Tessa finally got off Nala and helped her up. Nala immediately pulled Minne into a tight hug. One by one, the girls embraced her warmly, kissing her on the cheek and welcoming her back. The penthouse finally felt like home again. The cozy atmosphere I'd missed so much had returned.
Tessa walked over to me and stood beside me, arms crossed, watching the reunion. I glanced at her and raised an eyebrow.
"So… what was the bet?" I asked quietly.
Tessa leaned in and whispered, "That she'd be an idiot and actually send her nudes… and that she'd never come back to the penthouse."
"I told you girls I'd handle it," I said.
"Ooh, look at the big alpha male," Tessa teased, poking my shoulder. "You should start an online class and scam desperate guys."
"Like how Kayla is scamming all of you with that stupid app?" I shot back.
