Staring at Sergei's list, Brent did agree that things could get rather extreme easily if they weren't careful. Lots of the stuff that Sergei had tried, on himself or with others, were related to blood and bruising and hurt. Sergei's mention of long-term bruising probably referred to places like his face which now that Brent was thinking of it, he wasn't comfortable with.
He didn't mind cutting up the man, but slapping him? Hitting him like that? Yeah, that made his stomach roll.
"I think we might have to disagree on the harming part." Brent said and felt Sergei's eyes sharpen.
"How so?" He asked and Brent gave a soft sigh.
"I can probably cut you, but hitting you? Punching you? Off the table." Brent said firmly. "It makes my stomach roll and if I crossed that line I feel like I wouldn't be better than my family." Sergei's eyes widened and he nodded, quickly reaching out his hand to cross it off.
