In the Polar Alliance's ecclesiastical system, both the Father and the Priest hold certain positions, and they are considered equals.
Originally, the two positions stemmed from different branches of the ecclesiastical factions. Later, with the emergence of a powerful Pope in the Polar Alliance religious countries, he unified all the branches while preserving their unique characteristics.
So normally, the Father does not rank higher than the Priest, but this particular Father named Alan Nathan is special; he is very strong.
