The moon wore a bright glow and the night held enchanted secrets. In the faint glow of the moon a lifeless body had just washed up near a river bank. The blood trail still tainting the gentle trickle of moonlight in the flowing river. There was a pull of blood where the body washed up...
At the Town Guard guest office, the aristocrat's name is revealed as Nejima Samurai, as a guard submits a report of a complete clean up. He stares at the pendant he so proudly reclaimed and to his utter dismay, it suddenly vanishes. His shock soonnturns to a sadistic cackle as he relishes a good war. The pendant appears beside the lifeless body of the inigma, Hajime. The pendant seemed to carry a voice as the voice begins to speak.
" Hmm, you have such an interesting tale my dear master. You mustn't die now. I'll take your blood and I'll change you and give you purpose". As those words were said the wind suddenly picks up in intensity. The voice begins to cast a mystic enchantment over the lifeless body of the inigma.
" The sacred those, blood absorption, divine reanimation!!". The blood pool, once dying the green grasses red, started to rise and gather flowing into the blossom. As the blossom finished the absorption, it suddenly burst it all out as energy, flowing into Hajime's lifeless body and begining a metamorphic shift.
His once dark brown hair assumed a darker hue with strips of magenta as highlights. His lifeless corpse revived and with it a new found power. His
Eyes shined with a new found colour as he gasped for air.
He looked up at the phantom figure of the flower pendant and asked how he could still be alive. He was still confused. Looking at the hollow figure of the being before him, he recognized her. With gratitude, he mustered the voice to ask for his saviour's name.
" I am known by many names. Names that may be lost in the strings of time. However you may refer to me as, Lily, the everblooming".
Hajime proceeded to ask her why she would save someone of his stature. Her only response was one of humble adoration. She was adamant that Hajime was her master, swearing her loyalty to him.
Hajime ever so confused mustered up the courage to ask why a magic relic of her caliber is calling a peasant like him her master.
Lily now realized what was truly going on. With a look of sheer pity she comforted her master with loving smile which only increased Hajime's bewilderment.
Lily decided it was time she told him about the truth of his mother and Father's past. While bound to him not long ago, Lily managed to tap into Hajime's memories and she discovered the truth about his family. Drawing Hajime's attention to an event that happened ten years ago leading to the death of both his parents.
Ten years ago,
A young boy of age eight lived with his mother and father, who was a humble farmer... Their produce was bountiful each harvest and they lived a humble, happy life as a family.
Each day the young boy would go and play with his friend in the mountains and he would always come back right before the sun would set.
However, one day, he lost track of time and came back and hour late. What he saw was indeed tragic. Their humble home, was in flames. He lost all will to move, it was ackin to his very soul being held in place by a heavy force. Tears weld up in his eyes and his cletched fist trembled in agony. After the flame died down, the only remnants of the accident were the ash piles of two bodies and pieces of drained amberscide, a magical crystalline formation used in households for starting fires. The young boy knelt before the Ashe silhouettes of what seemed to be his parent's bodies and wept heavily. After a few hours, it began to rain. A rain heavy and unyielding. It washed away the ashes of his parents and the very emotion in the boy's eyes. With nothing more to gain and nothing more to loose, he stood up to walk away. As he approached the destroyed entrance of the house, he spotted an object that managed to survive the blazing heat. His father's old relic. Before retiring to a life of agriculture, the young boy's father once said he was an adventurer who hid his identity behind that very mask. According to the merchant, it's name was "the inigma's soul". Meaning, the one who hid his sorrow behind a smile. The young boy put on his father's legacy and resolved to drown his pain in a life of free living. A life where he did as he pleased and lived alone, so that he would not loose anything precious to him again"
Hajime still confused asked, "what does this have to do with why I'm able to summon your powers". Lily retorted, " You decided that your parent's death was of coincidentally occurrence, when in fact, you just wanted to run from the truth. The truth that perhaps your parents had more enemies than they thought.... Master, you must know the truth about your parent's past. Your mother, Aurora Floriene was the next in line for the throne of family head. The first female family head in a long time. However, she fell in love with your father, a guard protecting her at that time. Not wanting to marry another, they escaped to the edge of Ambrose, where they started a family, giving birth to you. That day, the were attacked by an organization working under your family. An assassin's guild known as the HUNTING SHADOWS. They killed your parents and faked the crime scene as an accident, burning down the house. You knew your mother by your father's last name Grimm."
Hajime's soul left him. With lifeless eyes he asked a rhetorical question in a low voice; "so, they killed their own daughter and burnt her to ash along with my father?". He let out a loud scream, audible and sorrowful. He slammed both fists on the cold grass, as his sorrow acted as a catalyst for his new found power. His pupils glowed with an abnormal brightness. His body began to resonate with a strange aura. An aura that oozed of his being with such a terrifying intensity.
As his will to restrain his emotion finally snapped, words of sheer vengefulness came out, "I'll end all of them... I'll make sure they all feel the pain my parents felt". He looked up at Lily who was kneeling before him and asked, "if I'm going to kill them all, I'm gonna need power. Real power, you're going to help me achieve that." Hajime stood up and cleaned the dust off his blood stained shirt. It was still wet.
Lily knelt before Hajime and reaffirmed her loyalty to Hajime. With a knew goal, he need a place to operate a place to hide in plane site and pull the strings to his revenge plot.
He decided to visit an old friend in town.
As he leapt from building to building, a mass of dark energy followed, a form of Lily's spiritual energy made manifest. The night held untold stories and undiscovered mysteries. A new chapter of Hajime's life was about to be unlocked.
