Upon arriving at Moonlight Island, Yun Feng and his group headed to the local village office to inquire about the mysterious client, Asou Keiji...

A young village staff member was responsible for greeting them. Upon hearing the name Asou Keiji, he recalled strangely, "I don't seem to have heard of anyone by that name on the island."

Just then, an older village director walked over and frowned, "What's going on?"

"Director, they're looking for a Mr. Asou Keiji and say they received a request letter from him," the young receptionist explained.

Hearing this, the director was instantly shocked, and with a voice filled with extreme fear, he loudly and tremblingly exclaimed, "What?! Asou Keiji sent them?!?!?!"

The surrounding villagers immediately reacted as if a pot had exploded, pointing at Yun Feng's group, whispering and discussing something.

Aside from Yun Feng, who knew the full story, Kogoro Mouri and the others asked curiously, "It's just a client, what's so surprising?"

"What do you mean, 'surprising'?! Don't you know, that man named Asou Keiji died more than ten years ago!!!" the director said, terrified.

Kogoro Mouri, Ran, and Conan were all greatly alarmed upon hearing this. They immediately asked the director for information about Asou Keiji. After calming down, the director invited them to sit and slowly recounted the events of more than ten years ago.

However, the director only knew the 'possessed' rumors: that the pianist Asou Keiji, as if driven by madness, killed his wife and child, then set fire to the house and played Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata like a madman amidst the raging flames before dying by suicide.

Conan and the others listened intently, but Yun Feng sneered inwardly: Asou Keiji witnessed his entire family being murdered and was then locked inside the burning house. It would be stranger if he didn't go mad. He was merely using the notes he played to denounce the sins of those devils.

Leaving the village office, Kogoro Mouri and Conan were both lost in thought due to the bizarre request, while Ran slowly approached Yun Feng, asking him nervously, "Big Brother Yun, is there really a piano curse?"

Yun Feng gently patted Ran's shoulder and smiled, "If there truly are unresolvable grievances in this world, perhaps Heaven truly will send down punishment to cleanse those devils."

At this point, the relationship between Yun Feng and Ran allowed for these slight intimate gestures without Ran minding.

Conan, however, heard this and said discontentedly, "Teacher Yun Feng, Shinichi-niisan said you're a world-renowned criminal psychology expert. How can you say such unscientific things?"

Conan was a firm atheist and immediately retorted upon hearing Yun Feng's words.

Yun Feng squeezed Conan's cheek hard and teased, "These are adult matters; what would a child like you know?"

He chuckled inwardly: You're acting like a child in front of me, young man. See if I don't teach you a lesson.

Yun Feng previously gained 20 cultivation points from the Shinkansen Incident and the Valentine's Day Incident, and he had added all of them to his physical attributes.

His current physical attributes were: (Normal human attribute values in parentheses)

Cellular Vitality: 20 (10)

Muscle Strength: 20 (10)

Reaction Speed: 10 (10)

Immunity: 10 (10)

Yun Feng had put all his cultivation points into Cellular Vitality and Muscle Strength. He believed that the body's recovery ability, endurance, and physical strength were paramount.

Therefore, Yun Feng's seemingly playful pinch made Conan's cheek truly ache.

Conan glared resentfully at Yun Feng, quickly rubbing his swollen, painful face, thinking to himself: No wonder your female assistant is so violent. Turns out, you, the professor, are quite violent too. But it's a good thing that violent woman didn't come along this time.

Just then, a female doctor walked out of the small clinic ahead, seeing off a child who had come for treatment. Ran quickly went up to her and politely asked, "Hello, I'd like to ask where the civic hall is."

Kogoro Mouri planned to inquire for specific information from the village chief at the civic hall, but he didn't know its exact location. The female doctor paused for a moment, then enthusiastically helped Ran explain the precise location.

Just as Ran was about to leave, the female doctor smiled kindly, "Judging by your accent, you're from Tokyo, right? I also grew up in Tokyo. My name is Asai Narumi, and I'm the island's doctor, with a medical license, you know. The air here is so fresh, much better than the overcrowded city of Tokyo, isn't it?"

As they chatted, Yun Feng's expression was peculiar. He had already determined that this female doctor was the culprit from the original plot, Asou Narumi, currently cross-dressing as Asai Narumi and preparing his revenge plan.

However...

This cross-dressing Dr. Asai Narumi, in a pristine white doctor's uniform over a light purple dress, possessed a slender, curvaceous figure with long, shapely legs. Together, it made him even more beautiful and charming than the most attractive hospital staff Yun Feng had seen before his transmigration...

Someone this cute is actually a boy... How is this even possible...?

Yun Feng felt that many technologies in this world were incredibly advanced. Take this makeup artistry, for example: a boy studying medicine could transform into such a beautiful girl...

Then how excellent must Fujimine Yukiko, Vermouth, and that birdman Kid, who are known for their makeup skills, be? And even more impressive, their teacher, Kuroba Toichi, must be even more amazing...

And... the most terrifying thing is that Xiaoyu said her disguise techniques are second to none in the world...

Good thing... good thing... my chief wife is by my side. All you makeup experts are completely useless. Yun Feng was certain that Yun Xiaoyu, currently hidden, had absolutely already discerned Asai Narumi's true identity.

As Yun Feng's thoughts wandered, Dr. Narumi, as if a floodgate had opened, began telling Ran and the others, "If you plan to go to the civic hall, be careful, because a village chief election is currently underway, and many villagers are protesting."

There were three candidates for village chief:

One was Mr. Shimizu Masato, the fisherman's representative, who held high prestige among the island's residents.

Another was the current village chief, Mr. Kuroiwa Tatsuji, but many villagers were dissatisfied with his governance, hence the protests against him.

The third was the island's wealthiest man, Mr. Kawashima Hideo. Rumor had it he was buying votes with money.

"Another thing to note is that tonight, a memorial service will be held at the civic hall for the late Village Chief Kameyama Ei. They'll be inviting some monks to perform rituals."

As Uncle Mouri and the others listened to Dr. Narumi's introduction, Yun Feng looked at Narumi with a strange expression.

This person has such an unyielding spirit. Kuroiwa, Kawashima, and Kameyama are his mortal enemies, yet he can maintain the same calm smile as before when mentioning them, without even a flicker in his eyes...

After listening, Kogoro Mouri and the others nodded, greeted Yun Feng, and walked towards the civic hall together...

Although only Ran was beside him, Yun Feng could feel Yun Xiaoyu's presence. This didn't mean Yun Feng was so powerful that he could see through Xiaoyu's stealth techniques, but rather that he and Xiaoyu seemed to share a subtle, profound mental connection. They say that 'hearts that beat as one understand each other without words'; it seems that's not purely fictitious.

Xiaoyu...

Tonight, in the civic hall, let everyone tremble before you, the Moon Goddess sent by Heaven!
