The night was dark.
Raven ascended the tower and looked down upon the battlefield.
The Heliopolis facilities were in ruins.
Smoke rose into the night sky.
The wreckage of the EOS lay across the facility like a shattered greatsword.
Raven sighed.
Her communicator suddenly buzzed.
Jackal's voice came through.
Jackal: "What are the results?"
Raven looked over the destruction.
Raven: "The Schicksal Valkyrie created a great ruckus. She rammed her shuttle into our facilities."
Jackal: "Is she alive?"
Raven glanced toward the ruins.
Raven: "We found no bodies."
Jackal's response came immediately.
Jackal: "Oldest trick in the book. I hope you aren't fooled by her show."
His voice became colder.
Jackal: "You have 10 hours to salvage the situation before Schicksal arrives in force to exact their vengeance."
A pause.
Jackal: "Need I remind you of what happens if you fail?"
Raven looked back toward the burning facility.
Raven: "They left us with something I need. The experiment remains on schedule."
She stared into the distance.
Raven: "The Serpent shall have its victory."
Somewhere in Arc City — Moments Later
A dimensional portal opened in the darkness.
Kiana and Rita emerged from it.
Dekabreak carried Kiana while Premiere DekaRed carried Rita.
Kamen Rider Zeztz and Dekamaster followed behind them.
The two transparent warriors gently placed their respective passengers on the ground.
Kiana stumbled forward.
She looked toward Rita.
Kiana: "Whoa… you've always been so cold and straight-faced…"
Kiana: "Never took you for a hothead…"
Kiana frowned.
Kiana: "Were you trying to kill yourself just because you felt guilty about your losses?"
She gestured toward the direction of Heliopolis.
Kiana: "Look, I've saved as many of your girls as I could, so stop this crazy nonsense."
Rita calmly adjusted herself.
Rita: "I'm afraid you're mistaken, Miss Kaslana. I do not believe in pointless sacrifices."
She looked toward the ruined facility in the distance.
Rita: "But since this vastly superior enemy will try to hunt us down, I created a show where we fought to the last."
Kiana blinked.
Kiana: "Erm… are you sure they'd believe your show?"
Rita's expression remained composed.
Rita: "Even if they didn't, they'll be busy trying to cover up for that explosion. That means less forces on our tails."
Rita looked toward the darkness surrounding them.
Rita: "Before the World Serpent finds our tracks, we should…"
She stopped.
Her body suddenly trembled.
The color drained from her face.
Rita: "Hngh…"
Her knees gave way.
Kiana's eyes widened.
She rushed forward and caught Rita before she hit the ground.
The battle had finally depleted what little strength remained in Rita's body.
Her consciousness faded.
Rita collapsed into a deep coma.
