The two of them would either spar with their spear and anchor skills every day, or compete to see who could eat more of the sky island's specialty, roasted cloud fox meat. The hearty laughter of the two often echoed over the huge sky island.
Charlotte Linlin was like a mouse that had fallen into a rice granary. She found that everything on the sky island, whether it was the clouds, the land, or the plants, all had a strange, sweet taste. Under Ren's guidance, she even learned to use her ability to give souls to the cloud soil, creating a living cotton candy that could walk on its own. She had a great time playing with it every day.
Silver was obsessed with the thin air and unpredictable air currents of the sky island. He practiced a higher level of concealment techniques here. Sometimes, he would just stand quietly on the sea of clouds, and his entire person would seem to merge with the clouds and mist, making it difficult for even Newgate's Observation Haki to capture him.
And the two most leisurely guys, Rocks and Newgate, had moved their lounge chairs to the edge of the sky island. They each had a glass of fruit wine made by Ren with the dew from the clouds, and they looked down at the world of mortals below. "Gurararara... this kind of life is not bad," Newgate said, swirling the wine in his glass. "There's food, there's drink, there's a noisy family. It's peaceful."
"Peaceful?" Rocks scoffed. His gaze pierced through the sea of clouds, as if seeing a more distant storm. "This is just the brief calm before the storm. Those old geezers at the World Government are not the type to take a beating and not retaliate."
"Then what are you waiting for?" Newgate glanced at him.
"I'm waiting for a signal. Waiting for... a stage they have meticulously prepared for me," a confident and arrogant light shone in Rocks's eyes. "They think they've set a trap, but they don't know that it's the hunting ground I've been longing for."
Ren had been in the kitchen for the past few days, conducting crazy culinary experiments with the various incredible ingredients from the sky island. He combined the Impact Dials, which could produce high-pressure gas, with the boiling clouds to create a "Wind Dial Broth" that could create a powerful impact in the mouth. Gatz took a sip, burped, and was directly sent flying. He also simmered the "Photosynthesis Ferns," which could absorb and store light energy, with the "Holy Light Rice" of Angel Island to create a "Porridge of Dawn" that could slowly heal wounds and replenish life energy.
Ren knew that the next battle would be the ultimate battle that would decide the fate of this ship. He had to squeeze out everyone's potential to the limit before then.

Several Celestial Dragon families and high-ranking officials of the World Government would be present.
"God Valley?" Rocks looked at the unfamiliar place name, then at the promotional picture on the newspaper that advertised peace and glory. A cruel smile appeared on his face. "Wahahaha! The signal has arrived!"
Newgate also put down his wine glass, his expression becoming grave. "This is too obvious, Rocks. This is a trap."
"I know," Rocks stood up, a flash of arrogant Haki flaring for an instant. "But so what? They've gathered the fattest prey in the world in a small cage and even opened the door wide, for fear that I wouldn't be able to find it. How can I refuse such an invitation?"
Ren walked out of the kitchen. He looked at the newspaper and sighed softly in his heart. What's coming has finally come. He walked over to Rocks and said calmly, "Captain, are you sure you want to go? According to my analysis, almost all the mobile forces of Marine Headquarters are gathering in the sea region near God Valley. Even... even the Roger Pirates, who have always been on the move, their recent sailing trajectory has become extremely strange."
"Roger?" Rocks raised an eyebrow, a hint of excitement in his eyes. "That guy is coming to join the fun too? Perfect! Saves me the trouble of looking for him later!"

Ren looked at all this, knowing that he could no longer change anything with words. All he could do was to use his cooking on that final stage to add the biggest variable to this battle that was destined to go down in history. "In that case," Ren looked up at Rocks, his gaze calm but firm. "Please give me three days before we depart. I want to prepare for everyone... a farewell feast that would make even the gods tremble."
Three days later, on the edge of the sky island, an unprecedented, and one might even say, a feast of all feasts, began above the sea of clouds. The dining table was carved from a single huge island cloud, white and elastic. The chairs were sofa clouds that Ren had asked Linlin to give souls to with her ability, which would automatically adjust to the most comfortable angle. And the dishes on the table were nothing short of miraculous. Every dish contained Ren's highest understanding of the "Soul of the Feast." They were the ultimate weapons he had tailor-made for the upcoming ultimate battle, for every comrade on the ship.
The first dish was for Gatz. It was a huge, bone-in tomahawk steak from a Cloud-Top Giant Rhino, roasted until it was sizzling with fat. The giant rhino was the king of the sky island, immensely powerful. And when Ren was cooking, he had infused it with a pure "Soul of Rage," born only for destruction. Gatz took a bite and felt an explosive power detonate within him. He couldn't help but let out an inhuman roar. His muscles swelled at a visible rate, and dark red, magma-like patterns even appeared on his skin. He felt that he could now punch through this sky island with a single blow.
The second dish was for Silver. It was a bowl of clear fish soup from the "Lake of Serenity." The lake water itself had a calming effect, and Ren had infused it with the "Soul of Silence." Silver took a sip and felt his soul as if it had been stripped from his body and merged with the surrounding wind, clouds, and light. He closed his eyes, and the entire world was presented in his mind in a brand-new form, composed of countless lines and trajectories. His presence completely disappeared. He was standing right there, yet it was as if he did not exist in this world.
