Yet Mrs. Yan still felt troubled in her heart, so she pulled Mrs. Chen aside and said, "Miss Chen, to express my apologies, why don't you come to my house for dinner? I have just been embroidering some flowers at home and I would like you to help me see how they turned out."
Mrs. Chen didn't want to inconvenience her, but couldn't resist Mrs. Yan's enthusiastic invitation, and had just agreed to go when Ruan Mian arrived.

She heard from her mother that Mrs. Chen was here, and she had specially brought some newly developed incense powder from her aunt in the garrison to discuss with Mrs. Chen.
