### One Week Later
Draven—formerly Daniel—lay in a cradle, staring at the ceiling of his new home with wide, crimson eyes.
White hair.
Dark skin.
Pointed ears.
Red eyes.
And stuck in a baby's body.
*Damn... I still can't believe it.*
*I was actually reborn as a baby.*
*I thought for sure I'd end up in hell after the shit I pulled.*
*After those goddamn bastards killed me...*
He scowled—
or at least, he tried to.
His face scrunched into what was probably nothing more than a cute, grumpy pout.
*...Yeah.*
*I guess I saw it coming.*
*Still pisses me off, though.*
He stared at the ceiling for a moment.
There was no point in staying angry.
He was alive again.
Somehow.
That was what mattered.
Now, he was Draven.
The son of Kaelen and Elliana.
And this was clearly not the Earth he once knew.
Everyone he'd seen so far had long, pointed ears.
Except for his mother, their skin was pale—
unnaturally pale.
Almost like corpses.
*Elves?*
*Vampires?*
*Dark elves?*
*The hell kind of damn story did I get dumped into?*
---
### Ten Years Later
A decade passed in the blink of an eye.
Biologically, Draven was ten.
Physically?
He looked closer to five, thanks to the slow aging of elves.
He now sat inside a vast library, surrounded by ancient tomes, his crimson eyes scanning the pages in front of him.
Over the years, he'd learned quite a bit about the world he had been reborn into.
*Turns out, my father's a Vampire King.*
*My mother's a Dark Elf—also known as a Night Elf.*
*And elves? Yeah, they live ridiculously long lives.*
*Like ten thousand years long.*
*Vampires, on the other hand, are basically immortal—as long as nobody manages to kill them.*
He lazily flipped another page.
He had spent years reading.
With his elven heritage, he had plenty of time to study the world's history, races, magic, and everything else he could get his hands on.
And vampires?
They were particularly interesting.

### Vampire Classifications
**Low-Rank Vampires**
Newly turned or weak-blooded vampires.
They could reattach severed limbs and heal quickly.
However, they were vulnerable to sunlight and most physical attacks.
Compared to higher-ranked vampires, they were relatively easy to kill.
---
**Normal Vampires**
Standard vampires.
They possessed far greater regenerative abilities and could recover from severe injuries—even being cut in half.
However, prolonged exposure to sunlight would burn them to ash.
They could also be killed through decapitation or by driving a stake through the heart.
*Head and heart.*
*Still the weak points.*
---
**High-Rank Vampires**
High blood's.
Powerful vampires who often occupied positions of authority.
Their regeneration was even more extreme.
They could fully regenerate their bodies, including their heads.
They could also withstand sunlight for longer periods, although it still weakened them.
More importantly—
they could move their hearts within their bodies.
Meaning that even if someone managed to drive a stake through their chest...
there was no guarantee they'd hit the heart.
*Harder to kill.*
*Only a pierced heart works... if you can actually find it.*
---
**Purebloods**
Vampires born with pure vampire blood.
Extremely rare.
Highly respected.
They possessed the ability to remove their hearts and hide them elsewhere, making them nearly impossible to kill through conventional means.
Sunlight only irritated them.
As long as their hearts remained intact—
they were truly immortal.
---
**Royal Blood — Legendary**
The first vampire.
A being regarded almost like a god.
According to the records, this legendary vampire possessed the ability to regenerate even his heart.
He was said to possess divine powers, elemental control, and reality-bending blood magic.
Functionally immortal.
More myth than monster.
Draven leaned back slightly.
*All vampires use blood magic.*
*And all of them are freakishly strong.*
He turned another page.
There were other forms of magic in this world as well.
Blood magic belonged primarily to vampires.
Shadow magic was commonly associated with Dark Elves.
Humans possessed elemental magic and holy magic.
And the Forest Elves were known for spirit magic.
*So basically...*
*Everyone gets some kind of cheat ability except me.*
---
### Draven's Unique Bloodline
*With my mixed blood, things get... fucking complicated.*
*My mother's a Dark Elf—a Night Elf.*
*They use shadow magic.*
*My father? The King of Vampires.*
*Red eyes.*
*Black hair.*
*Skin like snow.*
*And me?*
Draven sighed.
*Apparently, I don't have mana.*
*No magical energy.*
*Not even a spark.*
*My parents say I was born without it.*
His crimson eyes lowered toward his hands.
*But... something tells me that's not entirely true.*
*I just haven't tried to learn or even wish to use it yet.*
He had never seriously tested the theory.
Why bother?
He wasn't interested in training.
He wasn't interested in fighting.
He certainly wasn't interested in becoming some legendary warrior.
At least—
not yet.
*I don't want to train.*
*I don't want to fight.*
*I just don't want to do shit.*
*I want to live an easy life.*

### The World So Far
The more Draven learned about the world, the more complicated it became.
Elves hated humans.
Humans enslaved elves.
And the conflict between the two races had existed for generations.
Humans possessed elemental magic.
They also possessed holy magic, which was said to be blessed by the so-called Goddess.
The Holy Empire was especially hostile toward non-human races.
And vampires?
They were considered unholy demons.
Draven turned another page.
*Funny thing is, vampires need blood to survive.*
*Preferably human blood.*
*Though they can drink from other sources.*
*A bunch of freaks with picky palates.*
Fortunately, Draven didn't need blood.
At least, not to survive.
*Perks of being half-elf, I guess.*
He stared blankly at the ceiling carved with ancient runes.
His expression slowly became dull.
*Man...*
*This world's a damn mess.*
*Politics.*
*Racism.*
*Magic.*
*Monster races.*
*Gods.*
*Empires.*
He looked around the enormous library.
Ancient books surrounded him on every side.
And there he was—
a half-vampire, half-elf with supposedly no magic, sitting inside a massive castle and reading dusty books.
*And me?*
*I'm just sitting here in a big-ass castle, reading dusty-ass books like I'm in some kind of detention.*
He sighed.
*Bruh...*
*I'm so fucking bored.*
*I might start talking to the furniture.*
But then—
Draven paused.
His expression softened.
Despite all the absurdity surrounding him...
there was one thing he couldn't deny.
His parents loved him.
Truly.
Deeply.
Without condition.
*I didn't have that in my last life.*
A rare, soft smile touched his lips.
*Guess I don't really give a shit if I'm a mixed-blood.*
*Or if I can't use magic.*
*As long as I have this family...*
*I think I'm good.*
Draven leaned back in his chair.
Then stretched lazily.
Like a cat that had absolutely no intention of doing anything productive.
*Yeah.*
*I'm gonna live this new life to the fullest...*
A pause.
*...by doing absolutely nothing.*
