"Team A, continue advancing. Team B, stay vigilant. Team C, prepare to respond..."
In New York City, armed helicopters roared through the sky. Inside, squads of heavily armed soldiers stood ready as their commander's voice echoed through their headsets.
"Action, move out!"
On one of the planes, General Ross's eyes were sharp and his cold expression full of determination. The disastrous pursuit of the Hulk years ago had damaged his reputation in the military. This time, Ross would not allow failure.
Bump. Bump.
Soldiers fast-roped down from the helicopters, landing in formation. They quickly organized into tactical squads and advanced along Wickham Avenue.
"Foxhunter Team, stay on alert."
Colonel Rutherford Rudolph, leader of the Foxhunter unit, gestured to his men as his eyes swept the area.
Boom!
A massive figure dropped from the sky. In the stunned eyes of Rutherford's men, a silver-white mechanical arm shot forward with blinding speed. Before the soldiers could react, they were slammed into the ground.
Towering before them was a robot over a hundred meters tall. Its red mechanical eyes glowed ominously. Ultron had already integrated himself with the entire city's data network—New York was now his domain.
"No one is allowed near this place," Ultron's cold voice declared.
From a hatch in his abdomen, swarms of Ultron drones poured into the sky, scattering across the city at incredible speed. New York's streets were locked down within moments.
Ultron's massive body served as both fortress and factory, his abdomen housing an entire assembly plant. Each drone carried a shard of Ultron's data consciousness, making them true extensions of himself. Allens's design had allowed Ultron to reach this terrifying level of integration.
In the sky above, the drones fanned out. Within minutes, the military was overwhelmed and suffered devastating losses.
"Sir, the military forces have been neutralized," Veronica's calm voice reported through Tony Stark's visor. Inside his anti-Hulk armor, Tony's display lit up with images of soldiers being crushed by Ultron's swarm.
"Shit," Tony cursed, stroking his goatee. "The situation's spiraling fast. Doesn't justice always win? In the comics, heroes beat villains half to death without mercy—why can't that happen here in the real world? Damn reality..."
Tony raised his right palm toward Allens.
Boom!
A crimson repulsor blast shot out, the heat warping the air. The anti-Hulk armor's cannons carried enough power to suppress even the Hulk.
"Psychokinesis Barrier."
Allens extended his hand. An invisible wave of psychic energy formed a shimmering shield before him.
Boom!
The repulsor struck, exploding in a burst of fire and shockwaves, but the psychic barrier didn't waver. Tony's confident smirk faltered.
"Well, guys," Tony muttered, voice dripping sarcasm, "this isn't the time for a one-on-one hero scene. Wake up, sweethearts—it's time to fight."
His words snapped the others back to focus. Thor, Captain America, Falcon, the Winter Soldier, and War Machine all tensed, ready for combat.
"Avengers—attack!" Captain America shouted, raising his Vibranium shield high.
Tony charged first, his thrusters igniting as the massive anti-Hulk armor barreled toward Allens with a thunderous swing.
"Too slow."
Allens's cold eyes gleamed as he caught the armored fist effortlessly. With a surge of strength, he yanked the massive suit forward.
Boom!
He slammed his palm onto the armor's faceplate, smashing Tony into the ground and carving a deep crater.
Peng!
Releasing the armor, Allens spun and snatched Captain America's shield out of the air, hurling it skyward.
Boom!
The shield struck Falcon mid-flight, knocking him out of the sky with explosive force.
Bucky rushed in, his cybernetic arm slamming down, but Allens caught it in his left hand. With his right, he grabbed Bucky by the ankles and used him as a shield.
Boom!
Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, smashed into Bucky instead, sending him crashing through a building. At the same time, Allens unleashed a torrent of lightning from his palm, blasting Thor across the street.
In just one exchange, the Avengers lay battered and broken.
"F***k," Tony groaned, hauling his armor out of the crater. "If all villains were this overpowered, maybe we should've joined the other side."
Missiles fired from his suit, streaking toward Allens in a deadly barrage.
"Metal melt."
Allens sneered as his new ability activated. The air shimmered like molten steel, and every missile within twenty meters liquefied before impact.
Peng! Peng! Peng!
Tony, Thor, and Captain America regrouped, launching a desperate three-way assault.
Tony's armored fist, powered by his Arc Reactor, swung at Allens's head. Thor, body crackling with lightning, drove Mjolnir toward his back. Captain America charged head-on, shield in one hand and a Vibranium dagger in the other, aiming straight for Allens's chest.
"Empty Shock."
Allens's expression hardened. He raised his fist and punched the air.
The space around him shattered like glass, a wave of destructive energy erupting outward.
