Once Shu Xin's family of three left the office, Huang Jincheng looked at Zhao Heng with a smile that was not quite a smile and said, "Xiao Zhao, that can't possibly be your grandmother, right?"
"The director saw right through it."
Zhao Heng chuckled awkwardly. Huang Jincheng had seen his fair share of situations, and if he couldn't tell whether she was Zhao Heng's real grandmother, he would have wasted his years of experience.
"Just say it directly next time, no need for these subterfuges."
Huang Jincheng spoke straightforwardly.
"Got it, Director."
Zhao Heng nodded obediently.
"You are young. While being steady is good, you should still have the sharpness of youth. As doctors, we often say we are here to cure and save lives, but if we can't even take care of the people around us, wouldn't that be a failure?"
Huang Jincheng said with a sigh.
Zhao Heng was the young man he had high hopes for, although it seemed that the anesthesiology department had already claimed him.
