It was a statue of the Goddess of Life. In Wenster's memory, his dreams had occurred many times, mostly hiding from crises.
However, a year ago, during a food search, he stumbled across a jade statue.
The statue dissipated in his hand upon contact, and then he frequently dreamed.
At first, he thought these dreams were a legacy, similar to what every elf receives.
But his Magic Power did not increase, nor did his abilities grow.
He was somewhat disappointed, yet in the dreams, it seemed to pave a path toward the unknown; he believed it was the guidance of the Goddess of Life.
So in each dream, he gradually migrated in the direction of the guidance. Over a year, he steadily and resolutely moved from the Elf Forest in the Land of the Far South to this northern land.
Wenster could feel he was getting closer to the destination of the guidance.
But in the early hours of yesterday, scarlet eyes appeared in his dream, giving him a strong sense of unease.
