Another heavy muffled sound echoed, and the huge fist once again slammed fiercely into Bell's face, covered by a protective membrane.
The emerald-green light film remained resilient, vibrating and flashing, completely absorbing and neutralizing the terrifying physical impact.
Bell's head, under the protection of the membrane, only recoiled slightly, without suffering any substantive harm.
Yet, for Bell, this was a hundred times more painful than having his skull shattered directly.
He could clearly see Dog-man Reed's coarse fist magnifying before his eyes, feel the wind from the fist brushing the membrane, and even imagine the foul stench on the fist.
This blatant, object-like casual battering insult was unbearable for someone like Bell.
