Sorry I'm in a Rush
Inside the captain's room of the ship, everything was fairly calm.
Moments before, out of nowhere, someone suddenly jumped through the glass window, shattering it before rolling across the floor to absorb the fall. And instantly got back up, with Riptide in hand.
"Where are you, Luke?" Percy said while scanning the room with a dark look, remembering this room from his previous fight with Luke in the same place, which, as always, never truly ended. But maybe now it could finally have the ending it deserved.
But the person he found there wasn't Luke.
It was Alison, who right now looked shocked to see Percy there, while in her hand she held a radio she hadn't activated yet.
Both frowned for barely a second, but she quickly dropped the radio and moved her hands to her waist, pulling out her special daggers.
But Percy didn't stay still and immediately rushed toward her.
Alison threw one of the daggers straight at Percy, but he simply knocked it aside with his sword before ducking, dodging a high kick aimed directly at his head from Alison, who, after missing the strike, rolled across the floor, getting way too close to Percy and grabbing his arm before leaping again, her legs locking around his arm like scissors, trying for a quick takedown.
But Percy easily endured Alison's weight and released Riptide, which had been trapped in that hand, quickly catching it with his free hand instead. Then, using the pommel, he smashed it into Alison's face, making her let go while she shut her eyes in pain.
But even with her eyes closed and falling to the floor, she threw both daggers in her hands point-blank straight toward Percy's chest and face, like defending against one would automatically make the other hit.
But Percy, with an upward slash, easily struck both daggers away, sending them flying. And as if Alison had expected that, the third dagger, the first one she had thrown earlier, returned to her hand and she hurled it straight toward Percy's exposed stomach.
But she seemed to forget Percy had a free hand.
And he simply moved it, catching the dagger effortlessly.
Spinning it once between his fingers before grabbing it by the blade and throwing it directly toward Alison, who only saw a bright flash and heard the sound of something stabbing into the floor right beside her head.
She turned with wide eyes and saw the dagger buried directly beside her head, with only the handle left sticking out, the entire blade sunk into the floor of the ship. Even the metal around it was dented from the force Percy used to throw it.
"You damn monster," Alison said.
Even she seemed to understand Percy was no longer playing around like before.
She turned her gaze back toward Percy, who now had the tip of Riptide aimed at Alison's neck after defeating her with ease.
"Where's Luke?" Percy asked in an icy tone.
"Why should I tell you?" Alison said with a mocking smile, unafraid.
But her expression changed when she felt Percy press the blade harder against her neck, forcing her body even more against the cold floor of the Princess Andromeda.
Alison stared directly into Percy's green eyes, and his gaze made it clear he wasn't joking or playing around. If she pushed him, that sword would easily go through her throat.
"He left half an hour ago." Alison's mocking smile had almost completely vanished.
"Where?" Thalia asked while entering through the main door, kicking it open.
Alison turned her gaze for a moment, looking at Thalia with a faint mocking smile.
"Aaah… Zeus' daughter. Our undisputed king of the Greek pantheon. What's it feel like being used by your own father? Maybe it would've been better to keep living as a damn tree instead of gaining the freedom to become his disposable pawn," Alison said with complete contempt.
"Answer the question," Percy said coldly.
"Or what? You're gonna kill me? Right now I'm the only person who knows where your cute little girlfriend is locked up," Alison said in a mocking tone full of contempt.
Percy stared at Alison while his lips tightened and his gaze looked calm, but there was a storm buried deep inside his eyes.
Percy lifted the edge of his sword, freeing Alison's neck.
She barely let out a breath. After all, no matter how brave someone is, having a sword pressed against your throat is not pleasant at all.
But before she could say or do anything, she saw the pommel of Percy's sword slam into her again before she completely lost consciousness.
"Let's take her with us and interrogate her after we get out of here. We're out of time now," Percy said in an icy tone.
"Time for what?" Thalia asked, because she didn't understand what Percy was planning. Everything about the infiltration had happened way too fast. And there was also whatever he spoke about with Thor that none of the others heard.
Percy didn't answer immediately, but instead looked outside, directly toward the sky, which was rapidly darkening now as storm clouds gathered overhead. The air itself seemed to slowly charge with electricity, while the sky began flashing with light between the clouds.
At the same time, the sea beneath them churned visibly, as if two truly powerful entities were about to clash.
