In this deep mountain, Saito Dosan built a residence leaning against the steep mountainside. Gu Mo knew very well that the residence was actually constructed to seal the entrance to the mountainside, because inside the mountain was hollow, containing a large natural cave space.
Although no one has ever seen its depths, nor does anyone know what the residence was built to hide, it still stirs the imagination. It's unclear when it started being called the "Viper's Sacred Domain".
Gu Mo had a similar impression of this place; it was full of snakes everywhere. Those creatures called Wet Women, with the upper bodies of women, long hair trailing to the ground, entirely wet, and the lower bodies of snakes' tails, were everywhere. A moment's carelessness could result in one of them suddenly descending from the sky, tightly constricting your body, then opening its blood-red mouth to bite off your head.
