September 29, just one day away from the National Day holiday.
Early in the morning, Hu Zhihai posted a handwritten announcement on the front of the "Jiang Family Soup Dumplings" shop on the first floor of the Second Dining Hall.
It's only 6:30, half an hour before breakfast time, and a lot of students have already started lining up in the hall of the Second Dining Hall.
Seeing another notice posted at the shop, the students at the front of the line craned their necks to read what it said.
The students further back couldn't see the words on the notice clearly with the naked eye and were both curious and worried they'd lose their spot if they left the line, so they had a flash of inspiration and took out their phones to snap a photo, then zoomed in to read it.
The students even further back couldn't even get a clear photo, so they shouted:
"What's written on the notice? Is there a new dish again? Someone up front, read it aloud!"
"What new dish? Are you still half asleep?"
