Duke saw the Elizabeth for the first time, and he never imagined that such a colossal structure would be anchored in this sea within the Black Sail's territory.
The Elizabeth, resembling a small continent, did not immediately reveal itself as a ship at first glance, at least not to Duke, who couldn't see its entirety.
Duke accompanied Merrick to a wide plaza.
At the center of the plaza stood a gigantic Light Gate, its interior pitch black, with a vortex slowly rotating within.
Wizards continuously entered and exited, their destinations unknown.
Merrick quickly found Master Land among the surrounding crowd and introduced Duke to him.
"Master Land!" Duke greeted respectfully.
Master Land merely glanced at Duke, nodded slightly, and said, "Hmm."
If not for Duke being Merrick's friend, Master Land probably wouldn't have spared even a glance at this ordinary Wizard Apprentice.
Beside Master Land were four Official Wizards, exuding powerful auras, all belonging to Land's lineage.
