"I don't want to tell you." Brent whispered and heard Sergei exhale slowly. A gentle hand grabbed his shoulder, giving it a squeeze.
"Is it because you're worried I'll react poorly?" Brent swallowed. It wasn't exactly that, but he couldn't say that wasn't a concern.
"I don't know. It's…a little too broad of a fear." Brent murmured, embarrassed, annoyed, and vulnerable. He felt so damn vulnerable. He felt like everyone was trying to listen in on their conversation. He half imagined that others had their damn ears pressed against the door to listen in on them.
Sergei stepped closer, wrapping his arms slowly around Brent's body. He gave him plenty of time to resist him, push him away and that damn simple thing made Brent's eyes water in frustration. This was why Sergei was better than everyone else. This was why Sergei was in Brent's bed, in Brent's home, in Brent's heart. He let out a shaky breath.
