime work.
Meanwhile, no. 8 cleaned up his sniper rifle and left directly.
But before he got far, Akai Shuichi had already blocked his path.
Josh Parker: "..." Where did you get the information of my whereabouts?
It seemed that he came here too early and this made the sharp FBI suspicious.
Tsk.
He felt that his brain was not good enough to deal with this powerful FBI.
