Inside the Verdest Dragon Clan's private room, Elder Ryvane Verdest stared at the final price with an ugly expression.
One of his subordinates lowered his head. "Elder… we can't continue bidding without affecting the clan's other plans."
Ryvane clenched his jaw.
He wanted the slot, but the Verdest Dragon Clan simply did not have enough money to keep competing with the factions still in the bidding.
