Before the two of them could lift the dragon and leave, a familiar voice sounded behind them. "Hey. I don't think you two need to go to my island."
There was a short pause. "I'm already here."
Dahlia froze. Sorien's eyes shifted slightly. Both of them turned around at the same time.
Standing a short distance behind them, hands in his pockets, was Garion.
Garion stood there casually, as if he had simply walked over for a stroll.
Dahlia's eyes widened. "Master?"
Before Sorien could say anything, Dahlia had already dashed forward.
She slammed into Garion and wrapped her arms around him. "Are you crazy?!"
Her voice was loud and frustrated. "It's been a year! Why didn't you call us or send anything?!"
Garion blinked once from the sudden hug, then gave a small smile. "I was a bit busy."
Dahlia slowly pulled back and then stared at him. "Busy?"
Her eyebrows twitched.
Garion nodded calmly. "Yeah. On God Island."
Dahlia's expression froze. "…On what?"
