Cyrus was surprised. He thought that he might never see Soren in this form ever again. He was human again, or at least looked human.
Same shoulder length black fluffy hair. The eyes, deeper than the ocean. That infuriating smug smile that Cyrus had come to love. But the issue is that.
Soren had no clothes on…
Cyrus had given up on thinking that dreams with Soren will be normal. Soren had always appeared in his dreams without clothes on. He had stopped dreaming about Soren for a while but he has returned.
Cyrus, just like everyone else had never been able to tell dreams apart from reality but since Cyrus' dreams contain so much Soren. He knows it is a dream.
And dreams with Soren are never normal. Because only dream Soren would appear nude in front of Cyrus in bright daylight. They are not even in the orphanage anymore.
Some cartoonishly hilly area which looks like something Maelis would draw.
"Sunshine," Soren steps closer. Cyrus tries not to look down. He keeps his eyes fixed into Cyrus'.
"What." Cyrus replied, heat rising up to his cheeks.
"Let's go hiking." He took Cyrus' hands in his.
Cyrus tilted his head, "okay."
Both of them began walking on the cartoonish hill that looked like it had been drawn by a six year old. It looked barely coloured.
Suddenly Soren grabbed Cyrus by one of the shoulders and threw him forward.
Cyrus' eyes widened as he stumbled forward. He closed his eyes waiting for the inevitable fall. His face did it something but it wasn't the unfinished coloured grassy ground but a bed in an inn.
Cyrus had always thought that inns looked more like a place of carnal pleasure than where someone stays a night or two. His eyes opened and he looked around. It looked the same as when he, Soren, Marryanne, Ray and Jay had stayed in at the trip back from Elias' village.
The same soft bedding, the same rain hitting the windowsill. But Soren has changed. He changed back to his form where his deep blue pupils floated on that inky black scalara, now he is taller than the bed, both arms darkened with claws instead of fingernails.
But he still had that sweet smile he had given him the night in their bedroom where Cyrus had given himself away to Soren.
The room shifted into their orphanage bedroom.
Cyrus' breath got caught in his throat as he looked down and a flush rose on his neck. He is also nude.
And Soren, still in that form, was on top of him. Looking down at him with those eyes filled with devotion.
"Why do all of my dreams with you end up like this?" Cyrus' breath hitched.
Soren just chuckled, his deep voice sounding much more resolute, "it is because," Soren leaned closer, breath fanning over Cyrus' cheek, "you had always been the one to sexualize me… not the other way around, Sunshine."
Cyrus' eyes widened. Before he could say something. He saw Soren's mouth moving, "It is time for you to wake up now, Sunshine."
Cyrus jerked and sat up. His face, hot and red. He did not realize someone was shaking him. He looked at the silver haired, green-eyed elf.
Aizen blinked, "you are finally awake." his palm rested on Cyrus' shoulder. There was a smile on his face.
Cyrus groggily stretched and rubbed his eyes. Right, he had promised Voren that he will sneak Aizen food.
The morning light is already turnung golden. A slight guilt gripped on to Cyrus. Aizen must be starving because he had not gone down to make breakfast yet.
Soren and Voren had not returned yet. The kids have been asking questions. There was almost a rumour thaf Cyrus was depressed because Soren was missing againbthat is why he is earing breakfast in his room. That rumour is true he had been eating breakfast in his room, not because he is depressed but because he is hiding an elf in his room.
"Right," He climbed off of the bed and stretched, "I will go make breakfast."
"Can I follow you?" Aizen walked next to Cyrus, "please."
Cyrus rolled his eyes, "didn't Soren's clone told me to keep you hidden before he returned?"
"I will stay hidden," he gently gripped Cyrus's sleeve, "no kids will see me."
Cyrus sighs, "alright," he freed his sleeves from Aizen's grip, "but if you get seen and that clone gets angry. Don't drag me down with you."
Aizen nodded, "okay." He followed Cyrus out of the room, "I know that my shadow prince won't be angry with me–disappointed? Yes. But–never angry."
Cyrus yawns as he walks toward the kitchen, "you trust that clone too much."
Aizen followed Cyrus like a happy little puppy. Cyrus swore, if he turned around he would see the invisible tail wagging behind Aizen, "you also trust that clone's brother." He did not sound angry but rather happy as he followed Cyrus.
"No, I do not." Cyrus denied. But the way his body flinched slightly says that his mouth is lying.
As both of them were about to enter the kitchen, he suddenly stopped as he saw two figures already in the kitchen.
Aizen walked right into Cyrus' back. He is taller than Cyrus by half a head so his chin struck Cyrus' head, "ack– why did you stop?"
Then he looked forward and smiled, "Voren." He called out as both of the figures turned towards Cyrus and Aizen.
Cyrus' mind swirled, his breath hitched. Soren's black sclera was gone. He was not insanely tall anymore. Cyrus' Soren was back to being human again. Cyrus thought he might never see human Soren again. He had also accepted that Soren would stay changed forever. But now seeing Soren reverted back to how Cyrus is used to him made his heart swelled.
Both brothers were wearing aprons. Soren's one was all pink but Voren's one had floral patterns all over it. Voren was holding the spatula and Soren the recipe book as he was just now telling Voren what to put in that huge pot.
Anyone can tell that they are brothers because of their tastes in girly aprons.
Soren smiled, "you are up quiet early today, Sunshine. Care to join?"
Voren grinned, "join us, moonlight."
