Thea Shaw woke up in the morning and received an unexpected phone call.
"Thea?"
The voice on the other end sounded like a young woman. Thea tried to recall but couldn't remember, so she said, "It's me. Who's this?"
"Ah, it's Yvonne Lane. Do you remember me?"
Yvonne Lane?
Thea thought for about ten seconds, and some related information emerged from her dusty memories.
It was her elementary school classmate!
Thea had kept in touch with very few of her childhood classmates.
Yvonne Lane was one of them.
When they were little, the two of them had a pretty good relationship. Back then, they sat at the same desk, and whenever one of them had pocket money, they'd treat the other to food. Their friendship was clean and pure, reminiscent of a happy elementary school time.
Thea remembered and laughed, "So, it's you. We haven't been in touch for so many years. Where did you go to school? How did you get my number?"
