Florence Locke felt that maintaining a composed image in front of her apprentice was necessary.
She lowered her face, exuding an aura of authority without anger: "Leave first, or don't come to see me again!"
Julian Sinclair wasn't too pleased upon hearing this.
His face visibly darkened.
But there was no choice, he could only glare harshly at Florence Locke, then reluctantly got up and left.
Once he was gone, Florence Locke breathed a sigh of relief, soothing her own chest.
She felt that continuing like this was not sustainable, but having kept things ambiguous with Julian Sinclair for so long, she was somewhat reluctant to toughen her heart and drive him away.
After decades of purity and desirelessness, she hadn't expected that upon coming to this world, her chastity could not be preserved.
Even so, she couldn't reveal this side of herself in front of her apprentice.
Otherwise, how could her apprentice look at her in the future!
