Laura Quincy promptly rejected her friend's suggestion, "That's your approach to chasing women, don't apply it to me. When picking her up this afternoon, keep your words to a minimum."
Sean Vaughn pouted reluctantly, "Alright!"
At 4:36 PM, the high-speed train arrived on time at Norcastle Station. Laura Quincy followed the crowd slowly out of the station with her suitcase. The northern winter was indeed much colder than the south.
The only difference was that the south was a damp cold, while the north was dry cold.
As soon as she exited the station, she felt her skin tighten. It truly was the dry climate of the north!
After a few steps, she saw a man in a dark gray wool coat holding a sign with "Laura Quincy" written in large letters. He had eyes that naturally seemed to smile, making him particularly noticeable in the crowd.
Laura Quincy walked over to him and greeted him with a smile, "Hello, thank you."
