Julian Fairchild took up the drink, just as Miles Hughes had said he would, and started to drink.
The man's sensual Adam's apple bobbed up and down, and for some reason, watching it made Maeve Lane a little parched.
The bottle of water quickly reached the bottom.
Maeve Lane shook the empty bottle in her hand, "It's all gone, are you feeling any better?"
"Yeah."
She was also a bit tipsy, but her face didn't look as red as Julian Fairchild's. This state was just right for shooting the scene.
Luckily, in this scene, both she and Julian didn't have too many lines.
Yet, after Julian finished drinking, he didn't withdraw his gaze from Maeve, and perhaps due to drunkenness, he kept staring at her intently.
Those eyes that had enchanted countless young girls were now fixed on her, full of focus and complexity.
As if unwilling to miss even the slightest expression or motion of hers.
Maeve felt a bit uncomfortable, "What are you looking at?"
