The heat rolled across the open ground and Luna could feel it on her face. It was a dry and scorching wave of power.
She just stood there like a statue of stolen, muddy armor. The firelight played across the metal plates on her chest as it glinted off the red rose emblem.
Her face was hidden behind her helmet but her body was completely still. She stood there for a long moment as she just watched the fire burn without making much movement at all.
It was as if she was captivated by the beauty of the destruction it had caused. Or perhaps she was thinking what would have happened if Allen hadn't stopped her from going inside that time.
She kept looking at the flames for a while then a bit later she slowly reached up with both hands, her metal gauntlets were clumsy due to her not being able to be used to this armor.
They scraped against the side of the helmet as she fumbled with the straps under her chin. She unhooked them.
